Jewish sovereignty vs. Palestinian lies

By Ted Belman

Ze’ev Jabotinsky writing under the title Jewish sovereignty vs. Palestinian lies says:

Dr. Jacques Gauthier is a non-Jewish Canadian lawyer who specializes in international human rights and is an expert in international law. The topic of his doctoral research was the right to sovereignty over Jerusalem according to international law, and he came to the unequivocal conclusion that, according to international law, only the Jewish people have the right to sovereignty over all of Jerusalem. Those same claims apply to the entirety of the land of Israel west of the Jordan River, including Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip.

As it so happens Gauthier is a friend of mine. He gave me a copy of his thesis when he completed it about 8 or 9 years ago.

On the question of who owns Jerusalem, he says it is res judicata i.e., legally decided.

This is a different question from the question addressed in the Levy Report, which concluded the Fourth Geneva Convention did not apply to Judea and Samaria and the settlements were legal.

Jabotinsky, who is the grandson of his namesake, concluded:

It is our responsibility to use the existence of this right according to international law in the struggle against the delegitimization of the State of Israel, as well as to rebut all claims against steps taken by Israel to realize its right. We must denounce anyone who comes out against construction in Judea and Samaria and throughout Jerusalem and boldly tell them that, according to international law, they are wrong,

  1. We must finally take down the camps of those that “are prepared to do anything for…”. Non, NO! and NO!
This is the Land of Israel and we must do everything needed to secure that Land and Heritage. No exceptions.
Not the Islamic entity, not the State Department, Not the Quai or the Kremlin or Whitehall or the Vatican have one iota of right to demand a thing from us.
