Nashville, TN (November 11, 2013)
– Laurie Cardoza Moore, President & Founder of the International Christian, pro-Israel organization, Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN), is calling on Congress to demand the resignation of Secretary of State John Kerry for his recent inflammatory statement’s inciting a third intifada by the Palestinians against the Jews in Israel and his comments delegitimizing Israel’s rights to her ancient homeland.
It is time for Jews, Christians and all people of conscience to contact their elected officials and demand that Congress hold this Administration accountable for the repeated efforts to violate International and Federal laws,” notes Cardoza-Moore. “If we do not stand with Israel and defend her rights to her ancient homeland, we will be unable to defend ours.”<!–more–
Ms. Cardoza Moore, who also serves as an ECOSOC Special Envoy to the United Nations for the World Council of Independent Christian Churches (WCICC), condemned the statements by the Secretary of State, noting that less than 24 hours after Secretary Kerry made the inflammatory remarks, a Jewish family’s car was targeted for a terrorist attack.
“The Obama Administration’s policies continue to violate Federal and International Law, dating as far back as 1922,” continued Ms. Cardoza Moore.
As PJTN makes preparations for the global release of its next feature length documentary, Israel Indivisible: The Case For The Ancient Homeland in the biblical heartland of Israel, Ms. Cardoza Moore called on Congress to take action against Secretary Kerry. To suggest, by implication, that Israel will be guilty of inciting a third intifada is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable,” stated Ms. Cardoza Moore. “Secretary Kerry’s comments open the door for the attackers to use the age-old tactic of blaming their aggression on the victims.
“This administration is solely to blame for the destabilization of the region. From its failure to protect the lives of four Americans in Benghazi to the slaughter of Christians in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and Syria, the only stabilizing force in the region is Israel.”
Israel Indivisible: The Case For The Ancient Homeland will make its global premiere Thursday night, November 14th, at Ariel University at 7pm in Ariel, Israel. The film will shine the light on the historical, archaeological, legal and biblical evidence to prove Israel’s rights to her ancient homeland.
For Secretary Kerry to suggest the Jewish settlements in the West Bank are illegitimate is a violation of international law, as well as American law.
* For example, The Lodge-Fish Resolution of September 21, 1922, was a Joint Resolution passed by both houses of the U.S. Congress and signed by President Warren Harding, endorsing the Balfour Declaration with slight variations. This made the text of the Joint Resolution part of the law of the United States until this very day.
“Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, that the United States of America favors the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people…” confirming the irrevocable right of Jews to settle in the area of Palestine – anywhere between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
Under American Law when a joint resolution is passed by both the Senate and the House of Representatives in an identical form and then signed by the President, it becomes the Law of the U.S.
Therefore reconstituting Palestine as a National Homeland for the Jewish People worldwide and recognizing their historical connection to the land became part of US LAW. Any attempt to negate the Jewish people’s right to Palestine and to deny them access and control in the area designated for the Jewish people by the League of Nations is an actionable infringement of both international law and the Supremacy Clause (Article VI, paragraph 2 of the United States Constitution), which dictates that Treaties “shall be the supreme Law of the Land”.
Israel Indivisible: The Case For The Ancient Homeland was produced to educate and mobilize Jews, Christians and all people of conscience to stand in defense of Israel’s legitimate right to her ancient homeland.

the natural, and legal, rights of jewish settlement were rotted by the neglect of Israel and jewish diaspora leadership.

Is this what is really going on in Gaza and the egyptian strangling of hamas?
“Lurch” Kerry needs to be put into a closet and only need to reappear (with minimal verbiage) if they ever bring the Adams Family back to life.
They will have to drag him by his hair, kicking and screaming with Teresa holding his ancles, to get him to leave. He is a power sucking leach.

Bill please reread my statement regarding what was pathetic:

