This was my comment which I made before i saw this excellent Prager video (Correction, I just looked at the comments and I saw it when it came out ‘but had forgotten it ’cause I commented irrelevantly on Felix’s irrelevant comment at the time (sorry about that.) : Anywho, this is the comment I just made on this TOI article that came out yesterday which I just saw:
Confused puppies. Demonstrating against your own country in a foreign land is an unpatriotic thing to do, to put it charitably, but at least they woke up enough to do the right thing when their motherland was brutally invaded by an army of sadistic, genocidal psychopaths, albeit which occurred at least in part because the enemy saw Israelis’ apparent disunity and weakness over the Judicial Reform as well as in response to the internal anti-semitic riots of Israeli Arabs a couple of years before.
Prager seems not to be aware of the role of American Imperialism from Vietnam on including the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia when he writes
“That anyone outside of Russia would offer this argument is depressing. Do the people who make this argument believe that Russia has a legitimate fear of an attack by a NATO country? Or do they believe that Putin fears an attack by a NATO country?”
As Colonel MacGregor says look at a map to see NATO camping on the borders of Russia
@Felix Wait, weren’t you pro-Putin and Russia just a minute ago? All this stuff about WWII, and just recently comparing Xi to Putin while defending the Chinese government in the discussion of Wuhan. Are you getting mixed up?
What would Trotsky say.
Excellent commentary by Prager.
Denis Prager war Ukraine
“One hopes that virtually all conservatives (and virtually all people across the political spectrum) regard the invasion as evil. Whoever doesn’t has a malfunctioning conscience.
Yet, some people, on the Right as well as the Left, do not put the entire blame for the war on Putin. Their chief argument is that Putin felt threatened by the possible expansion of NATO into Ukraine.

If Russia is ruled by a paranoid dictator without a conscience (as evidenced by his murdering Russian dissidents and the ongoing laying of Ukrainian cities to waste), his paranoia is not to be honored. To cite the example of Hitler again, he sought the annihilation of the Jews because he feared them; he constantly reiterated his paranoid belief that the Jews sought the destruction of Germany and of the Aryan race. Paranoid dictators need to be confronted, not patronized.” https://dennisprager.com/column/ukraine-what-is-in-americas-interest/
