It is fair to say that the radical left is more antisemitic than Americans in genral

Many democratic leaders are embracing OWS as an antidote to the Tea Party. Ted Belman

DNCC Chair, Rep. Israel Adds Occupy Wall Street to the List of Anti-Israel/Anti-Semitic Causes He Supports

Occupy LA Protester

The Chairman of The DCCC (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee) Steve Israel, who is supposed to be representing NY’s 2nd Congressional District, never met a Progressive anti-Semitic or anti-Israel group that he did not embrace.  The Long Island Congressman’s latest “love affair” is with Occupy Wall Street whose members have displayed a hatred of both the Jews and the Jewish State.

The DCCC run by Israel features a petition supporting Occupy Wall Street which is looking for 100,000 signatures in support of Occupy Wall Street

Its hard to believe that Congressman Israel hasn’t seen any of the news reports of hatred coming out of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

For example this New York Protester who claims that one small minority controls the banks, the judiciary, American Politics, and represent over 50% of all billionaires in the country. (if you cannot see video below please click here)

“The Jews who represent only 2% of the population…have pooled their money together an now control all the the finances of America”

When Michael Moore was covered by MSNBC as he spoke from an Occupy Wall Street protest, he was joined by anti-Israel protesters.

Michael Moore From Occupy Wall Street

This little clip came from the Los Angeles version of the protests Steve Israel is supporting. Meet Patricia McAllister who is not only an Occupy Wall Street protester, but she also works for the LA Schools:

“I think that the Zionist Jews, who are running these big banks and our Federal Reserve, which is not run by the federal government… they need to be run out of this country.”

As reported by Carl in Jerusalem in his blog Israel Matzav one of Occupy Wall Street’s organizers, Kalle Lasn, has a history of anti-Jewish writing.

Back in 2004, he wrote a highly controversial Adbusters article entitled “Why Won’t Anyone Say They Are Jewish?” which peddled some of the more feverish theories about American Jews, neoconservatism, and the Bush administration

If Carl could find that out from thousands of miles away in Jerusalem, its hard to believe that Steve Israel couldn’t find that out living 40 miles away from the NYC rally.

Poster From Occupy LA

In  Chicago, the Steve Israel supported Occupy Wall Street protest joined up with a Destroy Israel march.  As reported by Rebelpundit:

Hatem Abudayyeh, a local pro-Palestinian agitator, rose to stage to address the crowd regarding Israel and American imperialism. He referred to Benjamin Netanyahu as a “fool” for his recent address to the U.N. General Assembly, and cheered the effectiveness of the global boycott and divestment in Israel, which he said was successfully putting a “dent in Israel’s indemnity over Palestine and the Arab world.” During the speech, members of the radical left-wing Jewish Voice for Peace, an organization on which noted socialist Noam Chomsky happens to sit on the board, passed out flyers that read at the top, “Be a Passivist (sic), be a Nonviolent Activist, Refuse to Pay Taxes, Destroy Israel!”

This is not the first anti-Israel/anti-Semitic cause backed by Steve Israel, who represents a district with a large liberal Jewish population. When President Obama was trying to push the anti-Israel group J-Street down the throats of the pro-Israel community, the Long Island Congressman lent his name to the Organization. He didn’t care that the group wanted President Obama to begin talks with the terrorist group Hamas and ease up the Iranian sanctions. Later on when J-Street tried to convince the US Congress to accept the Goldstone Report, a one sided UN Report with trumped up charges of Israeli War Crimes during the Gaza war, Congressman Israel was silent about the group for which he lent his support.

Sign From Occupy NY

As President Obama began to implement his anti-Israel foreign policy, Steve Israel who never before had been reluctant to speak out in support of Israel, was strangely silent. Even as Republicans began to stand up to support the Jewish State, Congressman Israel said nothing. His silence is the result of his inability to have a thought independent of the Administration. This past May when President Obama made his one sided anti-Israel Middle East there was plenty of criticism regarding Obama’s call to begin negotiations with Israel ceding the disputed territories, but none of it was from DNCC Chair Steve Israel.

And lets not forget the fact Congressman Israel accepts campaign funds from a man convicted for smuggling weapons to Iran, a country threatening to destroy the Jewish State.

