NETANYAHU DELIVERS OUTSTANDING SPEECH

By Ted Belman

Obama’s got some splaining to do.

Netanyahu, after kissing up to him, challenged him toe to toe. There were a lot of memorable lines like “the enemy of your enemy is your enemy”. “This deal doesn’t prevent Iran from getting the bomb, it paves the way”. The choice isn’t between this deal and war, its between this deal and a better deal”

He stressed that both ISIS and Iran want to dominate the world. To give Iran a bomb is the same as giving ISIS a bomb. (my words)

He reminded Americans how Iran kept dozens of Americans hostage, blew up over 200 Marines in Beirut and killed or maimed thousands of American soldiers in Iraq.

Obama put out a video in which he rebutted Bibi arguments quite effectively. His best point was that Bibi did not offer an alternative. As soon as I can get a link, I will post it.

Destruction and murder is your first choice, of course it is -fits you very well
    ..
I don’t think this ideology can sustain any civilization even your ideal which is the civilization of “religious Jews who live in Israel and agree and do as Yamit says”. And I think that ideal of yours is also predicated on the elimination of all other human beings which you do not grant human being status..
But even at that your ideology cannot sustain the civilization that would be left -what you turn outwards , you turn inwards.

    Message for you Maxine

  3. @ yamit82:

The only other system is fascism or it’s extreme which is totalitarianism which are the systems you support. An Israel under Yamitism would be just as bad under Islamofascism. You would end up giving everyone lobotomies in order to control them and that is everyone -when a person adopts abuse as ideology they end up making no distinction as to whom is the object of abuse – you have no allies.

Full democracy, political and economic has never been implemented in the West. Like anything that exists you can make it work or work to undermine it – given your attitudes towards basic humanity you couldn’t possibly know what it is except that it it is something that threatens your fascistic ideology and solipsist world view.

Alas for Democracy, and human freedom – the economic system is in direct conflict with the principles of the foundation of the USA. It is similar in Europe – they adopted Democracy but inherited feudal lords in control of the wealth.. In the West internally freedom fights Fascism and fascism is predominant.

Democracy is a form of government in which power ultimately comes from the people who are governed, whether through direct voting or through elected representatives. A democracy can range from a liberal direct democracy to an illiberal totalitarian democracy.

I do not say that democracy has been more pernicious on the whole, and in the long run, than monarchy or aristocracy. Democracy has never been and never can be so durable as aristocracy or monarchy; but while it lasts, it is more bloody than either. … Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to say that democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious, or less avaricious than aristocracy or monarchy. It is not true, in fact, and nowhere appears in history. Those passions are the same in all men, under all forms of simple government, and when unchecked, produce the same effects of fraud, violence, and cruelty. When clear prospects are opened before vanity, pride, avarice, or ambition, for their easy gratification, it is hard for the most considerate philosophers and the most conscientious moralists to resist the temptation. Individuals have conquered themselves. Nations and large bodies of men, never.

Pelosi was crying because of being subjected to forced deprogramming.
The anti-war libleft are always outraged by the truth- they have their personal identity wired firmly to delusions.

You have so much in common with The delusional American left.

Both Insane and both delusional. Deprogramming???? Lobotomy would be my first choice.

    @ Max:
    Free BAD Press!

No, There is no free mainstream press anywhere I know of. I support free voices of the people even bad press I don’t like – because this we (the people ) can argue with and give opposing POV in a free forum.

There is no press that has the voices of the people – all are telling the people what to think.
This “Bad press” for sure represents some monied class, a part of the elite – how big and who I’d like to know but generally the idea that ideology drives politics is wrong – big business creates ideology, owns the press and drives politics.
Exceptions to the rule are when there are existential threats such as Iran/Obama Administration against the survival of Israel. In this case then some of the press , or some portion of it may represent the voices of the people.

And other..it’s not all so clear cut but the general principle stands – the elite have the best Free Press that money can buy…
    ——

And while we are at it , people here lose track of the fact that the image of Obama is not “Obama” ie this is nothing personal.
This is shown when they say or make personal attacks on a personality named “Obama”.
Obama’s administration policies on such as Cuba and Iran represent the interests of a large part of the American business elite. They expect to gain substantial profit from the execution of such policies as:
eg Cuba – trade and commerce
eg Iran – do oil business and mass commerce with the Islamic over the corpse of Israel which they regard as more profitable option.
    .
The profits of what are essentially families of pirates or warlords drives world politics. Profits long term and historically accumulated obtained from genocide, murder, exploitation, slavery and serfdom.

Alas for Democracy, and human freedom – the economic system is in direct conflict with the principles of the foundation of the USA. It is similar in Europe – they adopted Democracy but inherited feudal lords in control of the wealth.. In the West internally freedom fights Fascism and fascism is predominant.

