Pamela Geller’s War On Radical Islam And Everybody Else

T. Belman. The American media, or most of them, are outraged, not at Muslims for attempting a mass slaughter at the event, but at Pemela Geller for holding the event.

Pamela Geller tested the First Amendment and America failed.

Have you hugged a Jihadist today? Everybody else has. Have you trashed Pamela Geller this morning? Welcome to the club.

Pamela Geller made a mistake. She tested the First Amendment and the First Amendment lost.

This fighter for Israel, this battler against Radical Islam can seem to find no friends after what she did.

She tried to prove that America is not France, where 11 were murdered by Islamists for printing Mohammad cartoons, nor are we the Netherlands, where Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s partner, Director Theo van Gogh was murdered for his documentary Submission, which exposed Islamist mistreatment of women.

This cannot happen in America, assumed Miss Geller, here in the land of the free, home of the brave, and she was wrong.

It can happen here, and it did…in part.

Together with Robert Spencer, Geller organized a Mohammad Cartoon Contest in Garland, Texas; obviously as a means to illustrate that America will not be intimidated. Two apparent Jihadists (with possible links to ISIS) tried to storm the event, but were killed by local police.

After that came the denunciations. No, not against the Islamic fanatics. But against Geller.

From all across the Liberal dials, plus The New York Times, came blasts of outrage against Geller for being “provocative” and “asking for trouble.”

But Conservatives? They too piled on. Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, Don Imus – all those and others want her scalp.

Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum was especially harsh during this morning’s interview with Geller.

Better, they allege, if Geller would hush up and forget the First Amendment. Safer, they suggest, if we submit and become a nation of wimps.

There was a time, among journalists especially, when Americans were unafraid and quick to speak their minds.
Imus, legendary as a shock jock and as a man who fearlessly speaks his mind, was astonishingly disapproving of Geller, and fearful.

“When you inflame people,” he said, “what else can you expect?”

Well, Don, you can expect a touch of support for a woman who champions free speech.

Besides, how can you inflame people, these Jihadists, who are always on fire anyway?

Robert Spencer writes bestsellers and runs the Jihad Watch website to reveal outrages committed in the name of Islam. Ditto Geller who refuses to be stopped in support of Israel and in exposing the encroachment of Islamic Extremism. They are brave. Are they the last of the brave? Read this.

There was a time, among journalists especially, when Americans were unafraid and quick to speak their minds. We saw this from last week’s PBS program about Vietnam, which featured reporters going after LBJ and Nixon with a vengeance. Compare that to today’s reporters who remain putty in the hands of Obama.

Seems that we have trained ourselves to be compliant, passive, easily cowed and entirely too close to being cowards.

If freedom of speech is not worth fighting for – what will we give up next?

Geller has a right to speak her mind! Freedom of Speech! If one does not like her speech fine say so. That is Freedom of Speech. Siding with those trying to kill her because of her style is giving in to the enemy of freedom and radical Muslims.

Fighting Islamic Radicals is what she is doing by pointing out how they are against Freedom. She is using a tactic that points out that Islamists want to impose Sharia Law everywhere and restrict freedom of Speech.

Attacking her is saying you are siding with the radical Muslims (because she is not polite enough or politically correct). You are siding or surrendering to the people who are trying to restrict freedom and would convert or kill Jews and Christians if they could is simply weak and misguided.

The time has come for many things the Walrus…
Those perverted cowards, sold out trash that prepare the ground to Pamela’s and others murders by the bestial Islamic entities they tacitly promote, MUST be sternly warned that any victims resulting from their action will be turned to their personal jeopardy.
NO! Enough! If they wish to wallow in the Islamic miasma, no problem. Making those that intend and act to stop Islamic mass murdering beasts from so doing and turning us all into sacrificial victims to their cowardly lives, will result on their own jeopardy.
Destruction of violent Islam is a must.

  3. It appears that the Islamic beasts are being slaughtered in the fashion they murder other religions adherents.
It is the only way to attend to the ghastly vermin.

  4. But Conservatives? They too piled on. Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, Don Imus – all those and others want her scalp.

Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum was especially harsh during this morning’s interview with Geller.

These useless cowards are NOT conservatives. And Don Imus of all people to be taking this position when he has made a career out of being provocative. Anyone but Muslims can be insulted according to this “shock jock”.

  5. As I said yesterday, Pam may have actually saved lives by baiting these jihadists into exposing themselves prematurely before a much larger plot is carried out. They were unable to contain themselves. Now law enforcement has just cause to search their homes and whoever they may have ties to.