I do not believe that Congressman Israel believes in the Antisemitic/anti-Israel Stance of Occupy Wall Street, nor does he agree with the stances of J-Street or the Iranians his donor was convicted of arming.  In fact there is no evidence that he agrees with the President’s anti-Israel policies which he remains silent about.  No, the DNCC Chairman is much worse than that. Steve Israel is a political hack, who abandons the Jewish State and the Jewish people, not because of an actual belief but because he wants to get ahead in the Democratic Party political organization.

Sadly here in New York’s Second 2nd Congressional District, we do not have a Congressman who represents this slice of Long Island, instead Steve Israel believes his role is to represent the national Democratic Party as well as everything this President says and does.

  1. bland, are you in left field.

Laura is by no means a loon.

She is intelligent and a great American conservative and a friend and supporter of Israel.

Laura and Caroline Glick are the great defenders of America and Israel.

I believe if these two wonderful ladies could travel the US speaking to the various Jewish organizations they could possibly wake up the liberal American Jews who drank the obama kool-aid.

  2. After being called every epithet Laura could think of, short of “Messy Bobby”, I happened across this footage of the “Occupy Lansing” demonstration. The people interviewed hardly seem like radical crazies, in the pay of George Soros. To add to this evidence, my wife and I rode past the “Occupy Eugene” rally for the first time today, and found the “occupiers” to be a bunch of orderly, well-mannered folks quietly holding signs. I also notice that Israpundit posted a recent poll of “Occupy” participants:

    1. Fewer than half (48%) plan to support Obama’s re-election as President, and
    2. the Democrat: Independent: Republican ratio was about 1:1:1.

That’s about as mainstream as it can be.

  3. ron paul is not a leftist. he is very much a right wing libertarian who wants to rid america of a much too powerful gov’t. he is as much a leftist as ronald reagan.

  4. rongrand- you got it just right. george soros is the devil incarnate. he is behind the new world order and is a one worlder. a godless creature if there ever was one and more likely behind the collapse of america and the decline of the west. as the world get poorer, he gets richer. We need another Oswald to terminate this threat to humanity.

  5. Laura, you got that right. George soros and company is behind this and it becomes a diversion from the obama failed policies.

Notice how the liberal left media will not criticize the occupy protesters.

The last several nights Mark Levin has been hammering away at Romney. Mark is a real conservative and can spot a phony when he sees one.

  6. I agree with the protest against the wall st crooks and Banksters but unless these protests can purge the NAZIS, Commies, and random antisemites from the protests, I can’t support them. That does not mean I support the stupid positions of the Fox news fools who pander to their corporatem masters dictates.

Yamit, they are not going to purge these people from the protests because they are the very essence of what the occupy movement, funded by soros, is all about. It is about overthrowing the capitalist system and replacing it with a communist system.

  7. Ron Paul is on board, and nobody can call him a Leftist. It’s the “99%” factor: You can’t claim to represent the “99%”, and purge anyone — including Nazis.

ron paul IS a leftist. Anyone supporting a movement to overthrow the capitalist system is an anti-American leftist regardless of whether they conceal themselves under the banner of a populist. And he is certainly an anti-Semite. That you defend the nazi involvement in this movement exposes your true colors. I don’t know why Ted hasn’t purged you from Israpundit.

  8. I support the 99%, which includes America’s most productive people.

This bilge does not represent 99% of Americans but wants to destroy America. You are either clueless, blandoatmeal or you are a communist and an anti-Semite.

  9. Oh and I didn’t know that believing in freedom and free markets and getting government out of the way of the private sector is “right wing extremism”.

  10. Right Wing extremists like Laura have gone about snatching a remark here and a video clip there, trying to put the “Occupy” movement into a God-hating, America-hating (to many, this means the same thing) box. In doing so, they are just finding common cause with the international bankers and strengthening the powers that be (notably including Obama).

G-d hating, America-hating, anti-Semitic and communist is EXACTLY what this occupy movement is about. It isn’t just a remark here and there, but is THE ESSENCE OF THE MOVEMENT as polls of protesters have shown. Apparently you too are a communist given your remarks. I believe in capitalism and make no apologies for that. The problem isn’t with capitalism, but rather our financial problems lie with big government hindering of the free market. Social engineering through Fannie and Freddie is what led to the financial meltdown. You are making the same mistake as many people have in not understanding what has really caused the economic problems.

