  1. Supporting Turkey is crazy by the USA. Kurds were loyal but USA only half-hardheartedly reciprocated their fight with ISIS. Trump did not view the Kurds as needed to Make America Great Again.

Note – Turkish Military is now all Erdogan loyalists. They have purged anyone interesting in removing that they knew about.

  2. @ Adam Dalgliesh:

100% right. And if WE know it, then Trump, who has so many more reams of info, HE knows it too. But he has a country to run, and because its an international matter, he has to wiggle a bit here and there. I’m sure it must be on his “list” of things to do. Eventually Erdogan will overstep his own feet, and Trump will lower the hammer.

  3. The U.S. is mad to continue to support the mad bandits in Ankara. Plainly all aid to the Ankara regime should be ended immediately. Severe economic sanctions should be imposed. The Turkish military should be given every encouragement to overthrow the regime. Under the Turkish Constitution, they have a right to do so. If the Turks carry out further attacks on the Kurds or others in Syria (they already have carried out attacks) they should be bombed mercilessly by the USAF. Also if they try to oust us from our military bases in eastern Turkey. If necessary, declare the Kurds sovereign in that part of Anatolia. Erdogan and Company are enemies, not allies. I wish Trump grasped this. The CIA and the State Department, both committed to an obsolete alliance, have misled him about Turkey.
