  1. Unless you do a targeted search, Streaming Netflix only suggests shows that are similar to what you have been watching, which are a small part of its collection. It starts out generically. The DVD subscription has even more. Pretty much all of its classic Hollywood is on DVD.

  2. Award-Winning Israeli Series ‘Beauty Queen of Jerusalem’ Coming to Netflix
…The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem” is set in the early-mid 20th century during the Ottoman Empire, the British Mandate period and Israel’s War of Independence. 4. I love Netflix but then I only watch Korean and occasionally other Asian Dramas. They make original miniseries in other countries which use the actors, writers, producers, etc. of those countries. I’ve read about “The Club” for example. a Turkish Netflix show which has gotten good reviews. “The Club” They have Israeli shows, too.

The Woke nonsense is there but its by no means all of it.

”The reception of the Turkish Jewish community to the series was generally positive. The depiction of the Jewish rituals, Ladino language and political topics such as Varl?k Vergisi was especially praised by the community members.[11][12][13] Also the depiction of taboo topics such as Crypto Greeks, anti-Greek sentiment in Turkey, and Istanbul pogrom in 1955 (in part 2) was praised by the Greek Orthodox community members.[14]’
