Michael Flynn to Newsmax TV: Trump Has Options to Secure Integrity of 2020 Election

By Solange Reyner , NEWSMAX   |   Thursday, 17 December 2020 08:27 PM

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn says President Donald Trump has options to make sure the integrity of the 2020 election remains intact, including seizing voting machines around the country and using military capabilities to rerun elections in swing states.

”I don’t know if he’s going to take any of these options. The president has to plan for every eventuality because we cannot allow this election and the integrity of our election to go the way it is,” Flynn said Thursday during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s ”Greg Kelly Reports.’

”This is just totally unsatisfactory. There’s no way in the world we’re going to be able to move forward as a nation with this. …

”He could immediately on his order seize every single one of these machines around the country on his order. He could also order, within the swing states, if he wanted to, he could take military capabilities and he could place them in those states and basically rerun an election in each of those states. It’s not unprecedented,” Flynn added.

The Pentagon earlier this month dismissed nine Defense Business Board members and replaced them with 11 new appointments, including Trump loyalists Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie. Scott O’Grady, another appointee, shared conspiracy theories on Twitter that called the president’s loss to President-elect Joe Biden a ”coup.” He also voiced approval for martial law.

Flynn says the notion isn’t new.

”These people out there talking about martial law like it’s something we’ve never done,” Flynn told Kelly. ”Martial law has been instituted 64 times. I’m not calling for that. We have a constitutional process. … That has to be followed. But I will tell you I’m a little concerned about Chief Justice John Roberts at the Supreme Court. We can’t fool around with the fabric of the Constitution of the United States.”

Trump pardoned his former national security adviser last month, ending a yearslong prosecution in the Russia investigation that saw Flynn twice plead guilty to lying to the FBI. As with the recent election results, the president has called the Russia probe a long-running hoax.

  1. @ peloni1986:

    Thank you very much, peloni1986.
If I were on Trump’s team, I would have him on every television and Internet program offering his catalog of evidence. Just as if he were a guest on Shark Tank. I would show a typical news room of experts talking about the ‘unproven’, ‘unsubstantiated’, ‘debunked conspiracy theories’ of this ‘fraudulent election’ and have Trump walk out onto to newsroom floor with a catalog for each participants and a well conceived twenty second message. That is:
Since people, by and large with the exception of Virologists have attention spans of 20 seconds max, Trump could be highlighting different aspects of the evidence, sometimes in general and sometimes in fine detail and then let people know where they can get the full catalog.
It can also be an interactive program. It should have accurate closed captioning, repeating where the entire catalog can be acquired.
Well, back to the same Viorology Lecture I have been trying to understand after 12 attempts often ending in a nap. I’m almost up to lecture # 10.

  2. @ Wooly Mammoth:
    Hi Wooly

I think you have a great idea about organizing a catalog documenting how much evidence is present in all of these states.

The evidence is present in the lawsuits. You can look at the lawsuits presented by Powell/Wood and Giuliani/Ellis. These lawsuits are freely available online. The evidence is discussed in the body of the lawsuit but the evidence itself is presented as the attached exhibits in these lawsuits.

Unfortunately, the idea of where is the evidence has been used as a common propaganda theme by both Democrats and Republicans who would gladly see the end of President Trump – and, sadly, propaganda works. Honestly, if the facts of the ballot stuffing videos in Fulton County GA , the cardboard across windows in Michigan, and ballots being counted by machines at faster rates than the machines can count aren’t evidence enough of pervasive fraud, I am at a loss for words. And that is ignoring the results of testing the machines in Anterim County Michigan or the vote flipping in Ware county GA and the, literally, thousands of affidavids that have been collected under penalty of perjury. The problem is not that there is no evidence, but that there is in fact so much evidence that it is blinding.

So I think your idea of disseminating a catalogi listing the evidence would be very helpful.

  3. @ Adam Dalgliesh:

Let Trump publish a document with a title, table of contents, footnotes, index and glossary etc entitled Evidence of…..etc and send it to every frigging media, every journalist around the world, instead of this cheesy sensationalist tabloid style news leaks with Rudy giving Cigar commercials.
Present it on tv commercials and provide free copies on the Internet for all people everywhere. Even Crown Heights. Send Al Sharpton a personal signed copy.
Plaster the outside wall of the White House with the entire document.

  4. Ok, the Republicans control the US Senate. What is keeping the US Senate from entering all of the evidence into the congressional record and using this evidence to form a Commission of Inquiry? Who decides whether the evidence is evidence. Don’t tell me, it depends on what the meaning of “is” is. Puke/Barf.
I just can not believe there is no formal recourse for a sitting President.
If this is true and there is no recourse, we could be looking at Civil War, in the future. That is in the best interests of no one. Therefore, there is a mechanism for a sitting President to prove he or she won the election.

  5. @ Wooly Mammoth: Wooly, he already has submitted the proof in press conferences and interviews. Also, in the few hearings that have been held by the legislatures of a few states. But the courts have refused to let him present the evidence in court, and so far the Congress has not permitted him to present the facts to a congressional comittee.

  6. Here are my suggestions for how Trump could give himself a fighting chance to have a second term as President, in ways that would not offend his conscience (he does have one, unlike many policians) and would only enhance his popularity and influence, even if he does lose the Congressional showdown.

*Put Heavy pressure on the Justic eDepartment, after Barr leaves, to indict Hunter Biden, and also Joe Biden, and other members of the Biden crime family. Yes, the charges will be dismissed if Biden becomes President. If. But he might not become President if a fire-eating Justice Department attorney holds a press conference to lay out the evidence against them, and also defend the indictment in open court. Yes, some judge may try to quash the indictment, but up until January 19, the Justice department can appeal such an order.

