Sec’y Kerry talked to PM Netanyahu on Thursday and profusely apologized for the remarks reported by Jonah Goldberg. He said that the comments were “outrageous and unacceptable.” and “We condemn anybody who uses language such as was used in this article,” Kerry told an audience at the annual Washington Ideas Forum. “It does not reflect the president, it does not reflect me, it is disgraceful, unacceptable, damaging.” I guess the blow back was too strong to withstand.
But the real problem is not so much the words chosen but rather the mentality of the US Administration. The US Administration expects Netanyahu to defy the will of the people and to embrace the American diktat. They believe a strong leader would accept a border based on 67 lines plus swaps.
What is needed is for the US to back away from demanding such borders.
What is also needed now that Kerry is trying to restart “negotiations” is for Netanyahu to clearly state that He will never accept such borders nor negotiate when such borders are a foregone conclusion by the US administration.
Kerry had the hutzpah on Thursday after the attempted assassination of Glick, to call for restraint and for maintenance of the status quo. America thinks it can constantly call the shots for us. The status quo on the Temple Mount is discriminatory to Jews, yet Kerry wants us to maintain it. Better he should be calling for an end to the discrimination. Caroline Glick says the proper response for Israel to open the TM for Jews to enter and pray.

Bibi should say to Kerry to negotiate we want preconditions. Acceptance of the Jewish Nation State of Israel by the entire Palestinian faction (Hamas and PLO). Permanence of Israel in all settlement blocks, Area C and Greater Jerusalem as annexed by Israel. After that we negotiate the demilitarizing Gaza, Area A & B and what level of autonomy they can legally employ. Short of this agreement in advance there is nothing to negotiate.

Surely an lame duck administration will swing axes but it will only achieve defeat for any democratic party candidate.
Demanding, and even worse, expecting Binyamin Netanyahu to defy John Kerry and Barack Hussein Obama in 2014 is somewhat akin to an assumption in 1943 that Benito Mussolini could or would even try to defy Joachim Ribbentrop and Adolf Hitler. (The only fascist or fascist-allied leaders in World War 2 who got away with that were Franco of Spain and Mannerheim of Finland.)
Nevertheless, Israel must in fact keep general control over all the land west of the Jordan River, with suitable and separate local autonomy arrangements for the bulk of the Arabs who will not be given Israeli citizenship and who will not agree to being bought out and smuggled into other countries.
And Israel as soon as practicable must get out from under the clumsy thumbs of the their present masters in Washington. If not, the day will come when you get treated exactly like the Roman province of the 1st century, celebrated by the dolorous carvings on the Arch of Titus showing the looted national menora of the Jews being carried away as part of the triumph of a Roman emperor.

Each and every statement made by this antisemitic gang (that MOST DEFINITELY cannot shoot straight) headed by the musloid in chief and represented by Mr. Ketchup, has this unmistakeable olfactory assault signature.
In ANY communication, it would be imperative to know what makes the ‘other’ tick so as to be able to talk to him ‘in his own language’ and the message would be understood.
