History repeats itself in Jordanian history
Yesterday, Queen Zain Al Sharaf arrested her husband, King Talal, and placed him under house arrest, and then expelled him and installed her son Hussein, King of Jordan.
Today, Queen Rania arrests her husband and places him under house arrest in order to install her son Hussein as the future king of Jordan.

Very urgent from Washington, the capital of the decision Very soon, the palace of Sharif Hussein bin Ali in Cyprus will be restored to be the main and final residence of Abdullah II and his family in exile after their recent departure and soon from Jordan. For the record, Hussein bin Ali was exiled from the Hijaz to Cyprus by the British forces in 1926.

Ted, besides for what you have reported, are any other outlets carrying news of the King abdicating? If yes, I can not find any and have done quite a bit of searching.
All sounds good. Hoping this is real. Have zero expectation … after the “It’s happening ” a couple years ago and then it wasn’t…

I just looked at very many interviews (from 4 years to 3 to 2 etc) on Youtube, with you, also Mudar and others, and except for one, which had 18 comments, mostly unfavourable, and one with 6, none of the others had any comments.
I was looking for the viral one of 4 years ago. It has to have been one of those I looked at.
I even looked at the EU ones the Oxford UNi. ones etc. None, or almost no interest.
These have NO effect on my strong belief that your Jordan Option is the ONLY good one. Another thing, Mudar always looks out of place with that headdress and western clothing. (Arafat-ish) They clash badly. He’s trying to portray modernity, and also appeal to the Arab street,
but …..

That may well be, but does that mean there they are not there. After all, Mudar is in London, pre-disposed, but “out of the loop”. In ALL the many video protests we have seen, sent to us by Mudar, there has NEVER been a single mention of his name, or of any successor. Nor any mention of a “new” Jordan succeeding the kinglet.
It could do him no harm if his name was mentioned even repeatedly, as he is already proscribed, and likely well hidden.
Or it could be that the Jordanians, including the king and his minions, pay him no attention, as being inconsequential.
I specifically asked Mudar if he had any challengers to the leadership of the New Jordan..
He said, “none whatsoever.”
WHEN- A monarch abdicates, there is already a successor lined up. In this case we have much talk of abdication but no talk (I mean official) of his successor. Likely it will be his eldest son.
Whether or not it becomes a Democratic Republic as TED and MUDAR have been working for, is not a given, although this has happed many times in Europe when a series of monarchies both pre and post WW2 were swept away and replaced by either Republics or Dictatorships.
But rarely in any Arab country, where monarchies, or ruling Emirates seem endemic. Egypt is the only example I can presently think of, and it is really a dictatorship masquerading as a Republic.
Of course we also have the PA after Arafat 1… *(**&**&@

Abed sounds more believable than Mudar. The first half of Mudar’s text is his usual stump speech and the rest is his usual forecast.
I thought that he missed the London flight and was not at the conference-except by a video or something like that.
Ted, with all due respect how many times have we heard this. Do you never lose belief in promises that do not actualize?

If Biden’s intervention isn’t required, this might work. With all the Israel-haters in his cabinet, it’s rather his interference that is to be wary of.
just talked to Mudar.. He agreed with Abed tweet and said that the “King is now completing his moves to go into exile and it won’t be long now”
Mudar also told me that this 5 minute video from 4 years ago in which i am interviewed has gone viral in the Arab world and even Russia Today has translated it into Arabic, I believe.
