Macron will unveil peace plan if Trump doesn’t, senior Israeli official says

T. Belman. Not to worry. GOP won’t lose the House and Trump will crush the pipsqueak.

A top Israeli official revealed that Jerusalem believes Macron will release his plan for an Israeli-Palestinian agreement if Trump does not produce his long-awaited deal-of-the-century plan within a few weeks.

An Israeli Foreign Ministry official told a Knesset committee earlier this week that if U.S. President Donald Trump did not present an Israeli-Palestinian peace plan within a few weeks after the upcoming Nov. 6 midterm elections, French President Emmanuel Macron would likely unveil a diplomatic initiative of his ownChannel 10reported on Tuesday.

Alon Ushpiz, the Foreign Ministry’s director of diplomacy, also revealed that Israel was not aware of the details of Trump’s long-awaited proposal.

According to the report, which cited two Knesset members who attended Monday’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee meeting, Ushpiz cautioned that a Democratic takeover of the House of Representatives would significantly change the atmosphere in Washington vis-à-vis Israel.

“Things will not be the same as before,” he was quoted as saying. “There will be consequences for Israel. What has happened until now since Trump’s entry into the White House will not continue, and we need to prepare for this.”

Ushpiz further warned that Israel was losing support in the U.S. Jewish community, and he asked Knesset members to meet with Jews during trips to America, rather than just evangelical Christians

  1. I imagine the Russians, Red Chinese, Taiwanese, Bhutanese, Fijians and Ugandans would all also want to put forth peace proposals, if it would mean first class passage to New York and a free lunch.

  2. @ david melech:

You have a habit of saying important things in “shorthand”. I doubt if the French people who are simmering below the surface would accept such a thing. There would be certainly civil war. Besides, some other European countries are daily taking stronger stands against the Islamisation process going on. They will certainly take up arms at some point……….. A spark, like the rape of the daughter of a popular figure could set the whole area ablaze.

Do you mean that many ARABS are ethnic Jews (forcibly converted over 1000 years ago.)

  3. frogs could give a home to all the illegals being all muzies (many JEWS are ethnic arab) air, sea lift them out off the coast of frog to ile du levant. all would be equal in mohams eyes.

  4. Does NOT matter whose peace plan. Bibi has made it clear Israel will retain 100% of the Security west of the Jordan River. So we are either talking status quo or a new agreement of some sorts based municipal level government in Pal-Arab Areas in Judea/Samaria.

So what areas will Israel annex (apply Israeli Civil Law) to some or all of Area C and any of Area B. Will Israel ever start a program to assist the voluntary relocation of Arabs to other countries.

Not conceivable that any of Pal-Arab leaders would agree to anything resembling anything close to what Israel would agree to. So this leaves Israeli unilateral actions and what they should be or the status quo.

Coming from the French it will probably be a “surrender” joke. Macron should try helping his own country instead of submitting it to Islam and leave the Middle East to those that understand at least some of the complexities of conflicts in that region.

  6. Macron is selling his plan to no one. Israel certainly doesn’t nor shouldn’t care what he has to say. The Palis never do either. While France is falling down the drain, Macron is busy with ‘peace’ plans in the Middle East. He should be focussing his attention to his own, bankrupt, Islamic dominated country. What a fool! Doesn’t he know that those diversion techniques only work in theocratic regimes?
