T. Belman. I support the use of the vaccines but I still question everything that we are told. While I trust Trump, I do not trust what the establishment tells us. It has earned the mistrust. Among the many debatable issues around Covid-19 is one unassailable fact: The coronavirus is nonpartisan. It makes no judgment about one’s political leanings. The vaccines that were developed to fight this virus have no political bias, either.
And yet the reluctance and even refusal of many Americans — including many of my fellow conservatives and Republicans — to get a Covid-19 vaccine is a frustrating irony for those of us who worked to expedite these vaccines. While the vaccines have had doubts cast upon them by politicians throughout their production and rollout, whether a person lives in a red or a blue state has no bearing on the vaccines’ efficacy. They work incredibly well, and more than 160 million fully vaccinated Americans are proof.
Whether such skepticism is rooted in political misgivings, conspiracy theories or lack of accurate and timely information, there are still millions of Americans unwilling to take the simplest of steps to end this pandemic. That makes it incumbent upon all leaders and health experts to be honest about how safe and effective the vaccines are and urge vaccination.
I know the vaccines’ features intimately because as secretary of Health and Human Services, I oversaw their development, testing, approval and distribution from April of 2020 until January of this year. After leaving office, I watched with pride as vaccination rates rose through the early months of the year, and then with dismay as the daily number of vaccinations declined.
Any claims that the vaccines are unsafe or ineffective, or that corners were cut are not true. Americans should understand that the process by which our team helped expedite these vaccines was called Operation Warp Speed for good reason. With the numbers of cases and deaths climbing in April of 2020 and the economy contracting, we had no time to lose. Masks and social distancing could offer only so much protection. Lockdowns, which devastated economies around the world, could only forestall the virus’s inevitable spread.

Safe and effective vaccines were our best hope of liberating America from the pandemic. As hospital wards filled beyond capacity, we needed to develop the vaccines much faster than the typical timeline would allow. At the same time, we made sure that there was no compromise on safety by conducting some of the largest and most extensive vaccine clinical trials ever.
After the U.S. government committed to spending more than $2 trillion on Covid-19 relief, I set a stretch goal that was intended to be both audacious and motivational — a “moon shot” — similar to President John Kennedy’s 1961 proclamation that we were going to the moon by the end of the decade. In this case, our goal was to produce 300 million vaccine doses by January 2021.
Operation Warp Speed committed to funding upfront various stages of development, including testing vaccines in humans to prove they are safe and effective, as well as the manufacturing of the vaccines.
We provided funding to test vaccines in large populations, and we got results faster than ever before. The vaccines produced remarkable protection against Covid-19 and were extremely safe. After studying all the data in depth, the Food and Drug Administration granted emergency use authorizations.
Some who are hesitant to get vaccinated point to the fact that the vaccines remain under emergency-use authorization rather than full approval. It’s vital for Democratic and Republican leaders to explain clearly and repeatedly that the F.D.A. held these vaccines to such high standards that the only real difference is that full approval requires steps like analyzing longer-term safety and efficacy data, and inspecting manufacturing facilities. Hundreds of millions of doses of these vaccines have now been given to Americans over the past year, providing us with some of the most robust real-world evidence of their safety and efficacy that we’ve ever had for new vaccines. A vast majority of adverse events with the vaccines occur in the first 42 days or so.
The current and former leadership of the F.D.A. and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — of both parties — are unanimous in encouraging all eligible Americans to take the vaccines. Political, public health and thought leaders must educate about the benefits of the vaccine, not hector or preach. This information must come from respected and trusted figures in the various hesitant communities.
We did not reach our stretch goal of producing 300 million doses by January, but we hedged our bets by investing in a portfolio of vaccines and had tens of millions of doses of vaccine in production by the end of January. Many governors were able to begin general vaccination programs by March, and we had a surplus of vaccine by the end of the second quarter.
As I reflect, we could have done a better job in reminding the media and the public of all that could go wrong with vaccine development and manufacturing. We also should have explained more clearly the operational complexities that would accompany a large scaling up of distribution.
We could have done more to address vaccine hesitancy. We focused a great deal of our efforts at the start on the groups that we thought might be most hesitant. We demanded all clinical trials included a diverse, representative sample of participants, and the Department of Health and Human Services provided funding for an effort by the Morehouse School of Medicine to coordinate a network of national, state, territorial, tribal and local organizations to deliver trusted information to racial and ethnic minority communities.
But we did not predict the politicization of vaccines that has led so many Republicans to hold back. As of mid-July, 43 percent of Republicans said that they have not been vaccinated and definitely or probably wouldn’t be, versus 10 percent of Democrats, according to a poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. I’m glad former President Trump got vaccinated, but it would have been even better for him to have done so on national television so that his supporters could see how much trust and confidence he has in what is arguably one of his greatest accomplishments.