  11. Thanks, Yamit

I thought you were against the crony capitalist crooks, as I am. As for purging their ranks, I don’t agree. My son is involved in this movement, the first social movement he has actually gotten excited over; and he’s neither a leftist nor a right-winger: He just wants to see a more Biblical treatment of the poor. He sees the Republicans, with considerable justification, as a rah rah USA beer-swilling horde who hate young people, and is theefore not a candidate for the Tea Party. As for Obama, he sees him as Bush III, the same as I do. I told him, from my experience in the anti-Vietnam-War movement, that it is wise to keep the “Occupy” movement as broad-based as possible. As long as they do, the Dems can’t justly claim “ownership” of it, as some have tried to do. Ron Paul is on board, and nobody can call him a Leftist. It’s the “99%” factor: You can’t claim to represent the “99%”, and purge anyone — including Nazis.

If the “Occupy” movement puts on a head of steam, the Dems are in trouble. Remember the Anti-Vietnam protests: They forced LBJ to resign, then got Nixon elected in a landslide by the “rah rah USA” crowd, only to be treated like a rat who’s just crawled out of a sewer, less than two years later. What that movement did, was drastically alter US foreign policy. This put the Russians on the defensive for the first time among third world countries, bogged down propping up an unpopular government in Afghanistan while we supported the rebels. Ultimately, it led to the collapse of America’s only real competition in the world. The Leftist empire in America crumbled: Unions became ineffective, real earnings went on the skids for American workers, and the gap between super-rich CEOs and the average wage-earner grew exponentially. Dyed-in-the-wool capitalists and Republicans could be ecstatic at the result; and the Dems couldn’t reclaim the “triple crown” of controlling the Presidency, Congress and Supreme Court until 2009.

America is headed for hell in a handbasket, as is Israel; but I will ever support causes that tend to re-direct us in the direction of sanity. I support the Republicans, because they stand a chance of putting a healthy fear into the hearts of Obama and his clique. At the same time, I see monopoly cartels such as the Federal Reserve as a far greater threat to America than the Democratic Party; since the former control both the Dems and Reps.

I support the 99%, which includes America’s most productive people. The upper 1% do NOT help the economy, nor anything else: They engineered the 2008 collapse for their own benefit only. Through the crash, they turned loan guarantees into hard cash for the banks, straight out of the taxpayers’ pockets. In that one stroke of evil genius, they bilked Americans out of more money than all the entitlement programs combined, including Social Security. They are a worthy object of contempt; homeless and disabled demonstrators are not.

  12. They are self=abnagaing Jews who had too much handed to them by their middle and upper class parents….Too bad they don’t work for a living and get off the streets!

  13. Yamit

    ,

I’m surprized to see you coming out on the side of Goldman Sachs & their ilk. Laura, I can understand; but not you.

I agree with the protest against the wall st crooks and Banksters but unless these protests can purge the NAZIS, Commies, and random antisemites from the protests, I can’t support them. That does not mean I support the stupid positions of the Fox news fools who pander to their corporatem masters dictates.

  14. Yamit,

I’m surprized to see you coming out on the side of Goldman Sachs & their ilk. Laura, I can understand; but not you.

  15. This Steve is the next Weiner, although the GOP has to wait for the redistricting to know who to run in NY2, which is currently not-so-liberal western Suffolk County, Long Island. Have to admit, I was puzzled that This Steve got the DCCC chair. I figured it was his last name.
REALLY bad idea to post this support OWS on the DCCC website.

I write “This Steve” so as to NOT confuse him with Suffolk County Executive Steven A. Levy, the fiscal conservative dem-turned-republican who is a Catholic (what was it with Jewish guys and Italian girls in Queens in the 1950’s?) Levy will NOT be running for anything in the future, but really, Suffolk County is not populated by liberals – too busy drowning in NY taxes.

