This is talking a lot, but not saying anything.
Just ‘ra ra’ hipe. Telling the audience what they want to hear.
“Our allies” category includes Islamic states that would be just as happy to see the United States converted to an irradiated zone, but need it to kill those Muslims who have a difference of opinion.
And, for the record, Washington didn’t defeat the British. They failed to win due to faulty logistics. The British could have returned in 1816, and retaken all of the colonies with a veteran Army and a massive Royal Navy, but didn’t. Think about it.
Lastly, Americans may THINK they revolted to secure freedom, but actually that was not the case. What they fought for was freedom of sea trade. Most of the conditions imposed by the British on the colonies are still there, and then some.
And she is supposed to be a ‘politician’?
