Yesterday’s activity in Jenin is an exception (for the better) compared to the pattern of the last few weeks which was based on spot raids.
Yesterday the pressure and measures were deep and continuous.
Israel immediately needs a type of “protective wall” model 2023 and similar events in other areas of Judea and Samaria as well.
Apropos the discussion about the role of the Palestinian Authority, it should be understood that in practice Israel dismantles the Authority without announcing it just as it creates a Nakba in Gaza without declaring it. The activity in the depths of the Palestinian territory and in the Palestinian cities in YHWH effectively abolishes the PA and empties it of its status.
It is not impossible that the activity in Jenin yesterday expresses a new Israeli aggressiveness designed to empty the status of the PA before someone decides to use this scrap and import it to Gaza. Will the move include activity against the Palestinian mechanism?

Yes, Israel has been establishing truths and facts in Gaza plus Judea/Samaria since the October 7 War started without announcing it. This is in spite of Washington occasional very scolding.

The PA and Hamas are VERY formidable fighting forces. While Israel certainly can win and as American I support Israel, my ally, and am praying for them and supporting them any way I can, this particular phase of the long war has only been going on since early October. As such, baring supernatural divine intervention it would be all but impossible to get the PA and/or Hamas in any kind of position so quickly that them actually surrendering would even be feasible. Essentially Pollyannish reporting is NOT HELPFUL here or anywhere else.