BTW, in a completely different bit of news, seems ConEd, owner of half the building, has defeated the Mosque near Ground Zero by raising their rent, retroactive to 2008 🙂

  16. Nazis and Communists Throw Their Support Behind Occupy Wall Street Movements (Updated)

The foremost authority on National Socialism in America has this to say about “Occupy” [ANP leader Rocky Suhayda -ed.] :

What is really MISSING – is the “MOVEMENT” from these popular protests – its time to pull WN heads out of their collective ass’s, and JOIN IN the attack on Judeo-Capitalism. What do you suggest? That WN Working Class White people DEFEND the Judeo-Capitalists? IF the “movement” wasn’t so PATHETIC it would be OUT THERE – LEADING these protests! The fact that its these “lefties” as you call them, who are picking up the ball and running with it – only shows how much more in tune THEY are with the fed up masses of White Workers, than the fossilized, reactionary “right-wing”. WHO holds the WEALTH and POWER in this country – the JUDEO-CAPITALISTS. WHO is therefore the #1 ENEMY who makes all this filth happen – the JUDEO-CAPITALISTS. WHO therefore do WN need to FIGHT? My heart is right there with these people, perhaps someday the “movement” will SHOW the same COURAGE and DEDICATION that these people OUT THERE FIGHTING are SHOWING!

Sincerely, ROCKY SUHAYDA Hail Victory! 88!

    From the CPUSA website:

This is an exciting time! Thousands of mainly young people have been occupying Wall Street for three weeks already, and the “Occupy Movement” has spread to more than 200 other cities. On Oct. 6 the actions spread to our nation’s capital.

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA) will hold a national teleconference to discuss it:

    Arturo Cambron
The Communist Party and the Occupy L.A. Movement
Tuesday, October 11, 8 pm Eastern
Teleconference number: 605-475-4850 (please note this is the corrected number. ignore previous.)
    Access code: 1053538#

Southern California Party leader Arturo Cambron will share how the CPUSA and Young Communist League (YCL) are working in “Occupy Los Angeles.”

This movement, also known as the “99% movement,” is being hailed across the country. Movements and organizations are reaching out in solidarity. The AFL-CIO is opening union halls and offering other material assistance. Ordinary people are donating food, money and materials.

In many areas, the “Occupy Movement” is linking up with the National American Wants to Work Week of Actions, Oct. 10-16.

No doubt the “Arab Spring” demonstrations and those that exploded in Wisconsin, Ohio and elsewhere have inspired it. But underlying it all is the economic crisis, the massive unemployment and growing realization that nothing is getting better, and in fact we may be slipping into a “double dip” crisis. The crushing student debt and the feeling of being locked out of society with no future compound this.

The movement is the newest wrinkle in the all-people’s upsurge against the banks and corporations and reflects a new level of class-consciousness.

UPDATE: Thousands of Occupy Chicago protesters cheered the communist leaders last night in Chicago.

  17. Laura, you’re right about the Dems having causing the housing/finance crash. But really: If Jews controlled the economy, do you sincerely believe the federal government woul be $14trillion in debt?

  18. Another reason for the democrats support of the occupy movement is to deflect blame for the financial crisis away from themselves. It was the democrats who caused the Freddie and Fannie debacle which led to this crisis. It is the left wing democrats, through social engineering, who caused the finanical meltdown. They would prefer the American people not realize that and instead channel their anger at Wall Street.

  19. Let’s be blunt. That disgusting hippopodomus, michael moore, is an anti-Semite. There’s a reason the neo-nazis are supporting the “occupy” movement. And moore and any other celebrity and politician who backs these protesters are hereby accused of nazism. These left-wing and democrat hypocritical scoundrels have falsely been accusing the tea party movement of racism, despite there not being a shred of evidence of racism on display at any tea party rally. Yet here we have democrat politicians supporting a movement where this is documented proof of anti-Semitism openly displayed. The next time any of these skunks accuse tea partiers of racism, it is our obligation to throw the hatred of the Occupy movement right back in their faces and accuse them of being anti-Semites for supporting it.

  20. “The Jews who represent only 2% of the population…have pooled their money together an now control all the the finances of America”

Why haven’t I been invited to the party?

Hatem Abudayyeh, a local pro-Palestinian agitator, rose to stage to address the crowd regarding Israel and American imperialism. He referred to Benjamin Netanyahu as a “fool” for his recent address to the U.N. General Assembly, and cheered the effectiveness of the global boycott and divestment in Israel, which he said was successfully putting a “dent in Israel’s indemnity over Palestine and the Arab world.”

Effectiveness of the boycott against Israel? Ha ha, is that why Israel’s economy is doing so well in comparison to much of the rest of the world?