The vaccines could be a victory lap for the Republican Party, and I call upon all party leaders and conservatives to double down on encouraging vaccination. Party leaders like Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida are making clear that vaccines save lives. Sean Hannity of Fox News is now telling viewers to “please take Covid seriously.” Representative Steve Scalise of Louisiana shared a photo of himself recently getting vaccinated. I urge more of this from trusted voices on the right.
More than 600,000 Americans have died of Covid-19, but vaccines can prevent more loss. Getting vaccinated is an absolute necessity to end the pandemic.
Conservatives need to do our part, and the Biden administration must find voices that will be trusted in conservative communities to explain the data and integrity of the vaccine programs. They would also do well to continue to acknowledge the historic achievement of the Trump administration in expediting these vaccines. I’m not naïve about the partisan issues and the mistrust between parties at play — but a measure of political graciousness could go a long way to depoliticize the issue.
In seeking to end this pandemic, the Biden administration is exhorting all unvaccinated adults in our country to get their shots, and I fully support it in this call. It would be tragic to see more lives needlessly lost when we are so close to beating this virus once and for all.

Yes, I agree. That was the most disturbing part. And there were many very disturbing topics covered. It is perhaps a collection of the worst nightmare scenarios possible. I hope this video is viewed by as many people as possible. I grow more and more concerned with the revelations that are coming to light. And with every new revelation, it seems fairly routine that these matters were well known prior to the crimes being committed and no where in the world is there any oversight by any govt willing to recognize the harm that these policies could result in. And also no authority to pursue the crimes that have been committed and continue to be pursued without comment on these and other well documented alarms.

Why do you think the 1st step was to ruin the economy and to destroy the small businesses and let the giant corporations take over the larger share of the market?

We are dealing with a virus that around 99.7% of people will easily survive according to the medical establishment’s own studies and stats as well as numerous independent studies, yet, for some reason we are being bombarded with fear mongering from the media and from governments.
Why is the only solution being suggested to the general public involve us giving up all of our freedoms and medical autonomy? Why is 99.7% of the population supposed to lock down, mask up and submit to an experimental mRNA vaccine with no long term testing data to prove its safety? Why don’t the 0.26% of people that are truly at risk of dying from the virus simply take precautions or stay home while the rest of us get on with normal life? Hell, I would be fine with contributing to a fund to help support the 0.26% at risk, to help their families and help with their medical bills.
The Federal Reserve and other central banks burned trillions of dollars in stimulus measures and PPP loans to keep businesses from going completely bankrupt, and to keep jobless “non-essential” workers from starving during the initial shutdowns. But , we could have simply kept the economy going this entire time and paid a fraction of that cost helping the tiny minority of people that would actually suffer from the illness.
Yes, that’s right, I’ll say it again and again because I STILL to this day see the media and misinformed covid cultists continually claim the death rate of covid is much higher. It is not. The median Infection Fatality rate of covid is ONLY 0.26%. This is a FACT. This is the science according the vast majority of medical studies out there on the IFR. Let me repeat: The entire world is being locked down and told we have to give up our inherent human liberties because 0.26% of the population might get more than sniffles and brain fog from a covid infection. Why?
Well, that’s easy; because the covid response and restrictions have nothing to do with public health and everything to do with public control.
This essay is a little different from what I usually write in that it is not so much an appeal to pure reason or pure science and more an appeal to principle. I have been asked by many readers lately if it is not better to argue against pandemic mandates based on ideals and principles rather than hammering away at the science. I think it’s important to do both, but let’s take a moment to consider the moral question and the moral question alone. To do that we must ask some simple questions:
Who has the right to control your medical decisions? Who is qualified to control your constitutional right to life, liberty and the right to seek out prosperity? Who should be given the power to tell you what you can say, where you can work, where you can buy, where you can sell, where you can walk, where you can travel, what you must believe in?
The answer is NO ONE, except yourself that is. But of course, the covid cult and the people that benefit from the pandemic will claim that your rights no longer apply when you are “putting the lives of others at risk”. It’s the old social contract argument – You are “part of a society”, therefore society has expectations that supersede your rights. This is all nonsense, but it’s a classic strategy used by every totalitarian in modern times. It’s never been about what “society” wants, it’s always only ever been about what the tyrants want.
As I have noted in numerous articles with endless scientific facts and evidence, no one who wants to remain free from covid mandates or vaccine passports is putting anyone else at risk. Again, the median death rate for covid is 0.26% and neither the mandates, nor the masks, nor the vaccines have put a stop to covid infections. Interestingly, it has been the states with the harshest lockdowns and mask restrictions that had the highest rates of infection for the past 18 months. Even now, fully vaccinated people are getting covid by the thousands in “breakout cases”, and some of them have died. Infections and deaths dropped off in January long before the vaccines were widely manufactured. Only 5% of the US population was vaccinated with a single dose by February. The fact is, the vaccines have achieved nothing.
