T. BELMAN. On Dec 1/20 I wrote this article, Belman: Pres Trump will declare Martial Law if necessary.
Two people wrote to me to say they were horrified that I would recommend Martial Law even though I wrote, “If he fails on both counts (legislators and court), he will declare a national emergency relying on the Insurrection Act and will do so before Biden’s inauguration and if needs be, before his certification.”
On Friday Trump’s legal team got shot down in Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona and I think in Georgia and by Justice Alito.
I urge you to listen to the Zoom interview below in which I interviewed Tom Zawistowski, the person behind the movement to recommend Martial Law to enable a new election to take place.
I stand by my opinion that Martial Law is a better option than conceding defeat. What say you?

@ Ted Belman:
Thank you indeed.
@ Edgar G.:
Your post was in spam. I restored it.
@ Edgar G.:
I had one deleted the other day but I don’t mind; it was an unnecessary rambling mess of an addendum to an addendum. Whether intentional or not, I’ll just regard it as an edit. Apropos of nothing, what was the name of the 17th century Northern European traveler you mentioned, who published a survey of Eretz Israel which showed it was nearly all Jews and Christians? Had two aas in the name, I think. Doesn’t show up, googling. I didin’t know about him and it’s very important, hasbara-wise.
I had a long, detailed post printed here, which seems to have been deleted. I WOULD LIKE IT BACK PLEASE TED….!!
@ Michael S:
I personally, although 100% Jew, do not believe in all that crap. It was written for those particular times, already evolving, after the event(s), or obviously shortly occurring. There are documented accounts of some of those “prophets” taking drugs before “prophesying”, and many of their utterances, drugged or “clean” are so ambiguous as to used for pro or con arguments. And have been for centuries, when needed.
In another point, just as a comparison, read up on the succession of the High Priesthood, which was supposed to have been strictly descended from Zadok. I decided to do this being intrigued by the Hanukah prayer, beginning “bemay Matityahu, Ben Yochanan, Cohan Gadol, Hashmonai”… “In the days of Matityahu son of Jochanan, High Priest, Exalted One”…which was when the Maccabees took over both Kingship (supposed to be only descended from David) and High Priesthood.. They made many internal enemies because of this. My puzzle was, who was the High Priest, Matityau or Youchanan..and especially who was the Hashmon, from whom the Family reputedly descended, He’s have to also have been a High Priest…or of that Division 1 Priestly Family.
Anyway, I did a lot of research. It was MESS, in fact a series of messes. The lines of descent were broken numerous times and names were confused, repeated, kmissspelled etc. I was not able to trace Hashmon, which I’m certain was NOT a family name , but a title given to an especially noted person.
I had discussions on this with TWO Chief Rabbis of Ireland, eventually of the U.K, as well as a very prominent Dayan, and they were, all three, baffled..
@ Edgar G.:
Hi, Edgar.
Concerning who will be our president on 21 Jan., my wife and I are mainly concerned because:
1. If Biden wins, the international scene would likely start unraveling quickly, and we and loved ones may have to relocate, and
2. Whichever candidates win, I expect the winning side to instigate a massive purge of many actors and supporters.
Other than that, we are prepared for either scenario. Many people we know have been prophesying that Trump will win the counting and inauguration; but the MASSIVE Deep State psy-op certainly has made it seem otherwise. I am greatly encouraged by Millie Weaver’s comments. Now, to your other comments:
“…It’s because I feel that someone who goes into an ecstatic mental condition on religion, and details reams and reams, as if he just can’t stop, and suggests that the situation today is exactly like that which heralds “Armageddon” has a screw loose on that particular subject. And THAT makes me uncomfortable…”
You’re misreading me, I think. I claim to understand very little of the Bible. That is the very reason I prefer to directly quote scriptures, rather than tout some human understanding. “Armageddon” is generally considered to be “Har Megiddo”, though others have different opinions. Just as a matter of curiosity, the “Battle of Megiddo” is probably the most studied battle in the world, being taught to officer candidates since it is the first recorded battle describing in detail the topography and disposition of forces. I have no idea how it fits in with the general scheme of eschatology.
Most of what I sense about the “last days” (of this current corrupt world order) comes from a summation of scriptures throughout the OT and NT: That God is not mocked, and He will bring every deed to judgment — both of individuals, and of nations. He chastised Israel with over two thousand years of exiles, several slaughters and much hardship, correcting them as His children. That being the case, He will not neglect judging the rest of humanity. The only question is “When?” I believe it will happen soon, very soon. The world is filled with wickedness and violence, as in the days of Noah. The “West” in particular, resembles the worst behavior of Sodom, so that even the Muslims are scandalized by the things we do.
Concerning the “ecstasy”, Joel said,
Joel 1:
[28] And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Seeing that we’re both “old men”, and part of “all flesh” I think that includes you and me.
@ Michael S:
There’s a lot in what you say, and It may end just like that-although I hope not. We can only wait. As I’ve said elsewhere, there is NO good news coming out, as if they are marking time, until ready to re-engage in battle.
My objection is not for “an odd reason”. It’s because I feel that someone who goes into an ecstatic mental condition on religion, and details reams and reams, as if he just can’t stop, and suggests that the situation today is exactly like that which heralds “Armageddon” has a screw loose on that particular subject. And THAT makes me uncomfortable because otherwise I think you are an O.K. guy. I’m always bothered by someone who seems to have a “kink” on a serious subject..
