Glick wants to extend Israeli law to J&S and to offer a path to citizenship

By Ted Belman

Today I attended a lecture by Caroline Glick organized by The Women in Green, in which she doubled down on her solution; annex all the land and offer qualified Arabs a path to citizenship.

I have always been against offering citizenship because I felt that the Arabs living there couldn’t be domesticated, i,e turned from confrontation to cooperation.

Caroline doubled down on her solution arguing if we exercise our sovereignty and support the good Arabs rather than the bad Arabs, as we failed to do in Oslo, then the Arabs would learn to value their citizenship. Supporting the good Arabs means integrating them better into Israel. This is what Bayit Yehudi wants to do.

I argue that European countries, with only 5% to 10% of their population being Muslim, are finding it impossible to domesticate them. The Muslims live by their own laws and refuse to integrate or assimilate. Of course they do this on the European dime.

Demographics show that the Arabs will constitute about 35% of the population in the combined territory making it more difficult for Israel to do this.

I didn’t have the opportunity to ask Caroline why Israel would be able to do this whereas the Europeans couldn’t.

Secondly, if the Arabs seek citizenship they will be able to more than double their present Knesset representation of 14 seats to at least 30 seats. Combine those with the seats of Yesh Atid, Zionist Union and Meretz. Such a coalition will easily dominate future Knessets.

Such a coalition would not support Israel as a Jewish state and will be more socialist. It will also grant more national rights to the Arabs. How can this be avoided?

As a result I continue to support annexing Area C only, with some adjustments, while continuing to enforce the provisions of Oslo with regard to A and B. Variations in the rules for A and B can be mutually agreed upon.

At the same time we should set up an incentive program to encourage Arabs to leave first B and then A.

  1. It is always good to research how the foreign elements do their Naturalization work.
For example, lets see what it takes for foreigners of different types to be able to apply, again to be able to apply for citizenship. Application does not automatically mean that it will be granted. In all cases stern requirements besides residence and desire to settle permanently, apply.
China: Basically if one or two parents are Chinese or close relatives are. Unspecified process duration.
    Austria. 6 to 30 years
    Andorra. 20 years.
    Spain. 10 years
    Angola. 10
    Italy. 10?
    Denmark. 9
    Hungary. 7
    Estonia. 8
    Greece. 7

    Indonesia. 4-10
    US. 5

    Albania. 5
    Britain. 3-5
    Russia. 1 to 5
    Australia. 4
Argentina. 2 (The country is Catholic constitutionally)
Many countries have stern Religious characterization by constitutionals law.

The attempt to define a nationality out of the blue and allowing “citizenship” into such fabrication is virtually non existent.

Israel DID NOT have citizens until several years after 1948.

  2. Mrs. Glick, I am afraid, has changed….again. First she is the eager beaver Oslo Planner, working under Rabin to detail The Peres Syndrome’s elevation, to morbid reality, the train to Aushwitz, Revisited. Then, if that is not enough to lead her to a different line of work, she emerges as The Great Holy Critic Extraordinaire of Oslo, writing like a thousand articles and appearing in debates in which she typically turns on the dramatics, which basically are all a variation on a theme, which makes one feel as if there is no hope, that is once again Aushwitz Revisited, now for the second time. Then there is the book she authored several years ago in which she advocated Israeli Soverignty with a loyalty test for Arabs, who would be offered citizenship of Israel. This loyalty test would be scrutinized, by the world for any signs of bias etc and would end up being watered down just as Reform Judaism will let anyone “marry” a Jewish girl, even a rabid anti Semite. Sadly there are prominent pundits on this site, who have in the past suggested that Glick should be Prime Minister. That would be an error. The new made citizens who would have an army of lawyers paid for by the likes of The Soros Kill Israel Fund, will demand the right to move to all parts of Israel and there is your gift right of return. Hence, Auschwitz Revisited #3. The war against Israel will morph into something worse, thanks to Glick’s insanity, not the first time.

