Merkel’s Germany: an antisemitic terrorist state

It is time to call a spade a spade.

Some or a good number of the readers may or will find the heading to be an outrageous and gratuitous one.

Yet, facts speak for themselves.

It is my intention to demonstrate that the heading is indeed a timely one that must be addressed and that Merkel is indeed a homicidal antisemite while Germany is a terrorist state.

A general principle of the Canadian criminal law

A person can be criminally responsible as a member of a party acting together in the commission of an offence. In terms of guilt, there is no difference between an aider, abettor or principle to an offence. They are all equally culpable. More specifically, section 21 of the Criminal Code of Canada provides:

Parties to offence

s.21 (1) Every one is a party to an offence who

(a) actually commits it;

(b) does or omits to do anything for the purpose of aiding any person to commit it; or

(c) abets any person in committing it.

(2) Where two or more persons form an intention in common to carry out an unlawful purpose and to assist each other therein and any one of them, in carrying out the common purpose, commits an offence, each of them who knew or ought to have known that the commission of the offence would be a probable consequence of carrying out the common purpose is a party to that offence.

I am sure that this principle and similar provisions are operative in most, if not all, of the western countries, including Germany.

Antisemitism

Germany adopted the non-legally binding working definition of antisemitism formulated by the Plenary of Bucharest on May 26, 2016.This definition subsequently became known as the IHRA’s (the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance) working definition. The last I noted, IHRA had 33 member countries, one liaison country and eight observer countries.

In her foreign policy, Merkel honoured the definition in its breach. However, in the light of the political and academic controversies concerning the definition, I propose to use the empirical approach to demonstrate my point.

Question

How would you describe a country that has a history of consistently voting in favour of anti-Israel motions put forth during the deliberations of the various branches of the United Nations despite knowing that these motions are mendacious and, scurrilous premised on allegations that are not only devoid of factual foundation but contrary to irrefutable evidence?

To date, Germany voted in favour of around 60 motions and abstained in less than 10 instances, while refraining from voting against any of them. It has never spoken against the fact that some 78 % of the U.N. motions are directed against Israel.

And when it is not voting against Israel, Germany votes for motions, like the latest one at the UNSC originally intended an amendment of UNSCR Resolution 1701 to strengthen its mandate, put strong muscle into it to enable UNIFIL to carry out its original mandate in order to restrain and deter Hezbollah from provoking Israel with unconscionable military initiatives.  Instead Germany voted for a mealy mouth motion presented by France that did just about nothing to improve the situation for Lebanon, UNIFIL and least of all for Israel not to mention Lebanon.

Recently, Merkel solidly sided with the four members of the US. House of Representatives, to condemn President Trumps’ statement that that they should go back home to clean up the mess. Merkel did so without any qualifications or reservations or for that matter setting the matters in context by acknowledging the facts that the quartet is antisemitic, supports the BDS movement, which incidentally the Federal German Parliament has repudiated,-at least on paper, and keeps silent with regard to the homicidal attacks on Israelis.

Germany:  the antisemitic homicidal terrorist state

Ever since the signing of the Oslo Accords of 1993 and 1995, and inspired by the peace scheme set out in the Accords, Germany along with the EU states, among other countries, has been pushing the two state solution despite the overwhelming evidence adduced by the P.A. and Hamas that confirm beyond any reasonable doubt, the death of the scheme, which in effect occurred in 2000 with the commencement of the second Intifada.

The saga began when Merkel decided to view the inhabitants of the P.A. and Gaza as the “Palestinian people”, and refused to re-visit this stance. Obviously she did not bother to have a look at the flag of Palestine, which in 1939 was adorned with a Magen David at its centre. She maintained her stance despite the fact the substantial historical evidence and analysis published by scholars including Arab ones   that conclusively and positively rebut the existence of a Palestinian people.

By now, it is clear that the P.A has become a terrorist state by financially generously rewarding those who maim, and much preferably kill , innocent  civilian Israeli Jews and/or their dependents and tourists -not to mention the unprovoked killing of  military and law enforcement personnel. Such substantial rewards are paid to the terrorists who outlive their crimes, and in the case of death, to their dependents. In some instances, such as those of the terrorists involved in the 2003 bombing incident   that killed 16, it is periodically increased. Further, the P.A. names, some of the schools built with substantial regards donor money after terrorists who die on the job.

The Palestinians and their various organisations are also known to celebrate the wanton murders of Israelis, most recently those of a yeshiva student and of a 17 year old one, while for the P.A. refuses to condemn such killings.

Germany is also friend and cheer leader of Abbas and his coterie. About a week prior to the Markel’s most recent meeting with Abbas, the latter  declared at a refugee camp: “We will enter Jerusalem as ‘millions of fighters’; we reject  the ‘designation of our Martyrs as terrorists’-they are Martyrs of the homeland and not a single penny from their money will be deducted- they are the most sacred thing we have.”

Nevertheless, in August, Merkel met Abbas in Berlin and declared the two state solutions to be the only way for both people to live in peace and security. She also stood by Abbas while he proceeded to publicise the most laughable incredibly bizarre propositions.

Finally to top it all, Germany is one of the most generous benefactors of the PA whose aid in 2018 amounted to 100 million euros (about US$124.8 millions).

I submit that, on the general principle of criminal law enunciated above, Germany’s utter failure to  publicly condemn P.A.’s state sponsored ,promoted and rewarded  terrorist  enterprise ,and  more importantly,  its decision to keep donating  the P.A   these vast sums with the knowledge that  a part of these sums are used to finance the terrorist  enterprise makes Germany an antisemitic homicidal  terrorist state.

And it does not stop there. German state agencies have been providing funding to Palestinian organisations linked to terror, antisemitism, and other forms of hate and extremism. Markel’s Germany also annually spends 1.9 billion euros to finance the German Society for International  Co-operation(NIZ) that, in turn, channels the money to groups with ties to terrors groups that  spread antisemitism and promote  BDS campaigns.

And there is more. It has been amply demonstrated for quite some years by a number of authoritative studies, that the P.A uses text books directly and through UNWRA which indoctrinate students of all ages throughout the school system and their school years, to hate Israel and Israeli Jews, and incite them to engage in the P.A.’s version of remedial action, one of which is to conduct a terrorist enterprise.

As a matter of fact, in August, the 18 member United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) conducted a mandatory two day review of the policies and practices of the Palestinian Authority. At the conclusion of the hearing CERD  criticised the Palestinians, calling on Ramallah to combat “hate speech and incitement to violence” and expressed “concern”  about the statements by Palestinian officials , as well as in school  textbooks, that promote “hate speech against  Israelis, which it found, “fuels” hatred” and “may incite violence” and “antisemitism”.

Whether Merkel’s Germany will take these findings to heart and change its current policies remains to be seen. Based on the historical record, I very much doubt it.

Again, by behaving in the manner described above Germany is guilty of   knowingly financing this poisonous antisemitic educational enterprise.  .

In the light of the foregoing evidence which is not exhaustive, by any means, and in my reading of the law, Merkel’s Germany is an antisemitic terrorist state.

And while I am at it, applying the same reasoning, I contend that the policies of France and the European Union are of kindred spirit and deed.
