T. Belman. Pollard called me a week ago and we had a long conversation. Remember, he was an intelligence officer with the US government before he was imprisoned for 30 years. Mostly, I agree with him.

I didn’t notice that this was already posted.
Pollard Explains Netanyahu (and talks about a few other things):

My problem with Netanyahu is that he sounds good, sounds strong, and then backs down. This is a point that Pollard made. He is fighting to lose in Gaza, not to win, which is a terrible loss of Israeli life. And he is “addicted” to US aid, instead of moving Israel towards manufacturing its own armaments.
But he is a very good speaker, I’ll grant you that. And perhaps that is the problem. A gift of words can become its own reality, just like the peace loving words of the left become a reality unto themselves.
My recollection is that Pollard was a sergeant, not an officer. And the record says that he hocked his documents to several countries. He endangered thousands of pro US foreign nationals; no one knows how many were executed .
His described behaviour inclined me to believe that he was on drugs.
Supposed to have begun when he noticed that US had info that was supposed to be shared with Israel, but wasn’t. But that was later after apprehension. Never admired him, as he did it for money.
Later, because of his solitary incarceration, and the bitter animus shown to him byall US politicians, when more dangerous US traitors were treated far more leniently as to jail conditions and much shorter sentences, It reeked of Anti-Semitism.
It made him a martyr.
Oddly, his WIKI picture resembles a Rosenberg era participant.
I watched about 3/4 of this, but I think I got the gist. Jonathan is very clear and logical; and I strongly suspect he knows what he’s talking about.
PM Netanyahu, of course is under great pressure, as are all the MKs; but I think Bibi is uniquely able to cope with it. His main enemy, and Israel’s main enemy, is the same party that has been deliberately compromising the security of the US for the past three years. Porous borders? Terrorists pouring in? That’s the speciality of Schumer, Obama, Biden and the Deep State — and nowhere do they do a better job of it than in the US itself.
Israel and the US are at the center of an attack against the whole world, to destroy the people and institutions who, at present, are preserving it. Trump and Netanyahu are standing in the gap.
