Mudar Zahran has been doing it for years before he was forced to flee the country. The King tried him in absentia and convicted him. He was given a 15 year sentence.
Many times in the last few months, I advised that the protests would grow in December. It won’t be long now before the King abdicates.
Hard to believe this is happening in Amman. It is a criminal offense in Jordan to criticize the King or call for his overthrow or death. Either the Jordanian government is not as repressive as most reporters say it is, or these demonstrations are being held by Jordanian exiles outside Jordan. Why for example, do the demonstration leaders not hide their faces? One would think they would all be in jail by now.