Note that I specifically referred to legal rights of Jewish settlement, not Iran, not peacemaking, etc. Also I was not commenting on the value of the christian orgs action but on the lack of action by jewish leadership and Israel. I do not accept that being afraid of being “too openly critical” applies to pursuing ones legal rights in the relevant venues or is a valid excuse for not filing cases. Jewish orgs could file those cases without endangering Jews or Israel. Not filing those case may be the biggest error and main cause of most problems today. Not filing those cases is the basis of claims of illegality and illegitimacy; after all a legitimate party would claim his rights. Leftists and pals file cases for their position but Israel and jewish NGO’s rarely do. The first case should be against the UN and all the signatories and guarantors to San Remo, LON who are now overtly obstructing Jewish settlement in govt policies as opposed to their legal treaty obligation to “encourage” Jewish settlement. Sue for treaty partners to honor their treaties, is that a big deal?
Furthermore, the lack of claims coupled with the willingness to negotiate on arab claims reinforces anti semitic stereotypes by depicting the Jews as unprincipled, as only being interested in deals. Remember, declaring the rights takes nothing but a mouth and filing cases only takes lawyers: this is a small effort when one sees the damage done by neglect. It appears that many get rewards by reinforcing these old canards and maintaining the ignorance of Jewish and Israeli children e.g. Livni, meretz, etc. If a jew does not have a legal basis for being in hebron then he has no legal basis for being in tel Aviv. My comment had nothing to do with the Christian org but the lack of Jewish action: which I still maintain is pathetic and embarassing. Israel is strong enough now that it should not be looking to others to do its work. In fact, not claiming those rights overtly and in courts strips Israel of support because only a gonef does not claim his rights. Perception not facts drive the narratives which damage Israel today and those perceptions are caused by Israel’s negligence.
Bernard, it is not pathetic that PJTN, a Christian organization is taking the lead on this. What will be pathetic is if Jewish leadership does not welcome and seize the helping hand Laurie Cardoza Moore, head of PJTN extends to Israel and the Jewish people.
It is a harsh painful reality that Israel and Jewish leaders have valid reason to avoid being too openly critical and confrontational of U.S. leadership, be it as regards Obama and his administration, past U.S. presidential administrations or other world leaders when it comes to their words and policies that sorely if not prejudicially impact Israel. It is unnecessary to enumerate these valid reasons as they are obvious and well known.
The notion of Jewish leadership partnering with Christians in defence of Israel and Jews was raised by a Shelley Neese, Editor, The Jerusalem Connection
in an article Christian Zionists and Jews: Natural Allies that Israpundit ran back in 2007
https://www.israpundit.org/archives/3821
On March 25th, 2011, I penned an article – really an open letter to Jewish leadership: Islamofacism Makes A Mutual Christian-Jewish-Israel Defence Pact a No Brainer
http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/STANDING_WITH_ISRAEL/conversations/topics/42872?unwrap=1&var=1
My open letter made the case not just for Jews and Christians being natural allies against Islamism, but proposed that North American Jewish leaders, especially those involved in interfaith, arrange for Jewish and Christian communities to come together across N.A. to view and discuss PJTN’s then current Telly Award winning documentary The Forgotten People – Christianity and The Holocaust. The trailer for the documentary is available at: http://www.pjtn.org/PJTNBlog/tabid/72/entryid/67/Default.aspxdocumentary
As you might imagine, while my proposal received a great many positive replies from ordinary grass roots Jews, I heard not a word from the many Canadian and American Jewish religious and lay leaders.
The time now however, might be opportune for Jewish leadership to respond positively to such proposal as regards PJTN’s most recent documentary, Israel Indivisible: The Case For The Ancient Homeland
But for J Street, it appears Jewish leadership is finally uniting with Netanyahu to condemn Kerry’s recent comments in relation to both the Obama-Kerry outreach to Iran seeming to be premised on achieving any kind of deal regardless of cost and Kerry’s words regarding current talks with the Palestinians, his words on settlements and the adverse consequences of a violent reaction by Palestinians if talks fail, of increasing isolation in the international community and implying the U.S. would hold Israel and not Palestinians accountable for such failure.
See: http://www.algemeiner.com/2013/11/10/top-american-jewish-leaders-slam-kerry-obama-admin-over-iran-peace-talks-comments/
Add to that, the fact that France no less took a stand against the U.S. making a “sucker’s deal” with the Iranians.
Given the almost united American Jewish front against the folly of the Obama administration’s seeming desperation in getting any kind of deal with the Iranians that they doubtless will try to sell as an Obama victory and against Kerry’s idiotic, but no less harmful words for Israel and Jews, now would be a good time to prevail upon Jewish leadership to have Cardoza Moore address major Jewish communities and for all Jewish communities to arrange to view and discuss PJTN’s most recent documentary aforesaid as well as to critically discuss the Obama-Kerry outreach to Iran and Kerry’s injurious words.
I thus encourage all Israpundit followers to now prevail upon their own local, provincial, state and national leadership for that purpose.
The Law is what Power says it is. Precedent gets shifted to the back of the bus. Natural Rights are rotted by Ideology. Good becomes gray as Evil becomes gray and they meld into a silent fog that sits sullenly upon us all, choking off speech and causing coughing and sputtering among the citizens.
“It’s not your business, Mr. Obama!” This should become the rallying cry of all decent Americans.
It is regrettable that the so-called Israeli “””legal counsels””” either ignore the existence of the American legislation or are scared to oppose it to the US Administration, in order to assert the inalienable rights of the Jewish People to settle in Judea and Samaria.
In addition to the Lodge-Fish Resolution which is indeed a fundamental legislation under which the Jewish rights may be asserted under American law, there is another American legislation known as the Anglo-American Convention of 1924 which recognized all the rights granted to the Jewish People to settle anywhere in Palestine pursuant to the provisions of the Mandate.
The Anglo-American Convention, once ratified by the Senate and signed by the President Calvin Coolidge, became incorporated into American law.
Instead of opposing valid and trustworthy agreements, the Israeli leaders prefer to found their arguments to justify the settlements in Judea and Samaria based on the provisions of the illegal Oslo Accords signed with a terrorist entity, the PLO, thereby becoming null and void ab initio, and without any effect or liability.
Its pathetic and embarrassing that it takes a christian organization to file the first suit against a nation or entity demanding enforcement of internationally guaranteed legal rights of Jewish settlement in YS. Israel and all the BS Jewish organizations none of whom have embarked on this obvious path should be ashamed and embarrassed. ADL does not take up one of the greatest defamations of the Jewish people. the Israeli govt cannot even bring itself to say that Jewish settlement is legal and to demand that foreign entities fulfill their legal agreements with the Jewish people. Thanks to this Christian organization for doing the job that Jews, the inheritors of Israel, should have done.