Even if I was among the 0.26% of people that are at risk of dying, I would NEVER demand that the other 99.7% of the population give up their freedoms and their children’s freedoms just so I might feel a little bit safer. That would be an act of selfish madness.
But lets say for a moment that we set aside all the science that supports the anti-mandate position. What if the death rate of the virus was much higher? What if we were dealing with Ebola or some other nasty pathogen? What if 1 out of 100 people were at risk? What if 1 out of 10 people were are risk? Would medical tyranny and mass lockdowns be acceptable then? The answer is no, they would not be.
Why? Honestly, it’s a matter of who is in power and who is implementing such mandates. Why should we have blind confidence in governments made up of corrupt elitists and globalists? Who are they to look out for our best interests? How are these people qualified to protect the public trust? They are not qualified and will never be.
They do not care about us. They are only interested in serving their own interests and pushing forward their own agendas. Just look at how excited globalist institutions like the World Economic Forum have become, calling the pandemic an “opportunity” to force through their “Great Reset” agenda. These ghouls are not the type of people the public wants in charge of micromanaging their lives.
Thus, it is left up to the individual to protect themselves how they see fit, but the establishment tells us we are not capable of doing this. Rather, we must defer to their “better judgment”. They are supposedly smarter than us all, and as “benevolent” technocrats only they have the knowledge and righteousness to determine the course of every living person’s future.
Globalists like Gideon Lichfield at MIT told us exactly what the plan was in March of 2020 in an article tiled ‘We’re Not Going Back To Normal’. They admit that the goal has always been to institute vaccine passport restrictions that will last for many years to come, if not forever. From the article:
“Ultimately, however, I predict that we’ll restore the ability to socialize safely by developing more sophisticated ways to identify who is a disease risk and who isn’t, and discriminating—legally—against those who are.
…one can imagine a world in which, to get on a flight, perhaps you’ll have to be signed up to a service that tracks your movements via your phone. The airline wouldn’t be able to see where you’d gone, but it would get an alert if you’d been close to known infected people or disease hot spots. There’d be similar requirements at the entrance to large venues, government buildings, or public transport hubs. There would be temperature scanners everywhere, and your workplace might demand you wear a monitor that tracks your temperature or other vital signs. Where nightclubs ask for proof of age, in future they might ask for proof of immunity—an identity card or some kind of digital verification via your phone, showing you’ve already recovered from or been vaccinated against the latest virus strains.”
I say to you that this is the classic philosophy of almost every semi-human monster that has ever lived. This is the ideology of narcissistic sociopaths. The religion of soulless robots. Some of the greatest evils known to mankind have been committed in the name of “the greater good of the greater number”. This mantra cannot be tolerated under any circumstance; it cannot be allowed to infect our nation and supplant our deeper values. Because if it does, we may find ourselves slaves to the system for a very long time.
As I have been warning they would do for the past year, multiple governments are keeping pandemic lockdowns and restrictions in place or they are bringing them back (in the case of the US), and it should be clear to everyone that this circular process of medical tyranny is not going to end. It is never meant to end. The goal of the establishment, of globalists and governments, is to keep the restrictions in place indefinitely.
The mainstream media has consistently attacked the claim that governments would enforce vaccine passports as conspiracy theory. Now they are openly admitting that the plan is to institute vaccine passports and they are vigorously defending it. They are discussing with avid fervor how they might be able to FORCE or compel each and every person to take the jab, even if they don’t want it and even if the jab serves no purpose.
I have my own suspicions of the jab and its true purpose and safety, but lets not forget that the jab is at the very least a stepping stone to the vaccine passports. The passports are the key to everything. Without the passports, medical tyranny cannot be established. Without the passports they have no leverage over the population to dictate the fundamental aspects of our lives. They NEED the passports in order to get their “Great Reset”. Without a “papers please” social credit system in place, their Reset will fall apart.
It is therefore imperative above all else that the vaccine passports are never allowed to take root. The program must be stopped and destroyed.
I am not a major “influencer” in conservative or liberty movement circles. I am not a big YouTube personality or a media Juggernaut. I have no big business backing or deep pockets to spur a national campaign. I’m not particularly fond of public speaking though I have learned to deal with it. I am just a writer with a love for the values of freedom, the values of reason and in many cases the values of faith that give humanity meaning. And, what I see is a deadly serious need; a need for an organized front line against the storm of dictatorship that is on our doorstep.
What I suggest is simple – A national campaign against the medical passports. Globalists, socialists and corporatists understand the concept of “pressure” and how to apply it to get what they want. I believe we must also learn how to wield pressure in the opposite direction. It is not enough to sit in our homes isolated from each other content in the knowledge that millions of other people feel the same way we do. We must also take action.