  3. support the good Arabs rather than the bad Arabs, as we failed to do in Oslo, then the Arabs would learn to value their citizenship. Supporting the good Arabs means integrating them better into Israel. This is what Bayit Yehudi wants to do.

there is no evidence for this bit of wishful thinking which is actually the same kind of wishful thinking that the leftists employ with their “solution”
the solution should flow from and answer to the reality of the problem…. the reality of the problem is that in spite of all the wishful thinking, hopes and dreams of starry eyed jews the arab muslims arre still a majority hostile collective which shows no real evidentiary promise of integrating in a workable fashion with the Jews. The Jews need to accept the evidence. Caroline does not accept the evidence because such an acceptance must mean no citizenship for the overwhelming majority of hostile arabs in the heart of the Jewish homeland. Once accepting that unavoidable conclusion it forms the premise for new conclusions and choices. either the majority of hostiles must leave or the Jews must give up bits of their homeland. but then the question becomes why should the jews give up their homeland to satisfy those who refuse to cooperate? the answer of course is that they should not. Those unquestionable conclusions must be the basis for arriving at “solutions” no matter how disappointing it may appear to those Jews who determine their lives by their image to the world and to themselves rather than by the reality of their situation. the real solutions wont make jews look like the best of the good guys but it will insure their survival in their homeland.

    SHmuel HaLevi 2 Said:

Separate or in one bucket, Islamic murdering items will continue to do the same as they do today and have been doing forever and a day here and all over the world.

this statement is the unavoidable fact that must be accepted in order to arrive at a solution which is realistic. This must be the basis, the distasteful fact caused by others which is not the responsibility of the Jews.

Jews cannot reach peace with those who teach their children that Jews are sons of apes and pigs…. it is absurd on its surface and at its core.

  4. Start by annexing Area C.

Arabs there who are terrorists or supporters will be forcibly removed one way or another.

Arabs who state they have desire to become loyal residents of the State Israel can so apply. If after 15 years they and their families have been loyal, tax paying residents, learned Hebrew, have agreed to National Service and performed it they may apply for citizenship.

Arabs who are non-violent and not terror supportters but do not swear allegiance to Israel will provided an opportunity to obtain assistance to emigrate. They will be able to sell their land and property to citizens of Israel.

After Area C and East Jerusalem are under control and have learned how help Palestinians emigrate Israel should then consider annexing Area A/B.

Israel should walk before it runs as an explosion of Arab residents free to travel all over Israel is a terrorists dream and our nightmare.

The Golan annexation has gone great because there are so few Arabs (Druze). East Jerusalem has not gone so well with several 100,000 Arabs. This is still a huge problem. Israel needs to solve this and the Arabs in Area C before tackling 1.8 million Arab residents who would soon be demanding citizenship under their terms while terrorizing Israel.

  5. I have always been against offering citizenship because I felt that the Arabs living there couldn’t be domesticated

    Well stated.
    They are feral.

  6. Like any country, Israel has the right to determine criteria of citizenship and with criteria really no more stringent than Switzerland, I can’t imagine more than a handful of Arabs would quality. The rest should be identified as a hostile enemy population and treated as such. Glick is the way to go!

  7. Separate or in one bucket, Islamic murdering items will continue to do the same as they do today and have been doing forever and a day here and all over the world.
Sharon, Livni, Lapid, Beinish, Olmert, Netanyahu and others, destroyed the honest life work and family life of over 8000 Jews to “disengage”. We ended up with the parasites everywhere and with several wars, constant rocketing, having to provide for the vermin.
We must follow our best interests disregarding all pseudo agreements. Muslims must be vetted and those with any Islamic stain, offered an open door out.
Volunteers to leave may be paid.
Any, and I mean any, act of aggression from that caterva must result on terrible and disproportionate reaction.
No A, or B or C are parameters we must adhere to.
Of course none up there can handle it.
