The current Occupy Wall Street movement is the best illustration to date of what President Barack Obama’s America looks like. It is an America where the lawless, unaccomplished, ignorant and incompetent rule. It is an America where those who have sacrificed nothing pillage and destroy the lives of those who have sacrificed greatly.
It is an America where history is rewritten to honor dictators, murderers and thieves. It is an America where violence, racism, hatred, class warfare and of murder are all promoted as acceptable means of overturning the American civil society.
It is an America where humans have been degraded to the level of animals: of defecating in public, having sex in public, devoid of basic hygiene. It is an America where the basic tenets of a civil society, including faith, family, a free press and individual rights, have been always rejected. It is an America where our founding documents have been now shredded and, with them, every person’s guaranteed liberties.
It is an America where, ultimately, great suffering will come to the American people, but the rulers like Obama, Michelle Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Joe Biden, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, liberal college professors, union bosses and all other loyal liberal/Communist Party members will live in opulent splendor.
It is the America that Obama and the Democrat Party have now created with all the willing assistance of the American media, Hollywood , unions, universities, the Communist Party of America, the Black Panthers and numerous anti-American foreign entities.
Barack Obama has brought more destruction upon this country in 3 years than any other event in the history of our nation, but it is just the beginning of what he and his comrades are capable of.
The Occupy Wall Street movement is just another step in their plan for the annihilation of America .

Those of you who find Dr. Sowell’s piece so brilliant should read “It’s Even Worse Than it Looks” by Ornstein and Mann. You might be a little less inclined to blindly kneel at the altar of conservatism and see the dyfunction in government today is very bi-partisan. Just saying…

No,you’ve got it bass ackwards. The OWS clowns are anti-free speech; they want to rob the rest of us of our first amendment rights, by legitimizing lawless behavior. If they are successful, might will triumph over right, and the USA will have a dictatorship. However, it goes further. The OWS turds are Obama’s army, funded by George Soros. Dr. Sowell is warning us about them. Your comment is just the kind of thing an OWS clown would say; perhaps you are one of them.
Oatmeal’s comment is repulsive, essentially ‘how dare he get all uppity and tell the truth about US leaders!’. Blind subservience to big-lie spewing leaders is not a good thing (Ben Hecht writes eloquently about this in Perfidy), and we’re fortunate that Sowell is given any access to mass media at all.
He preaches liberation from oppressive governance and Oatmeal chimes in with his support for…oppressive governance. Classic.
The ones that need to leave are disgusting US leaders and their various 5th column Islamist-lobby pets who somehow think that American citizens want to have a variety of historical revisionist bunk shoved in their faces every day about some non-existent ‘glories’ of Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood.

What an ignorant statement, especially coming from someone who would place these same comments on those who wish to destroy Israel from within. Thomas Sowell, a strong supporter of a strong Israel, is a brilliant conservative intellectual who, among few, has the courage to tell the truth. Making a bold statement about the destruction of America that is taking place does not mean he should leave, but that he wants to stay. Whenever an ignorant soul dislikes a comment made by someone about the USA, they always say, “Well, then, damn it, leave.” You, very bland oatmeal, are just such a soul.

Why Saudi Arabia? Why not Israel? What is going on today is similar to what was going on in Germany in the 30’s. Jews who got out in time survived. Yes, America is falling apart. Jews will be hurt badly. Time for us Jews to come home to Israel. America is not our home. We need to be honest about the danger to Jews in America.
In Israel we can continue doing our businesses that we do in America.

I see opinions expressed about the behaviors of those purporting to exercise free speech and a general distaste for where American leadership is leading. Is the interruption of Orens speech an exercise of free speech?

What the traitor is saying, is that most Americans are “an America where the lawless, unaccomplished, ignorant and incompetent.” If Sowell doesn’t like America and Americans, exercising free speech, he’s welcome to choose any of some 200 other countries to live in. I recommend Saudi Arabia.
