Miss Universe judge who happens to be Jewish has apparently received death threats after she engaged with a Palestinian activist on air amid the war playing out in Gaza.
The New York Post reported that Emily Austin, a Jewish journalist who engages in activism related to the Jewish state, appeared on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” in late October to discuss the conflict playing out in the Middle East.
The segment quickly turned sour after Austin confronted Nerdeen Kiswani, an anti-Israel activist, who expressed doubt that an Islamic Jihad’s failed rocket was responsible for the Ahli Baptist Hospital explosion in Gaza City.
As the segment continued, Austin eventually asked Kiswani if she condemned the 9/11 attacks in the U.S. Instead of coming out and condemning those attacks outright, Kiswani simply dismissed the question as “ridiculous.”
Austin accused Kiswani of targeting her online by posting a picture of her with a red triangle above her head, seeming to suggest that there was a bounty on Austin.
Austin spoke with Fox News Digital about the segment, saying: “I really tried to keep it fact-based, unemotional, like this is what this is. She was yelling. She was talking over me, threatening me on Instagram with, like, a red arrow over my head, telling people how funny it was to put a bounty on my head. That’s not so funny.”
The Anti-Defamation League has identified Kiswani, the leader of the Within Our Lifetime-United for Palestine group, as a radical who has routinely supported violence against the Jewish state.
“Kiswani’s antisemitism is clearly expressed via her expressions of extreme anti-Zionist rhetoric, including her calls for all ‘Zionists’ to be vilified and expelled from community spaces, as well as her support for indiscriminate violence against Israel aimed at the country’s dissolution,” according to the ADF.
Following Austin’s engagement with Kiswani, she reportedly received a slew of hateful messages on social media, some of which threatened her life.
“I will find you and sell you. A Jew like you in Gaza will be expensive $$,” one social media user wrote.
“I’ll kill you f***ing wh**e. I will hunt you down like we did to Israeli people,” another apparently said.
Other names Austin was called include “stupid Jewish b***h” and “f***ing lying piece of s**t.”
The Post reported that there was one user who said that Austin “deserved” to have a bullet put between her eyes, and another reportedly said they hoped she would be raped and killed.
Truly Appalling. The Hamas supporters are truly evil.
It was difficult to watch this interview. The Palestinian woman is a professional victim. She feels 100% justified in her hatred of Jews because she believes Jews committed “ethnic cleansing” against Palestinians in 1948. She is convinced Israel has committed genocide against her people.
How can Israel have committed genocide against the Palestinian people when their population has increased 6,000% since 1948?
The Palestinian people who fled their homes in British Mandate Palestine did so because the Arabs told them to leave. They promised they would be able to return in a couple of weeks.
But this woman has been indoctrinated with a victimology such that she can take no responsibility for anything, and thus has no capacity to regulate her own hostility towards Jews. This is very similar to the victimology of Hitler: he believed that he figured out why Germany lost WWI, and it was because of the Jews! I’m not sure how Jews caused Germany to lose the war, but Hitler felt clear that this was the case. He felt the Jews who had no country of their own, were parasites on any country in which they lived. Once he viewed himself and the German people as victims of the Jews, it was not difficult for him to justify getting rid of the Jews, as the parasites he felt them to be.
Similarly, this indoctrinated Palestinian woman feels completely victimized by Israel and the Jews and feels Hamas is completely justified in whatever they do to the Jews. There is no end to the aggression she feels towards Jews. Feeling like a victim nullifies the ability of guilt to hold a person back from acting on their wishes for revenge.
The Palestinian woman could not engage in a discussion about her feelings or consider the feelings of others. She was like a machine: she has been indoctrinated to hate Jews and blame them for everything bad that has happened to Palestinians, and it is as if this is the explanation for everything in her universe. There is nothing else in her head but the Palestinian “victims” and her righteous indignation and rage that anyone should question the justification for the actions of Hamas.
I also listened to an interview with Musa Abu Marzou who is head of Hamas International Relations, who lives in Doha,

and he said the same kinds of things. When asked how he could justify what Hamas did to innocent civilians on 10/7, he said “they were commanded to only attack military personnel.”
So when asked why they attacked young people at a concert he said, “We only have the word of those who survived the attack. We don’t know that the attack was done by Hamas. The interviewer then asked, “Are you saying that Israel attacked its own people?” He said, “You are just telling the Israeli propaganda side of the story.”
Then the interviewer asked, “But we heard a man call his family and say, “I killed 10 Jews with my own hands!” And he answered: “That could not have happened because they were told not to carry phones, as that could get them killed.” The interviewer then said, “But this phone call was captured by the body cam of the Hamas killer.” And the Hamas commander said, “They weren’t carrying cameras so this cannot be true.”
So they have an answer for everything: in other words, all of the people who supposedly engaged in a massacre didn’t do so, either it was Israeli propaganda, or the Israelis did the killings, or the Israeli army faked the call for propaganda purposes.
We are dealing with psychopaths, that’s essentially what it comes down to. Psychopaths justify every crime they commit (at least to themselves) and they feel no guilt and no anxiety. It makes them very effective killers.
