Raylan Givens tweeted the following:
NORTH GAZA – BIG CHANGES COMING: The IDF has announced that the 162nd Division has completed the separation of North Gaza into two sectors:
1. The northernmost area – which includes several tens of square kilometers (Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia) is almost wholly evacuated and emptied of civilians and terrorists. The IDF has so far evacuated nearly 60,000 people from it, and according to estimates, only a few thousand remain in the area: 1,000-1,300 in Beit Lahia (expected to be evacuated in the coming days), a few hundred in Beit Hanoun, and a few hundred others in Jabalia.
2. The IDF has created the conditions for realizing the “Generals” Plan. Now, the ball is in the hands of the political echelon – who may decide that it is possible to move forward with implementing the following stages of the plan. Gallant’s firing today and a Trump victory will likely speed up and ensure this decision.
3. Explanation of the map: the blue line is the new corridor that the IDF 162nd Division has created separating specific neighborhoods from Gaza City, and the green line is the Netzarim Corridor, which separates Gaza City from the rest of the Strip. Everything north of the Netzarim Corridor is now further divided into two sectors; Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun are to the right of the blue line, and Gaza City is to the left of the blue line and the right of the green line (Netzarim).
What do the plan to do with Gaza City?
