MKs Urged to Establish Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria

‘Now is the time to present to the world the ethical, Zionist, realistic alternative to the two-state solution,’ .

By Tova Dvorin, INN

JEW FLAGIsrael already began taking steps against the Palestinian Authority (PA) on Friday, after Ramallah applied to fifteen international organizations for legitimacy and torpedoed peace talks.

But at least one group proposes that the government take a step beyond sanctions, by using the opportunity to reclaim full sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

To that end, Women in Green (WIG) sent a strongly worded letter to Knesset MKs Friday, proposing that Israel move away from the 1993 Oslo Accords and the notion of a Palestinian state.

“We are sending this appeal to you at one of the rarest moments of opportunity that history has ever presented to Israeli policy makers,” the letter reads. “We, members of the Women in Green movement, along with people both from Israel and the world at large who love the Land of Israel, appeal to you now, before this discussion takes place, with the belief that the collapse of the negotiations with the Palestinian Authority presents to the entire Jewish people and to you as statesmen of vision and faith, a rare moment in which Israel can retake control of the process and steer our policy away from the dangerous scenario leading us all to the precipice of terror that a Palestinian state in the heart of the Land of Israel would represent.”

“The Palestinians’ appeal to the UN is another flagrant violation of the wretched Oslo Accords and many other agreements on which they have signed and to which they have committed in the past,” it continues. “This violation allows Israel formally to free herself from previous unfavorable agreements that have been forced upon her in dubious and subversive ways by irresponsible politicians.”

Tell the world: the PA cannot be trusted

WIG also urged the Knesset to alert the international community to the severity of the PA’s ‘breach of contract,’ so to speak, in the negotiating process, by revealing ‘the deception that lies behind Palestinian policy.’

“With a suitable Israel advocacy effort, we can prove to the world the futility of continuing a discussion with a Palestinian partner who deceitfully speaks of peace but sows terror,” the letter states.

“Now is the time to present to the world the ethical, Zionist, realistic alternative to the two-state delusion – the vision of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. This vision is backed up by Jewish history, justice and international law, as was proven by the report issued by Judge Edmund Levy.”

“This is the time to present a clear vision, and even if it is complex and presents various challenges, these challenges would be nothing compared to those that would be presented by the establishment of a terror state in the cradle of the Jewish People,” it continues. “When the leaders of Israel can present this clear vision, the vision of clinging to the land and applying sovereignty in it, they will find that the people support them with determination and faith in the justice of our cause, and when the people unite around such a vision, victory will surely follow.”

Sovereignty now

The letter concludes by urging Israel to establish unilateral sovereignty over the Jewish homeland.

“The necessity of presenting sovereignty as a political vision is independent of the Palestinians’ deceptive course and mirages,” it says. “The leaders of Israel must take initiative and lead the way.”

Women in Green launched a renewed campaign for sovereignty earlier this year, after rumors began circling that a framework agreement in peace talks would include land swaps for a Palestinian state.

The letter echoes calls by several MKs over the past week for Israel to respond strongly to the PA’s violation of the terms of talks, specifically by breaking the Oslo Accords and refusing to release more terrorists.

  2. @ David Chase:

I’ll try to spell it out phonetically–Hisdamnut

    Hizdamnut…
Like this distraught lady describing to the police officer how she was almost raped
The police officer trying to get his spelling right, is asking her… “Ansu. With samackh?”
To which she replies screaming “no! With z!!!

Sorry honeybee no translation here…. 😉

  3. @ David Chase:
I wanted to elaborate on my own comment. I think the idea of sanctions and withholding taxes is a bit of a junior high school reaction- you did this so I’ll do that. The whole discussion smacks of avoidance- that is the avoidance, for some reason, of the annexation process. The only understanding that I can come to- to figure out why there would be any resistance at all now with the great opportunity the PA has given us is that those in charge are possibly still holding out on some Two-State solution themselves. The TTS delusions may not have only effected the EU and the rest of the international community but could still be effecting our leadership- otherwise why would they propose ONLY sanctions as a response to the PA’s blatant abrogation of Oslo. The sanctions are clearly reversible. Annexation wouldn’t be. Ted, since you don’t have Hebrew writing on the site I’ll try to spell it out phonetically–Hisdamnut. an opportunity. We don’t want to start saying to ourselves that the government of Israel never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Do we?