*The appointment of a special prosecutor to prosecute the Biden family, which a number of people have suggested, may be a good idea.

*Probably fire Christopher Wray at the FBI and replace him with a true Trump loyalist. I read somewhere that Trump’s White House staff lawyers are pleading with him not to do this, claiming this will get him introuble. I have no idea what their reasoning is. Trump seems utterly engulfed by swamp creatures, even in his own close entourage.

    * Continue to hold rallies and mass demonstrations everywhere, continuing to denounce the fraud right up to Jan. 6. Especially, organize a huge crowd to demonstrate out Congress on the 6th, just as the Congress is assembling.

It will be OK to loudly boo the Democrats as they enter the Capitol, especially Nancy Pelosi , who will be so angry and upset by it that she will be thrown off balance and will rage and act badly when she has to chair the House caucus, angering even her fellow Democrats.

*On the other hand, vigorously court the Colorado congressional delegation, including the Democrats who are members of the delegation. The Colorado Democrats are a weak link in the Democrats’ chain of command. iEven some Democrats in the state legislature and Congress have expressed dconcern about the election being rigged. They are especially concerned about Kamala Harris’s support for “defund the police” programs. Nearly all Coloradoans of both parties support the police.

*Any “dirt” that Republican researchers can dig upp about Kemala, especially her alleged support for the defend the police movement and the BLM antifa insurrectionists, would be highly desireable. An information campaign about this, especially in Colorado, will be very helpful.

*I have heard that the Colorado legislature is actually holding hearings about the election fraud. This should not only be encouraged, but efforts should be made to televise them. Maybe by local Colorado TV and Newsmax.

*Persuade the Teamsters to go on strike for higher wages as well as to protest the rigged election. They are being ground down by inflation and unemployment. The Teamsters have been a Republican union for decades, and I think that many of them admire Trump and voted for him. Ask other workingmen who provide vital services , such delivering suppies to Amazon or food to supermarkets, to go on strike as well. Also the “hardhat” construction workers, who helped to break up the anti-war protests in the 1960s and 70s. It certainly can’t hurt him to recruit labor support, and position himself and the friend of the working men and women. and the foe of the “Fed” and the Wall Streeters and bankers who are the creating mass unemployment and inflation that are killing working people. (yes, there is severe inflation, although the government covers it up with phoney statistics. Most government statistics are fake and aim at covering up “inconvenient truths.”). He can become what Nixon called a “DIsraeli conservative,” who champions the cause of the working people and the unemployed even while also upholding traditional moral values. TRump is already a “Disraeli conservative” like Nixon, but he should now make this more obvious in a campaign to mobilize labor and immobilize the country’s industries until Congress sees reason. A tough tactic, but it does not require violence–certainly none on orders from Trump. If the Teamsters become overly rough, he can always appeal to them to remain calm and keep their tempers.

*Trump should not veto the military spending bill since at this point he may need the military’s support and obedience. There is no point in alienating the soldiers.

*On the other hand, he should veto the bill to continue government operations until February.. And he should veto the the so-called coronavirus relief bill if it contains more givaways to Wall Street and the banks and unless it does aid for the desperately poor, renters who can’t pay their rent, homeowners who can’t pay their mortgages, and struggling small landlords who cannot collect their rents from their broke tenants. These people all need help. Wall Street has received far more help than they need or deserve already. And many of Trump’s supporters are angry about this.

Unfortunately, Trump does not agree with these last three suggestions of mine, and instead apparently intends to do the opposite.

  7. @ Adam Dalgliesh:

The majority of The US Congress, as it is presently constituted, wil never, never help efforts by Trump to overturn this election.
Prove me wrong….I will eat my hat, like Babe Ruth.
No, Trump will have to find another way. How about proving the fraud
Submit the frigging proof. Enough talk.

  8. Trump would never even consider such a move. Even though he talks tough and exposes corruption to the public, his actions are always moderate and peaceful, and he always submits to court orders. He is a true man of peace.

In any case, what would happen if he did try to impose martial law as a “lame duck,” in order to force a change in the election results? It is not a viable option. The military is dominated by left-leaning generals with connections to the Democratic Party and the “swamp.” In fact, many of these generals are part of the swamp. Far from obeying such an order from Trump, they would probably take the occasion to “escort Trump out of the White House” The secret Democratic committee that made plans for ousting Trump after the elections actually had a contingency plan for such an operation. So perhaps they had already obtained secret promises from some generals to stage a coup or “counter-coup” against Trump.

Of course the courts, so unwilling to get involved on Trump’s behalf, would immediately intervene to issue an injunction against the martial law. The governors would probably breathe defiance and outrage, and would do their best to mobilize the “national” guard to oppose the martial law. This would lead to outright civil war between “loyalist” and rebel” national guardsmen, with heavy casualties.

Even so, the governors and other state officials would never agree to change the official election results. They would know that all they have to do to get rid of him is wait for Congress to meet and finalize Biden’s election.

Trump would loose nearly all of his popular support and all of his Congressional support if he tried anything like this. The people who support him are libertarians who are opposed to anything that smacks of dictatorship, especially one imposed by military force. Such a move would unite the entire country behind the Democrats and legitimize the Biden-Harris regime.

I do have a plan for how Trump could give himself a fighting chance to persuade Congress to change the election results. The Constitution does give Congress the right to do this if the majority of congressmen believe the election was rigged. I will unfold this plan in my next post.

  9. General Flynn is probably the most loyal officer in the US military; and he is fighting one of the most important battles in our history. He has my admiration and respect.
