Preparing to strike Iran costs $2.9 Billion per year.

By Ted Belman

According to Haaretz, Netanyahu orders IDF to prepare for possible strike on Iran during 2014 at a cost of $2.9 billion which is the same as last years cost.

And this is just for preparation. Netanyahu has said that he won’t be bound by the current negotiations. Therefore it would appear that Israel is putting her money where his mouth is,

  1. @ honeybee:
I’ll try today to find those two items. We are busy doing house renovations and our free time is limited. The apartment is a mess of construction debris…

I have a new ccomputor and have not learned to cut, copy and paste. I know we share a love of the American Southwest, I have two poems you may Google about spring time in NM.

“There will come Soft Rain” Sara Teasdale

” Wild Plum at Night”, Orrick Johns

My Father read them to me when I was small and I have loved them ever since.

  3. I’ll be darned…. To “get ready” costs 2.9 billion each year. So apparently every year they have to “get ready” from zero readiness. The readiness cycle is then zero to peak, 6 months from year’s start and then peak to zero… 6 months at year’s end. Remarkable.
So every year in about June we ready… without fail; NUTS!
If our cash is used that way… Oh boy! An Independent Investigative Commission must be elected directly by the taxpayers and take a look see into that bundle of cash real use.
