The Pentagon is upping security for the Trump and Harris campaigns.

On Thursday, Department of Defense (DOD) spokeswoman Sabrina Singh announced that Secretary Lloyd Austin approved the additional aid. It will include an increased number of National Guardsmen.

The additional troops are expected to bolster explosives and chemical weapons detection, as well as providing additional military dog and helicopter resources.

Singh said the extra protections will remain through inauguration day for whoever wins.

“The Department of Defense will provide protective support and will continue, and that will continue through the election on November 5th, 2024, with anticipated continued support to the president elect and Vice President elect through the inauguration of January 20th, 2025,” Singh said.

Security concerns have been on the forefront of Americans minds ever since the assassination attempt against President Donald Trump and a foiled assassination plot against him from Iranian nationals.

The intelligence community has been sounding the alarm on security threats posed by foreign adversaries ahead of Election Day.

  1. Why is this, (the Pentagon approving additional security for Trump, and Harris), a good thing? Is the Pentagon (DOD) any more virtuous than the Dept of Justice (FBI), or the Dept of the Treasury (USSS) or the CIA? Lloyd Austin was falling all over himself to implement the woke directives of the Biden Administration, so what makes anyone think that having the Pentagon approve more security for Trump (or Harris, ha ha) is a good thing? I foresee either an “unsuccessful” attempt on Harris to make her look like a hero, or a successful attempt on Trump, or maybe both. Having the Pentagon’s fingers in the pie, all we can be certain of is trouble.

FYI, since the CIA is highly suspect, I attempted to learn what (cabinet level) administrative branch it operates under. After half an hour of searching for this one apparently simple fact, it appears that the CIA is a rogue agency, not answerable to much of anyone other than itself. The answers to the questions that history demands, are undoubtedly to be found there.