  6. Israel gains nothing from some of its supporters insulting the prophet of Islam,

Why do you refer to him in this manner? Is he your prophet? Does Islam deserve any kind of respect?

  7. Pamela Geller definitely has my support. Arnold and Yamit, you are dead wrong. I don’t give a damn if Muslims are offended. They offend me on a regular basis. They are constantly spewing hatred against Jews. We cannot and should not change our culture in any way to suit them. If they don’t like it, they should get out of my country. Arnold’s view is unsurprising given he is enamored with totalitarian societies.

  8. No, Yamit is right and the rest of you are wrong. She never should have gotten involved in one these silly freedom-of-expression games personally insulting to Moslems. Now she is in fact targeted for death, which could take place whenever she shows herself in some pre-announced event. Because ISIS could and did in fact recruit two killers to show up at that foolish event in Texas. Which means they do in fact have other would-be suicidal killers scattered around this country.

What’s important here? Re-establishing the Jewish nation in control of all Eretz-Yisrael, or fighting these utterly stupid hasbarot wars, as if the rebuilding of Eretz-Yisrael required something that resembles a high school debate that never ends?

This is exactly what happened to the great Rav Meir Kahane, in that New York hotel room almost 25 years ago, when he thought his so-called Jewish Defense League was actually made of the kind of human stuff that could actually protect him from assassination.

And if and when those killers find her, do any of you seriously imagine the world as a whole will mourn her for one than a day or two?

There is no truth or justice. There is only power. And power is precisely what the Jewish nation needs to build for itself, which is precisely the reason that modern Israel was conceived. So stick with the program. Israel gains nothing from some of its supporters insulting the prophet of Islam, except vengeance directly applied. But if Israel and the Jewish nation stick to building Jewish power in the Jewish homeland, that lengthens the odds that some day, Israel will have friendlier relations with not a few of the Arab and other Islamic states. But nobody will achieve that through insults that invite assassination.

  9. I’m surprised that the FOX News folks were hard on her. Murdoch does have a significant investment by a Saudi prince. Also shows how far we’ve descended from “Live Free or Die.” Disgraceful.

I also support Mrs. Geller and her AFDI. I think she’s a modern day hero.

She is playing with fire tactically and could backfire thus setting her movement and the message she want to proliferated back to square one except that it appears any publicity Geller gets good bad and controversial is good for business. (Hers)

I think you are wrong on both counts. Are you saying that because someone might get killed she shouldn’t hold such events? She is right not to be intimidated.

As for being good for her business, you should be ashamed of your yourself for casting this slur. She raises a lot of money to pay for ads and security. That is her “business”. Are you suggesting that she is pocketing the money?

  11. @ Bear Klein:

    @ Bear Klein:

ISIS is now threatening to kill Geller. I hope she gets good security.

It’s unfortunate that the only way to spark the American people into realizing how dangerous radical Islam is is by having an event drawing a cartoon?

She didn’t burn the Koran but certainly is treated as if she did – by her fellow Americans!!

Now that this has occurred she will have to develope not only more safeguards for herself – but for anyone who participates in her events, speeches.

I would still like to have a word with the weak Canadian Rabbi who was threatened in Canada by a Muslim cop – and he caved in!

The last thing we need is weak rabbis who’s only interest is to get Jews back into the shul anyway. The shul is not the temple. We have the temple in our hearts, in our homes. The shul is just a place to gather but it is not necessary. Many good observant Jews do not attend shul.

  12. What would be the reaction of public and the message Geller is attempting to present if the Terrorists p0lans had been successful and many killed and wounded. She is playing with fire tactically and could backfire thus setting her movement and the message she want to proliferated back to square one except that it appears any publicity Geller gets good bad and controversial is good for business. (Hers)

That said the reaction of all Fox Talking heads has shown once again that they don’t have a clue about Islam and even Hannity is too stupid to understand the nature of the beast he opposed, whether this is an imposed Fox corporate position or each of the Talking heads, I can’t say. Was fun to watch when put to the test of standing up for freedom of speech and religion positions to always take and supporting the one action that tests their positions in real time ..reality… They all failed IMO!!

  13. I am sure to no one’s surprise I fully support Pamela Geller. There is nothing to converse about with Islamic beasts. They wage total war and we must wage total war against the cult of death. ISIS, Boko Haram, Hezbollah, Hamas, PLO and other labels used by bestial Islam must be destroyed. And with them anyone promoting that ghastly thing.
