Zahran’s mother called him from Jordan earlier today. According to her, Zahran’s 73 year old father who suffers from Parkinson’s disease was stopped at the airport when he was leaving Amman on a private trip.
He was stopped by the king’s royal intelligence office at the airport, interrogated for an hour before he was allowed to board the plane, the intimidation revolves around his son, Mudar,
His mother threatened him in her desparation:
“The sin of what is gonna happen to your brother and his kids lies on you
“So is the sin of what they will do to your dad, your dad is dying everyday, god is going to ask you for this, were you making a buck I would understand (your stance) but you’re not
“I don’t think your dad could survive for another year”
The Jordanian royal intelligence demands were clear: that Mudar take down this particular video.
As Jordan’s king is said to remain absent from the country, Jordan’s political leader posted this video on his social media sites:
The video exhibits how Jordan’s king’s media is using old videos and footage and representing those as new and recent. Having examined the video myself, the videos seems very convincing and realistic, what made me believe more in the authenticity and accuracy of the claims Zahran’s video make is what happened after Zahran posted it.
Mudar is not going to take it down.
Instead he has notified the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Congress and the Foreign Office of the UK.
So, Is he absent or not?
