Unbelievably, the United Nations Security Council, for the first time in eleven months, held a session that included allowing Israel to highlight the plight of Israeli hostages since 7/10.
Israeli Ambassador, Danny Danon, made an emotional and factual case for the atrocities of Palestinian Hamas on Israeli civilians on 7/10, and every day since, culminating by the violent and cold blooded murder of six beautiful boys and girls in the darkness one of Hamas’s tunnels rather than spare them.
Who knows if there are any living hostages? The United Nations have never demanded the Palestinians to allow an inspection by the UN or International Red Cross.
But, with it being the UN, even this must be “balanced” by a counter promotion.
The Palestine representative spoke lyrically about the Palestinian tragedy of genocide being inflicted on them by several “D’s” including “devastation, destruction, dispossessed, and death” by Israel.
For shame, an Israeli based anti-Israel NGO, Bt’zelem, was invited to speak against Israel.
Putting shame on top of shame, the UN body heard from UN bodies, including those for have, for decades, aided and abetted Hamas to develop their terror metropolis both above and below ground in Gaza, including in UN facilities and by employing UN personnel, about the suffering inflicted on the Palestinian people by the war inflicted on them by Israel.
Instead of demanding Palestinian Hamas to unconditionally surrender and release all the hostages, dead or alive, immediately, and thereby put an end to their genocide, the stage is being set for the UN to impose a ceasefire, or an end to the Gaza conflict, possibly leading to the continuation of the status quo, namely leaving Hamas in charge in Gaza.
At this session, Israel was the only voice for real justice of a war inflicted on us by a Palestinian terror organization, tenuously supported verbally by the United States.
Given the appalling personal history of Joe Biden at the UNSC, specifically when he acted as the bagman for Obama in recruiting the votes of the UNSC members for Obama’s notorious UNSC Resolution 2334, in which Obama declared that Israel was “illegally occupying Palestinian territory,” territory on which Jews are living in Israel’s ancient Holy Land of Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem, it is highly likely that Biden will do an Obama and not apply a US veto on a new anti-Israel resolution – hostages be damned – by the United Nations.
