Prime Minister Netanyahu to members of the IPAC board:
“If we achieve the goals of the war, then we will deal a heavy blow to the Iranian terrorist axis that is behind everything we are seeing today.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today with the members of the IPAC board, led by IPAC President Michael Tochin, in the office Prime Minister in Jerusalem. The Prime Minister spoke with the delegation and reviewed the situation of the fighting in Gaza, and also answered the questions of the members of the administration.
In the words of Prime Minister Netanyahu: “We define victory in the destruction of the military and governance capabilities of Hamas, in the return of the abductees – that is what we are dealing with Now – and preventing the return of Gaza from posing a threat to Israel in the future. There is also the northern front, where we want to return our citizens under conditions of security. For this, the withdrawal of Hezbollah is required – this is also part of our goals that we will not give up, it is very important.
“If we achieve these goals, then we will deal a heavy blow to the Iranian terrorist axis that is behind everything we see today. We all need to understand this, this is not just Israel’s war. It is indeed a war for our future, but it is also a war to bring victory to the axis of Israel, the US and the moderate Arabs – against Iran. If we do not achieve this victory that I spoke about, then we have been defeated. Defeat will bring terrible things to our future, to the future of the Middle East and beyond.
“Because this is a war of civilization against barbarism, between those who want to return the Middle East to the early Middle Ages and those who want to see it march towards the 21st century, which will be a century of progress and progress. This is the essence of the war. This is a very big war.”
The Prime Minister also added: “The picture that has been shown in the last few days and weeks in the United States is completely different from what I described. This is not unity among the people. Get into any taxi or mall, walk down the street and talk to the people, the great majority will tell you that they support what I just said – the goals set by the government. This Not what is described to you, they describe a detached prime minister with several extreme fringe groups and they are the ones who dictate the policy – this is not true, I would say a deliberate lie. They know it is not true, and this lie is being spread and it is wrong.
“There is unity among the people and agreement that a victory should be achieved as I described same. It’s within reach and we’re going to do it, I’ve said that to the president and the people I’ve talked to. They keep saying that local politics is getting in our way. They may be right, but on which side of the ocean?
“We’ve got to win this war, we’ve got to stand united and win the This war. We must be united here and we must be united there. Because it is the right thing to do, because it is the necessary thing to do, because it is the only thing that will guarantee the existence, the future and the security of the State of Israel.”