First cleanse the land then annex. Works better.

I prefer that but deem it impossible at this time as I doubt a majority of israelis would engage transfer. Therefore, I think it is necessary to come up with something that has a chance of being bought by Israelis(I am not considering foreign reaction). I think the major stumbling block, at this time, is that Israelis do not want to absorb or rule the arabs. If C is annexed then the few arabs can either be left in their current status or given israeli citizenship or paid to leave(for CA 🙂 ) I would leave A+ as is for now but not finalize any agreement that transfer sovereignty over the land or prevents full annexation in the future. this would be kicking the can down the road on absorbing the arabs. Most of the other issues are automatically answered with the annexation of C. I must distinguish between my desire for A & T, which I believe to be practical, and what I beleive the Israelis might accept and reject. I beleive they will reject transfer at this time but would be willing to leave A+ in the status quo for now. I consider the Israelis to be the main stumbling block to annexation and transfer and the arabs, EU UN and US to be practical and solvable problems over the long term. Under any approach Israel must be ready for BDS but I do not believe that will be mitigated by how much Israel gives away.

Yes, we can have a FANTASTIC GARDEN without the shadow of a doubt. But before talking about where should the roses be planted , ALL the weeds, must be removed.

Although I agree in principle, it is unlikely that all the weeds can be removed at once. Therefore, any realistic solution must take into account obstacles thrown in the way by the corrupt

    the phoenix Said:

Israel has (mistakenly) shown the musloids how humane it is and that they have nothing to fear…

I don’t believe this is the problem. israel is seen to be a divided nation and the arabs inside and nearby exploit these divisions. They rely more on Israeli institutions for redress than international institutions. It is the Israelis who are not properly spoken to in one language.

-Israelis appear to not even be aware that their claims are legal, moral and legitimate by any reasonable measure
-Israelis appear unaware of the detailed history of the swindles employed primarily by the europeans to cheat Israel out of its lands and prevent the nation of Israel from emerging.
-Israelis appear to be unaware of the connections and motivations of the europeans, and their BDS supersessionist churches, and how these motivations have maintained a covert agenda of moral support and funding for orgs whose mission is to kill jews and drive them into the sea. Israelis appear unaware that these entities have an existential interest in the failure of the Jews in Israel. israelis are unaware of the network of connections funding and propagating the modern equivalent of the christian blood libels which preceded and initiated european pogroms and slaughter and WHO is behind them.

In order to make decent choices at the polls and in referendums, Israels must be equipped with the basis knowledge necessary to making the right choices. Therefore, their education in schools and the media is of the gravest importance. Ignorance appears to be the vehicle which allows the continuing corruptions and improper choices. the GOI, Jewish orgs and Jewish wealthy need to be involved in funding and delivering the facts of reality to Jews and Israelis.

    the phoenix Said:

“we need to put them on buses and dump them to walk across the Allenby bridge” …(+/-)

Although I have always been for annexation with transfer I avoided the allenby bridge, in the near future, due to existing treaties. I have always suggested busses to any border that does not have the benefit of a peace agreement with Israel(Syria, Lebanon, gaza)

