“Rabbi Altmann and his secretary were sitting in a coffeehouse in Berlin in 1935. “Herr Altmann,” said his secretary, “I notice you’re reading Der Stürmer! I can’t understand why. A Nazi libel sheet! Are you some kind of masochist, or, God forbid, a self-hating Jew?”
“On the contrary, Frau Epstein. When I used to read the Jewish papers, all I learned about were pogroms, riots in Palestine, and assimilation in America. But now that I read Der Stürmer, I see so much more: that the Jews control all the banks, that we dominate in the arts, and that we’re on the verge of taking over the entire world. You know – it makes me feel a whole lot better!”‘

LOL. Well said.
I like TFI Global, because they have nice news.
Unfortunately half of the time they are not true.
Honeybee, while Poland and others are clambering to get on the natural gas train, Democrat-controlled areas of the US are rushing to BAN natural gas.
I’m not making this up. My own county plans a meeting to do this here as well.
What!!!!!!!! When push comes to shove sanctions are useless.
Hi, Sebastien
Nobody else thinks Poland is undermining the EU.
I note the same thing. I have little confidence in TFI.
@Peloni My point is that the main thesis, and the title, of the TFI Global video is that Poland is undermining the EU and it is untrue. The EU deliberately left a loophole big enough to drive a truck through. Maybe they all have dementia? When. I framed the query like that, nothing else came up. Only this video. Nobody else thinks Poland is undermining the EU.
@Sebastien
“The European Union will impose an embargo on the import of Russian oil from Dec. 5, but the ban formally applies only to supplies by sea and deliveries through Druzhba are not subject to it.”
Additionally, the sea embargo is only related to the sale of Russian oil which comes directly from Russia. They claim differently, but it is an old game, where the oil from Russia is repackaged, relabeled and reshipped as coming from China, India or Saudi Arabia, for example. Of course, the oil will be coming from these nations, just not originating there. The repackaging scam leads to a significant marke-up price offering a respective return for both the middlemen and shippers involved in this very well known smuggling charade. The end result is that those who are buying Russian oil will be making a killing while reselling the gas to Europe at excedingly expensive prices. The land locked nations, such as Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic are particularly dependent on the Druzhba pipeline since they are unable to gain access to this oil-smuggling-by-sea game since the sea side nations can’t gain access to enough oil to satisfy themselves. So if anything should happen to the Druzhba pipe, the pipe itself, it would be particularly damaging to these eastern European states.
Relatedly, the Druzhba went offline two days ago, reportedly due to electrical failures secondary to a Russian attack per Ukraine, where this last Russian pipeline travels thru. The pipeline is now restarted, but still with very low pressure, placing a significant amount of pressure on Orban and the other nations which the Druzhba feeds. Of course, everyone is saying that the drop in pressure is temporary, but if it isn’t or if the Druzhba should be damaged as were the Nordstream pipes, the consequences would be quite significant, particularly for Hungary and the other land locked nations.
Just FYI
Good link, Sebastien. Let’s ask Joe Biden, what this all means (Don’t get your hopes up):
Poland plans to keep warm this winter (Good idea!). I wonder if their dangling the threat of Article V and nuclear war in front of Putin had anything to do with securing the deal.

So, if you read the Reuters article, while Poland is backtracking on it’s previous committment to be more Catholic than the Pope with regard to EU sanctions, now it is simply going along with the EU whose sanctions are inconsistent.

Europe’s energy woes (and America’s) were primarily causes by the Greens (NOT MTG BTW).
