Peloni: I agree with Chikli:
“Min. Chikli: I’ll oppose a deal, we can’t stop the war”
It would be a devastating betrayal of both the dead and the living to accept any surrender to Hamas, even more so a surrender which abandons dozens of abductees to their ultimate fate in the hands of the Hamas butchers and rapists. The goals of the war, all of the goals, must be pursued to completion. Any deviation from such a pursuit would have the gravest of consequences. Personally, I do not believe this will happen, and in fact, it must not.
A new Israeli proposal for a possible hostage deal with Hamas includes a willingness to discuss the “restoration of sustainable calm” in Gaza after an initial release of hostages on humanitarian grounds, two Israeli officials told Axios.
Why it matters: It is the first time since the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas that Israeli leaders have suggested they are open to discussing an end to the war in Gaza as part of a hostage deal.
- Ending the war has been central to Hamas’ proposals during hostage deal negotiations in recent months.
Driving the news: A delegation of Egyptian intelligence officials arrived in Israel on Friday and conducted talks with representatives of the Shin Bet, Israel Defense Forces and Mossad about the hostage deal and a possible Israeli military operation in Rafah.
- At the end of the talks between the Israeli negotiations team and the Egyptian intelligence officials, the Egyptians forwarded to Hamas a new proposal that included Israel’s willingness to make further significant concessions, the Israeli officials said.
- Hamas said in a statement on Friday night that received the new proposal, will study it and respond.
Behind the scenes: The Israeli officials said the new proposal was formulated jointly by the Egyptian intelligence delegation and the Israeli negotiations team, taking into account the positions Hamas has presented so far and what Israel and Egypt think the group might agree to in a deal.
- The new proposal includes a response to many of Hamas’ demands, such as a willingness for full return of displaced Palestinians to their homes in northern Gaza and the withdrawal of the IDF from the corridor that divides the enclave and prevents freedom of movement, the officials said.
- The proposal also includes a willingness to discuss the establishment of a sustainable ceasefire as part of the implementation of the second phase of the deal, which would take place after the release of hostages on humanitarian grounds.
What they’re saying: “We hope that what we have proposed is enough to bring Hamas into serious negotiations. We hope Hamas sees we are serious about reaching a deal — and we are serious,” an Israeli official said.
- “They should understand that it is possible that if the first stage is implemented, it will be possible to advance to the next stages and reach the end of the war.”
- The Israeli official noted that Israel believes Hamas perceives the threat of an Israeli invasion of Rafah as a credible threat, and that this may help the two sides reach a deal. He added that Israel is serious about an operation in Rafah.
Zoom in: The hostage talks between Israel and Hamas have been at a deadlock for a few weeks with significant gaps between the parties.
- In recent days, the Israeli war cabinet decided to change its position regarding the number of hostages Israel demands that Hamas releases as part of a deal.
- The proposal that was on the table involved the release of 40 hostages in return for six weeks of ceasefire and the release of roughly 900 Palestinian prisoners.
- The 40 hostages included women, female soldiers, men over the age of 50 and male hostages in poor medical condition who would be released on humanitarian grounds.
- But Hamas claimed in recent weeks there are only about 20 hostages that fit this humanitarian criteria.
- Israeli officials said the Israeli war cabinet authorized the Israeli negotiations team for the first time this week to discuss the release of less than 40 hostages.
- The number of days of the ceasefire will be linked to the number of hostages who will be released — one day for each hostage.
What to watch: Israel expects to receive an answer from Hamas in the next few days and officials said they hope it will lead to the opening of intensive negotiations on the details, especially the number of hostages that will be released in the humanitarian phase and the number of Palestinian prisoners that will be released in exchange
Obviously, there is no such thing as a genuine “calm” with these savages. These Israeli leaders are still clinging to the false “concepzia, although perhaps only under intense pressure from Obama-Biden-Blinken.
https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-798629. Everyone should read this article in the Jerusalem Post. It describes the almost incredibly brutal and treacherous murder of an innocent young Jewish couple who were taking a nature hike from Tel Aviv to a beauty spot on the coast. However, they had to pass by several Arab villages and Bedouin encampments. A group 5-10 Arabs who noticed them passing by and decided to murder them. They succeeded in capturing the Jewish couple and subjected them to atrocities that were so vicious that they are difficult to describe. The young woman was gang-raped by five men and then buried alive. (The autopsy showed that she was still alive when buried} Her mail companion was subjected to prolonged and fiendish torture before being killed with a blunt instrument.
The British police (this was during the Mandate period, in 1931) showed little interest in investigating the crime. However, the shomrim, or guards, at several nearby kibbutzim , conducted their own investigation with some assistance from some slightly more human Arabs, who helped the shomrim identify the killers in return for cash payments from the kibbutz guards. One reason these Arabs agreed to help was that were mainly young men who hoped to marry. But in their society this could only by paying bride-prices to the girls’ fathers. Whether the girls actually wanted to be married to these suitors was not considered to be a matter of any consequence. But at least it gavethese guys a motive to assist the Shomrim with their investigation of the crime and arrest of the murderers.
Once the Shomrim and their Arab collaborators had identified the murderers, the British police agreed to arrest them. What happened to the suspects after that, the article doesn’t say. But the revelation of what Palestinian Arab “culture” is like is absolutely devastating. This also confirms what numerous other authors have recorded about the vicious behavior of many Palestinian Arabs over the past 200 years.
The war of the West against the Jews goes unabated!
Hamas in the driving seat!
Deceived and betrayed again. Do not endanger yourself or family on behalf of the repugnant junta.

No not just the Democratic party.
Also to the republican members who joined them in voting for the 60 billions to Ukraine. Also the whole EU and NATO.
However like Russia and China Israel is still sovereign and must look to the future which is the defeat of islam in Israel.
Somewhere and soon new leadership is needed…
While I’m sure everybody is aware of this, a cease-fire must be held to by both sides. Even the slightest infraction of a cease-fire will cause resumption of the war.
AMEN
Tragically it is not Hamas that Israel is surrendering to, but to the American Deep states and their Democrat party.
