Portman universallizes antisemitism implying that it is just another form of discrimination

T. Belman. Portman is of course a Harvard alum. You’d never know it by the innocuousness of her reply. To equate her suffering antisemitism in Paris to a black suffering discrimination in America is inane and not worthy of a response. But to show how inclusive she is she also empathized with being a Muslim in some countries. She must be referring to non existing Islamophobia.

Natalie Portman worried about anti-Semitism in Paris

“Israeli-born actress and director Natalie Portman told British magazine Marie Claire that she is worried by the growing anti-Semitism in Paris, where she moved last year with her husband Benjamin Millepied, Director of Dance at the Paris Opera Ballet, and their son.

“Hatred exists in many forms and in many places and it’s important to be aware of it,” she said.

“If you can take something positive from it, it allows us to have more empathy to others who are experiencing it.”she is worried by the growing antisemitism in Paris, where she moved last year with her husband Benjamin Millepied, Director of Dance at the Paris Opera Ballet, and their son.

Portman was asked if she feels nervous about being Jewish in Paris. “Yes,” she replied, adding: “But I’d feel nervous being a black man in this country. I’d feel nervous being a Muslim in many places.”

I could not care less what some motion picture starlet thinks of the Jewish nation and Jewish state, discrimination against Jews or any other group, or indeed, any topic unrelated to what their film studios, and us, the viewing public, pay them for. Which is nothing more or less than to shake their asses artistically in our millions of faces and cause us to suspend our beliefs in reality and cause us to imagine they are the characters which they portray. That goes for Jewish Israeli actresses as well as any others.

Like Donald Trump, I have no time for, or interest in, political correctness of any kind.

Why I don’t go to movies, why I almost never buy any music. Plenty of other ways to get entertainment or watch movies or listen to music I want.

  2. Whoa, Natalie! Why be so selective? Why don’t you mention perhaps the most wicked discrimination of all, anti-animal hate. Remember the hatred that played out in the cold-blooded murder of Cecil the Lion!

  3. Portman lives in LaLa land which in Paris is the .01% of the population . Her 6 million dollar townhouse is on Avenue George v . Her neighbor so happens to be Sula Arafat who lives down the street in a 10 million dollar home , Money stolen from the billions od dollars of Aid money the EU and the USA gives to Abbas and his gang of Islamic racists . How pathetic the world has become .
