I have to look up the original meaning of the word “equity.” But I don’t think it has anything to do with the political meaning that the leftist politicians, including Harris, have given it. The Russian Communists promised “equity” in this sense, although I don’t think they used a Russian equivalent for the word. But :equity” definitely didn’t happen in Russia under Communism. It was a heavily class-stratified society.