However, one must always delineate between what one desires and what can be achieved. Although I believe A & T to be legally, morally and practically achievable and sustainable as a total solution, I do not believe that in the short term Israelis would agree to transfer. I do not agree with the prognostications of absorbing the arabs into the one state and giving citizenship. I think it is a ticking time bomb for jews and an unnecessary consideration based entirely on satisfying world opinion rather than the actual problem as it relates to the Jews.
the Jews desire sovereignty over all of Israel and therefore there should never be a pal state with full sovereignty. I suggest to annex C and parts of B and leave A+ in the status quo until agreements can be reached. If a permanent agreement is reached the PA could operate with limited autonomy as some sort of subordinate principality of israel. they can vote for their local self governments and administrate themselves subject to Israeli approval and supervision, like today. israel has no responsibility or obligation to create a pal state. This should never have been agreed to and had no legal precedent behind the motivation and pressure. This should be backtracked away from and the pal breaching Oslo, now without question, is the opportunity of a lifetime. Any problems from the pals should meet immediate deportation and where feasible arrest for terrorism for past crimes including a recalcitrant Abbas, which would cause many to leave quickly.

If one makes two basic assumptions, sovereignty over all of Israel and no citizenship to the arabs, then the status quo or a semi autonomous entity within Israel suggests itself. One should devise the structure where transfer and absorbing the entity fully into Israel are optional in the future at Israels choice.
    the phoenix Said:

There is a limit to how long a can can be kicked down the road…..

realism and leadership determine realistic choices that are the best at the moment. For me, the first thing is that unless the choice is better then there is no reason for change to the status quo. If it is a choice between a worse situation and the status quo then I choose the status quo until new opportunities arise. A leader in israel must more than anything else take into consideration the positions of Israelis. if a leader cannot achieve full annexation of YS due to the majority of Israelis being unwilling to choose that option then it makes no sense to pursue that option at the present time. I believe that there is a possible option to annex most of C using the opportunities presented by the pal UN apps and the death of Oslo. I believe that Israelis who buy into the settlement blocks could also buy into all of C if shown that there is no reason why the arab rather than the Jews should get C, which has a majority population Jewish. all of the issues of ruling 1.5 million new arabs would be a can to kick down the road, which would make annexation more palatable to Israel. I would be clear that annexation did not waive claims to A+ which would remain under Israeli control pending future new agreements whether permanent or merely operational.

The musloids understand and RESPECT the language of force. Only!

The notion of reaching peace through good-faith negotiations is a rationalist fantasy. All nations were created in bloodshed and are sustained by power; anything on paper is irrelevant. Israel cannot be built on agreements with the Arabs. International agreements are the legal by-products of inhumane military victories.

  7. Former Israeli Ambassador Pins Dead Peace Process on American Wishful Thinking, Says Kerry ‘Smothered in a Middle East Sandstorm’ (INTERVIEW)

He had another Texan analogy he said he wanted to share with the world powers:
“When Americans, Europeans, urge us to sign an agreement, and through that agreement, to concede, and retreat, and appease,” Ettinger began,
”the Texans would tell you, don’t kiss a chicken until it grows lips.”

A while back it was suggested on this forum that “we need to put them on buses and dump them to walk across the Allenby bridge” …(+/-)

When trying to achieve results (read: bring the other side to understand and embrace tour point), it is totally futile to talk (and worse yet) and to keep on talking while maintaining a Complete lack of awareness as to 1. Am I achieving the results I was hoping to achieve… 2. Am I being understood….

I dare say that there is NO CLEAR DEFINITION OF ANYTHING!!!!
When the enemy is not clearly defined (musloids living in Israel, Judea and Samaria) and instead, he is painted with a wishful thinking brush…this leads to confusion (big time!!!)
When the true defenders of Judaism are treated as TERRORISTS (how. f****g. Sick. Is. That. ???), and outlaws….
    Why. Bother. To do ANYTHING.???
There is a limit to how long a can can be kicked down the road…..
    And 40 years…. Is a long time…

Luck of understanding of the adversary and inability to speak his language…are the raw materials that were used to create this present pathetic situation.
In any dealership in anywheresville the dimmest salesperson will not start to blabber about a random car to a client that walked in without trying to understand what is it that he/she wants.
And after he has found out what it is he switches to talk THAT LANGUAGE!!!!
    And ONLY that language.

