That is not the liberal bias of a benign interviewer- that is the owner and editorial director of the ShalomTV Jewish TV Channel, reform Connecticut Rabbi Mark Golub, who advocates his perspectives to the public about right and wrong, and what’s Jewishly sanctioned or what Asur, and who and what views are inside and who and what’s outside the pale – on national V.O.D. and regional linear cable in the Mid-Atlantic region and expanding.
As a former practicing American lawyer I found the hour-long interview with Professor Kontorovich very refreshing and informative. Professor Kontorovich methodically analyzed and articulated key issues we are constantly exposed to such as legal rights, international law, sovereignty, and occupation. I was educated by his historic explanation of the League of Nations Mandate of Palestine, the UN Partition Plan recommendations, the 1948-49 War of Independence armistice lines, and Israel’s administration of Judea and Samaria post 1967. Professor Kontorovich’s understanding of the record made his arguments logical and persuasive to more clearly and honestly view the current positions of Israel and the Palestinian Authority. I hope that the Israeli officials, especially in the Foreign Ministry, see this interview and seek Professor Kontorovich’s services once he arrives in Israel. We need a confident and polished spokesperson to advance our interests in the international arena with the truth. As for the host of the program, his periodic confrontations and questions showed a lack of clarity and misunderstanding of the facts to the pressing issues. His demeanor suggested an interest in promoting the myths of the Palestinian Arabs and opinions of the man on the street. I hope he got educated.

What did you expect?
The interviewer was obnoxious. I wrote to Kontorovich whom I know and asked him why he refrained from saying settlements were not illegal.
