Israel should reject the very dumb idea of a “deal.”

Peloni:  The Old Conception required significant policies to be based on fantasy rather than reality.  The “deal” being pushed on Israel requires a resurgence of this Old Conception foundation, and for Israel to accept doing so would be the greatest of follies.  Reject the deal.

  1. Hezbollah may agree to a ceasefire now because they have been hurt badly and want to stop the IDF from killing any more of them.

    However, Israel needs to get a better deal than 1701 to maintain a peaceful border. They need a buffer zone where no Lebanese are allowed north of the Israeli border. If this is violated then the IDF needs to take action to enforce this no go zone or buffer zone.

    Yes, I know, they are mostly a proxy for Iran. They have never been defeated like this time by Israel. Israel is more than half the way to destroy Hezbollah completely. They should continue until the mission is fully accomplished like what happened to Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).

  5. i24News is reporting that Hezbollah Officials have given a “Postive Response” to the Ceasefire Proposal presented by the United States, with discussions expected to be had with President Biden’s Envoy, Amos Hochstein when he arrives in Beirut later this week.