Israel has (mistakenly) shown the musloids how humane it is and that they have nothing to fear… The musloids have quickly understood that and now, THEY, the friggin’ losers, are terrorizing the victors….
The musloids understand and RESPECT the language of force. Only!
They had it too good, for too long.
It is time for a diametrically different approach.
Once again. We did not arrive to where we are today suddenly as a random event. This is the sum total of previous administrations, more concerned with ‘what will the goyim say than what is good for the Jews.
If you keep doing what you did (maintain and keep this pathetic and corrupt leadership) you’ll just keep on getting what you’ve got ….

Yes, we can have a FANTASTIC GARDEN without the shadow of a doubt. But before talking about where should the roses be planted , ALL the weeds, must be removed.
    With abandon.

  9. I am afraid that the opportunity to annex C will be destroyed by rendering the choices to be only the settlement blocks or all YS. those Israelis who do not want to absorb the arabs in A & B might go for C as it is majority Jewish with a lot less arabs. these 2 choices only may split the choice and favor keeping major settlement blocks only.

If the world sanctions because of annexation Israel can declare that it will also annex a & b but not make them citizens and consider them foreigners belonging in gaza or jordan. On any annexation of a & b there should be a pre declaration that arab war criminals and terrorists will be prosecuted for past crimes and the militias will probably leave on their own.

  10. David Chase Said:

In and of itself it is probably not a good idea

I agree, it gets nothing lasting and appears as a tit for tat silliness. Deduct their debts from their duties and annex C. the annexation of C is the correct response to the pal unilateral claim of area C and more. It is the Israel legitimate counter move that protects Israels interests in the area now under its control. Leaving A and parts of B in the status quo demonstrates Israels good will in not unilaterally annexing the arab population and allowing them limited self-determination subject to security considerations and future agreements.
Financial sanctions appear to be a red herring to avoid what should be the real response. Financial sanctions without annexation once more would reinforce the pal narrative that they as opposed to the Jewish majority, are the rightful owners of C. Annexation of C demonstrates that Israel refuses to allow Jews to be subject to arab or international rule while not subjugating the major arab population. Arabs in C should maintain their current citizenship status until further investigation and should be encouraged to leave.. the main thing is to cast it as a reaction to the pals abandoning Oslo, as the only possible reaction.

  11. The smarter move is to annex C now and leave A & B in the status quo. area C has a jewish majority and can even weather a self determination vote. The detractors would want to keep C combined with A & B in order to tout the violation of the UN member agreed principle of self determination. Unless the arabs of A & B are being immediately transferred it makes sense to keep that area in the status quo limbo. This can be dealt with later through war, financial incentives, voluntary emigration based on a poor economy, allowing free movement out but not back, etc etc. Israel, or a separate Jewish entity representing world jewry, should continue to claim A & B under the rights of jewish settlement under international law. Israel can claim to remain as overseer of A & B to protect the rights of world Jewry there. In any case finalizing C is a grand opportunity that can be presented first as a move for Israel to protect its interests, Jews and security as a reaction to the pals rendering Oslo dead.

  12. I wanted to comment on the article preceding this, although they are tied, questioning the idea of imposing various kinds of “sanctions” on the Palestinians. In and of itself it is probably not a good idea since the quid pro quo doesn’t really get us anything BUT we could do it by keeping in mind that after the international community etc. screams we then voluntarily cease the sanctions and then call instead for Sovereignty. At that point it might be seen as a more palatable response.

  13. I support the extension of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria along with the dissolution of the PA.

This is the only way to guarantee Israel’s security, ensure the development of every part of Israel and end the status of J&S being in eternal limbo.

A fear of what would the world say and Arab opposition must not deter Israel from exercising its national rights.

The only way to drain the life out of the BDS movement and the Arab delegitimization war against Israel is to scrap the Oslo Accords and the dangerous vision of an unworkable so-called two state solution.

Now is the time for Israel to get back on track in fulfilling the Zionist dream – that is its destiny.
