Israel can extend its law over 30% of J&S or all of it and all Palestinians living there will be Palestinian citizens. Thus it won’t be an apartheid state.

TOI has an article that “Annexation will mean apartheid, warns Mandela ally who always fought comparison”

But if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu goes ahead with his plan to unilaterally annex large parts of the West Bank, apparently without offering Israeli citizenship to the Palestinians who live in these areas, Israel will indeed turn into an apartheid state, Pogrund warned.

Not so because either these Arabs will have palestinian citizenship from the Palestinian statelet envisgaged by the Trump Plan OR they will have Jordanian citizenship as envisioned by the Jordan Option. Thus they will be considered as foreign residents in Israel. Only if they had no citizenship would Israel be considered an apartheid state.

  1. I am for cooperation with the very friendly Trump Team.

I propose Israel (hopefully we are doing just this) hand the USA the detailed map it needs in the joint mapping committee. Hopefully the committee approves this map.

The coalition agreement requires that the US backs what area Israel is applying sovereignty to. Bibi and the Likud will have to make a decision if the US does not back the map. Does Israel present its to the Knesset anyway in application of sovereignty or just wait until they have an agreed upon map?

  2. Israel is a SANCTUARY state for Jews, not an apartide state. There are already 1.7 million Arabs inside Israel and 1.7 billion Muslims outside. Love it or leave it, then live with your decision. Palestinians don’t like the decision they made 72 yrs ago. The hand the writ has moved on and shall not return that way again.
