T. Belman. Like I said, if no immediate extension of sovereignty, no freeze.
Some 2,929 housing units are slated for construction in the Beitar Illit bloc in Gush Etzion. Overall, 2,476 homes will be built across the regional councils in Judea and Samaria, and 21 homes will be constructed in communities in south Mount Hebron.
The Israeli government on Thursday announced it would be pushing wide-scale construction in Judea and Samaria, after nine months in which no such plan was discussed.
On Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s instructions, the Judea and Samaria Zoning Committee is scheduled to convene on Oct. 12 to approve the construction of 5,400 homes across the settlement enterprise.

Sources familiar with Netanyahu’s decision told Israel Hayom that it contradicts the assertion that Israel as forced to place a moratorium on settlement construction as part of its peace deals with the UAE and Bahrain.
“Netanyahu has approved the construction of more homes in Judea and Samaria than any other leader. The understandable setback was due to the historical breakthroughs vis-à-vis the Gulf states, but now there is no reason to postpone anything,” one official said.

I am willing to bet that even these won’t be built.
It’s just another Israel government’s intentionally loud “call for help”: “Restrain me, restrain me, I am about to do something forbidden by the “world community”!!!”
Of course, I will be very happy to be proven wrong when shortly we will see a great surge in aliyah, Jewish settlement, and residential real estate construction (when it takes much less than 3 years to build one building).
As they say – hope is the last to die.
Ted, these are all being built in existing communities which were part of the area which the Trump plan had included for sovereignty when Israel applied it. Bibi had frozen building in these areas for several months.
Outside of existing settlements, is there any building going on? If it is, it is below the radar.
The article confirms what I just wrote.
