    I agree with Edgar G

    Actually, Edgar states that

    I support him 100^%

    whereas you suggest that

maybe we should all be very careful what we wish for.

In fact, the Hashemites are completely antithetical to Israel, and if they could successfully do today that which they have failed to do in many wars, they would do so in a New York minute. This has been clearly stated by former members of the Hashemite govt as to being their position, irregardless of any treaty or claim of peace which only exists due to the strength of the Israeli army. Additionally, we know that the Hashemites were involved in the transfer of guns and gold to support the ongoing slaughter of Jews last year when their emissary was caught red handed doing so. More than this, Abdullah was responsible for triggering the May 2021 War of Riots and Rockets, in which his faux claims that Israel was preventing access to the Holy sites led to a coordinated attack by Hamas and the Israeli Arabs. Additionally, even today, Abdullah’s wife is conducting a charm campaign to marginalize the Simchat Torah Massacre, a campaign she curiously launched three days before October 7. Perhaps the most egregious of attacks by the Hashemites against Israel, however, was the crime against humanity which they committed when they revoked the citizenship of the Pals back in 1988, weaponizing them as a stateless cleft for which Israel has been saddled by the international community to find a resolution.

It is long past time for Israel to start seeking solutions to the problem of the Pal Cleft, and whereas Mudar provides such a solution, the devil we know in the form of the Hashemites created that problem, and has acted to actively weaponize it against Israel in defiance of their treaty obligations and international law. In contrast, Mudar offers us a unique opportunity to deal with the problem of the Pals in a meaningful and serious way, one which, among many other benefits, places the onus of citizenship for the Pals on Jordan rather than Israel. Notably, the issue of the stateless status of the Pals has been the basis of the existing rift between the Left and Right in Israel, between the TSS and extending autonomy over our ancient homelands. It has also been the basis of the BDS movement and the associated illegitimate international condemnation against Israel. Hence, if Mudar should fail in his attempts to displace the Hashemites, it will mean that the Pals will forever remain to be entirely a problem for Israel to resolve, and that would be a sizeable defeat for Israel.

Before October 7, Mudar stood as an important possibility for Israel to extricate itself from the follies of the pre October 7 conceptions which gave any credence to the TSS. Yet, in the post October 7 period he stands as an essential solution to the resolved consensus in Israel that the TSS means the utter destruction of the Jewish state.

Additionally, Mudar’s rise to power will result in many other benefits beyond just the return of Jordanian citizenship to the Pals, but if this is all that came from his success, it would be a monumental victory for both Israel and the Pals.

So I would caution against arguing that what we are discussing is the devil we know vs the devil we don’t. Instead, I would argue that we are left with a choice of dealing with this problem or of continuing to pretend that we can ignore this problem exists. The old conception is gone, and we can no longer dream the dreams which led to the October 7 slaughter. Mudar is our chance to deal with this problem, and I hope and trust that the time is right for him to replace our enemies who rule in Jordan, for they truly are our enemies.

Quite simply, Mudar’s victory will be our victory, just as his defeat will surely be our defeat. Hence, it is only reasonable that we wish him every success.

All kinds of claims and predictions have been made for many years and so far absolutely nothing has transpired. And part of me wonders if it necessarily should’ve, if maybe we should all be very careful what we wish for. Sometimes the devil we know really is better than the one we don’t, something often not realized until it’s too late to turn back the clock (eg. Sadaam, Gaddafi, Mubarak)

So far nothing he’s said or posted has come true. I still have hopes and I support him 100^%
BUT more clarity is needed and a visible act indicating the dissolution of the Kinglet and his coterie.

His post, which was weak and said nothing, would have been much better “unsaid”.

  4. My best wishes travel with you Mudar. May you pass from strength to strength as you inspire a revolution among your people which will benefit the entire region with a better tomorrow.

  5. Insha’Allah! For the good of the Arabs, Israelis, Israeli Arabs, and the entire region, may your prophecy come true, Mudar.
