I expect the President to use the first debate to display his own excellent record, while allowing Biden to wear himself out and humiliate himself with baseless attacks — political judo, if you will. Pres. Trump can think on his feet, and is likely to wallop Biden when he’s off-balance. Maybe he’ll do this, and maybe not. One thing’s almost certain: Trump will not choke like a Romney.
Biden is a sleazeball cipher, propped up by a completely unscrupulous press and an army of lawyers. I’d like ringside tickets for this event.
