T. Belman. The interviewee is a Muslim who went from the US where he lived to Iran to participate in the Islamic revolution in Iran. He had nothing negative to say about Iran or its politics. That turned me off.
What he describes is an alternate universe.

Yes I agree there are serious issues in this interview.
However there are also serious issues in how Israel is approaching this war in Ukraine.
For me Israel has the right to defence against Iran
At the same time Russia fights an existential war with America with Fascists as proxies, the same Fascists who helped murder many Jews in the Holocaust.
That latter should also be stated clearly and continuously by Israel. – but isn’t.
I am reminded of a conversation from last summer (roughly) by Robert Barnes in which he discussed the lack of consistent intellectual honesty by others who champion Russia. He noted that the use of the same critical thinking which the likes of Eva Bartlett and Max Blumenthal use to defend Russia, when applied to Israel or issues surrounding Israel, has led to him as being labeled as a Zionist plant. Barnes continued by asserting that he isn’t any more a Zionist plant than he is a Russian plant, but that he calls balls and strikes regardless of whether it is Russia or Israel or any one else at the plate. He noted that he is capable and willing to chastise either country when the facts present themselves in support of such things, but that these other Russia hawks lack the ability to be objective or honest when the subject of Israel is raised. He specifically noted as an example of the absurd level to which many of these Russia hawks used their platforms to object to the ‘murder’ of a journalist caught in the middle of a firefight in Janine, even while the Pals refused to release the body or the bullet for confirmation (this conversation took place before the bullet was released of course).
It is unfortunate that Ritter has used his new platform to display a similar lack of consistency when addressing the insurrection taking place in Iran. He did not enter into the conversation with this Iranian sycophant lightly, but fully endorsed his Iranian guest with a great deal of enthusiasm and zeal. The fact that the Mullah Toady was unable to make the slightest reproach of the Iranian regime laid bare his lack of honesty, even going to the level of encouraging all to come visit the Iranian paradise and discover the truth of their society for themselves.
It is ironic that I noticed a story being reported today of a couple in Iran who were arrested for dancing in the street, the woman without a headscarf. For this simple crime they have each been sentenced to 10.5yrs in an Iranian prison. No doubt, should the woman turn up dead, an autopsy will find she died of natural causes, and the family will confirm it, and the Iranian Sycophant will certify this as well…probably on Ritter’s show.
I didn’t watch the whole thing but sampled a few segments. If something like this had been aired on American media during WWII, both of these men would have either lost their American citizenship, been deported or incarcerated as enemy agents. The discussion didn’t seem like analysis so much as enemy propaganda aimed at people who are already inclined to hate this country. Some of the chat comments referred to the tribe and Zionists, What is Ritter up to, actually? Is he on the payroll or just stupid? One highlight: the Iranian agent says if America changed its policy, Iran would be ready to forgive. Remember the hostage crisis after the revolution? And he left out a few other things too. There is little point in watching the whole thing unless one is building a case for treason.