  8. @ yamit82:

If she’s insulted to the point of tears, Netanyahu managed to do what he set out to do.

So the leading Democrat is reduced to sputtering crying? What else can she say?

If we cut through all the crap, basically the “deal” that Obama wants to offer the Iranian Islamofascists is that Iran can build as many nukes as it wants just as long as it promises only to use them against Israel.

Pelosi: That Netanyahu speech was so insulting, it nearly left me in tears

With all that botox, her eyes tear?

    From Haaretz

Netanyahu presents Congress with a warped view of the Mideast
Haaretz is warped – why do the Israelis tolerate this seditious dishrag to exist?

Netanyahu is warped but not the genocidal ayatollah. Haaretz, thanks for giving us a window into the Israeli Left’s sick soul.

  12. Obama’s crew and Obama friendly , Israel-hating media reacted extremely hostile. So did the Israeli media outlet media Haaretz – I really wonder who really owns this dishrag.
Obama and crew are determined to sell out the West – all the time lying to us and portending “they got it covered” – if they succeed they are covering us in dirt.
History will vindicate Bibi though it may be the history that ends history.

  13. @ ArnoldHarris:

Please forgive me Arnold. I was relying on my obvious faulty memory of previous posts. And yes I know you don’t live on Mt. Sinai (unless it’s been moved to Wisconsin). I was referring to the fact that Horeb is the other name the Torah refers to Mt. Sinai that isn’t well known.

  14. @ Yidvocate:

    YVC:

Thanks for the compliment. But if it is me whom you refer to as a “righteous gentile”, I must tell you that I have been a Jew from the eighth day of my life, when my father and mother duly had me undergo the Brit HaMila expected of all Jewish males since the time of Avraham Avinu. In any case, I am a loyal Zionist, a conservative American, and now and then, I put forth the effort to be righteous.

Also, while I did in fact climb Mount Sinai early one morning in July 1974, I reside some five miles outside the village of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, as indicated in my signature which accompanies all my comments. Yes, I know “Mount Horeb” refers to Mount Sinai, but I think the Norwegian-American families that predominate around the village would not know much about that.

  15. I think it was the best speech Netanyahu has ever delivered.

I don’t think the White House’s rebuttal showed it understood that the alternative was not between a bad deal and war but between a better deal and war.

The deal can be improved significantly by tying Iran’s desire for nuclear status through a change in either the regime’s behavior or nature.

An Iran that is rewarded for its aggression, imperial overreach and genocidal proclivities will never moderate.

Iran needs to change before its admitted to the family of nations.

  16. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s speech to today’s extraordinary joint session of the Congress of the United States has been about historical as it can get, and yes indeed, he already is being compared with Sir Winston Churchill whose courage and steadfastness captured the hearts and minds of America during the darkest hours of Great Britain facing Hitler’s Nazi Germany alone.

My wife and I watched the entirety of the session, the speech, and the triumph that America’s Senate and House of Representatives accorded Mr Netanyahu. I think that great Congress — and not just the Republican memberships of the two houses, will move to reverse Mr Obama’s policy of appeasement of Iran’s crazed and thoroughly dangerous ayatollist leadership. Mr Netanyahu has presented an utterly convincing argument that, if that Iranian leadership is allowed to enrich its uranium stockpile, that irrespective of any promises the Iranians make, some of those nuclear weapons will be used not just against Israel, but also against the United States, along with growing terrorism which they sponsor all across the world.

All things considered, I think Mr Obama — with or without explaining — will have significant difficulties dealing with this Congress for his remaining 22 months in office. It is too early to speculate on removal from office by congressional impeachment. But Mr Netanyahu has planted seeds of great concern and even open alarm in the American consciousness. And Mr Obama’s ways of administering office tends to block out dissenting opinions. That, as a matter of fact, is his particular Achilles heel. Stay tuned, because major changes may well be coming in Washington.

It goes almost without saying, I think, that Mr Netanyahu has more than earned the coalition that he should now be able to build in Jerusalem following the Knesset election two weeks from today. I also think that consideration was not what was uppermost in Mr Netanyahu’s mind when he accepted the offer of Congressman as Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner’s invitation.

This great day, I am filled with pride as a Jew, as a Zionist, and as an American conservative. Maybe there is hope for all of us. HaShem, thank you. Thank you for today, and for the mitzvot that have kept alive your Jewish nation.

  17. A very good detailed speech! Last night on MSM the clip showing this upcoming speech was very biased. We need to keep an eye on MSM because that is where the majority get their news from.

What are they going to say about it tonite?

  18. PM Netanyahu is the Winston Churchill of our time! How weak and naive Obama looks in comparison.
    Bravo Bibi!