I suppose you know that there is no such thing as Armageddon. It is a corruption of Har Megiddo, an actual hill in Israel. The term may have been given it’s “Doomsday” meaning because the fortified city of Megiddo was destroyed by Necho after killing King Josiah, who was a “good” king according to the Torah.. You see ancient Egyptian sculptures of the city with defenders falling over the walls with arrow stuck in them etc.. Much excavation is going on there and archaeologists are finding wonderful items.
It had existed for thousands of years, captured many times, but this last time was in a later historical time and was more relevant to the times of the Prophets who saw only woe looming, because of Josiah.. So that’s was was twisted by Christians into Armageddon..
@ Edgar G.:
“a ferment amongst the residents which should quickly translate into the Legislatures…….???!!:
I’ve seen no such thing, Edgar. This looks, to all intents and purposes, like our president’s Ides of March. You don’t like my quoting the Scriptures, for some odd reason, but suffice to say that this is the stuff of OT prophecies — which, for your sake, I will summarize: The whole head is sick; the whole land is corrupt from top to bottom. The shepherds are scattering the flock and feeding themselves; the whole land is filled with violence, etc. This is it: Alto, alto, finito!! From McConnell down, the Senate is sold out to the devil. Ditto for the state legislators, including most Republicans. Unless God gives men a heart of repentance, we can number the remaining days of this world order on our fingers — literally.
Concerning the border fence, here’s the story:
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/12/22/joe-biden-to-dismantle-trumps-legal-wall-inviting-central-americans-to-southern-border/
@ Edgar G.:
Yes, I remember reading that it was a pirate broadcast station in the beginning and the government kept trying to suppress it, if I am remembering correctly.
I remember Arutz 7 when it first came to attention. It was a radio broadcast from a ship gong up and down the coast. I could get it sometimes. Ketzeleh was deeply involved, which I didn’t realise at the time. .
I also heard Abie Nathan, Israel’s first Peacenik. He was very nice, but mashugga. He was an IAF pilot, and one day flew to Egypt to try to make peace with Nasser. He was arrested, and when he got back to Israel he was arrested again. I can’t recall what happened after that. He had an early radio show too starkly peace (at any price) slathered..
@ Edgar G.:
I changed my mind after reading several articles in Arutz Sheva; that may have been one of them; I don’t remember (can you use two semi-colons in a sentence?) I tend to regard Arutz Sheva as more or less “the horse’s mouth” and they often present all sides of an issue, too, as they did with regard to Bibi. “The Jewish Press” is the American Arutz Sheva, also very good. I remember reading, years ago, that the person who founded Arutz Sheva survived a bus terror attack, if I am remembering correctly, and was dismayed to find it wasn’t reported anywhere. That was the initial motivation. And, yes, I am secular and from a secular/New Age background but I am loyal to my people.
@ Michael S:
That’s very interesting, I hope the Border States have heard this clearly….If Biden declares he’ll dismantle the wall, this will put many local people out of work, as well as place unbearable burdens on social services and law enforcement which would be inadequate to combat extensive crime.. It is the border states which were most enthusiastic about building the Wall. and which are supposed to have “voted” for Biden. This should cause a ferment amongst the residents which should quickly translate into the Legislatures…….???!!
Sebastien and I rarely quarrel, We have different backgrounds and are from different generations, I was brought up in a very closely knit generally religious, Jewish Community of about 3,600-4,000 souls surrounded by Jew Haters, who, however, were luckily more talk than action, except when it came to certain employment where Jews were not wanted. For instance in the whole Civil Service, there was ONE Jew. And in the army, not one, until many years later, and then only ONE. We had to build our own school(s), although our movements were not limited. Ireland allowed no Jews escaping from the Nazis to enter, (although about 4-5 managed to sneak in) sand comments were made in Parliament that “even one Jew was too many”, ..and, “we’d like to get rid of the Jews already here”…..
Sebastien and I sharpen our wits on one another. The way you and I would, if you didn’t bring apocalyptic comparisons and extensively quote Torah and New Testament. .
@ Edgar G.:
“Things seem to be rapidly heating up to some action.”
Indeed, Edgar. The more I read about Biden’s plans, the more I am convinced that if he gets inaugurated, the US is finished. Any plan of success President Trump can come up with MUST have been finalized by now; and it will require the cooperation of a sizeable and LOYAL cadre of advisors to mobilize MILLIONS of people. If the action doesn’t step up in the next week, I expect the GREAT UNRAVELING to begin.
Just as a case in point, I read that Biden has declared he will DISMANTLE the border fence, at the very time that record people smuggling, fentanyl shipments and an international turf war are already spilling over the line.
I’m glad you and Sebastien got things sorted out. We don’t need donnybrooks like that just now.
@ Sebastien Zorn:
I’m glad. I though we might be beginning to snip away at one another which would have made me very uncomfortable, as we are usually on the same track.
I just read on Arutz, an excellent article by Alex Traiman, exactly on what we’ve ben discussing.
@ Edgar G.:
After doing further research, I concede the point. It does look that way, at the moment.