We must send a message: WE WILL NOT COMPLY!
I’m not sure that any single person out there has the “clout” to drive this campaign alone, and it’s probably better that way. What is required is a mass movement united by principles, not a movement tangled together by a cult of personality.
There are many ways to do this, from simple actions to more complex strategies. Any liberty activist can send a message through signs, bumper stickers, advertisements, billboards, etc., reminding the establishment that we will refuse to submit to the jab or the vaccine passports under any circumstances. They need to understand that there is nothing they can do that will make us change our minds. Nothing.
The primary strategy of the covid cult has been to work with larger corporations to demand proof of vaccination (vaccine passports). We must let these companies know in no uncertain terms that we will cut off all consumer support for their businesses. We will not work for them and we will not give them a penny of our money. Instead, we will approach smaller local businesses, find out if they are a part of the ‘We Will Not Comply’ campaign, and if they are, then we will support them instead. It’s time to teach these corporations a lesson and put them out of commission by removing our money and our labor from their pockets.
The next strategy by the establishment has been to mandate vaccinations for government workers. Again, mass walkouts are the answer. Let them sweat by losing half of their workforce. And then maybe take them to court. Bury them in lawsuits while strangling their ability to operate.
Eventually, the Biden Administration is going to attempt federal level lockdowns and vaccine controls. It’s only a matter of time. This is where organization is vital. Counties and states with majority conservatives and liberty advocates must band together and once again say “We Will Not Comply”. If your state government is on board and defying Biden then that will be extra helpful, but do not make the mistake of assuming that state governments alone will protect you. You must be organized at a local level, with your community and local businesses ready to make a stand. This must start now, before it is too late.
Finally, if the covid cult decides to pursue direct force as an option, we must be ready to fight back. Without local organization at minimum, defending ourselves will be difficult or impossible. This means bringing back an old standby of the Founding Fathers: The militia.
There is a time for preparation and a time for taking risks. Without risk there can be no freedom. We are quickly approaching a time in which gamblers and true believers could decide the fate of the world for the next century. A grassroots and organic movement needs to be assembled to fight back against the rising tide of totalitarianism. Each of us can only do our own small part, but together, in concert, I believe we can stop medical tyranny and the Reset in its tracks and even reverse the damage done.
I believe we are living here now at this crossroads for a reason. I believe we are meant to be here; that we are being given a chance to be the right people in the right place at the right time. I believe that we can end this evil, but only if we dare to try. It begins with one simple step: Telling the world “We Will Not Comply!” And then, we must follow through on our promise.

This is sheer madness. As far as I can make out, and anyone in israel please correct me if I am wrong, Israeli hospitals are at present not crowded with cv-2 patients. It is said they are not at present crowded with patients at all. There are said to be many hospital beds. There is no rational basis for the drastic measures that the government is contemplating.
There is always an ebb and flow of al infectious diseases. In some seasons and periods, there will be an upsurge in cases. In other periods case loads will decline. But vaccines have only very rarely succeeded in eliminating a disease entirely or almost entirely. Lockdowns also have never achieved this goal, or anything close to it. Human communities have learned to live and even thrive without completely eliminating infectious diseases. Therefore, going into a panic whenever there is a slight uptick in cv-2 cases makes absooutely no sense.
Cv-2 seems to resemble influenza , which causes millions of illnesses every year, and which vaccinations cannot prevent. Vaccinations help to keep the case load within manageable limits, and prevent a mass catastrope on the order of 1918-21. But no one thinks that flu can be eliminated entirely, No one has even aimed at this as a goal.
There have always been, and probably always will be, some individuals who will die of infectious diseases. This is especially true of the very elderly and those people with underlying “comorbidities” which increase the susceptibility of people to these diseases. For example, every year some individuals die of influenza or its “complications.” No one has ever suggested that entire societies should be locked down because of this, or even that a 100 per cent vaccination rate is necessary to contain it. Why should there be a radically more intensive approach to cv-2, which like influenza does not cause a huge death rate? Most people don’t become symptomatic with cv-2 even if not vaccinated. And of those who do, most recover. The same pattern as with the flu. Obviously, the only rational way for societies to manage cv-2 is the same way that flu has been managed for many years.
On the other hand, what are the effects, social, economic, and medical, of lockdowns? Banning social gatherings, preventing people from working
away from home, severely limiting shopping, severely restricting attendance at religious services, severely restricting childrens’ attendance at schools, etc., is likely to result in the total collapse of societies that adopt these measures. Unemployment will surge and remain very high. Many, perhaps most, businesses will fail. Suicides, death from drug overdoses and alcohol abuse will surge. They already have begun to surge. Domestic abuse will skyrocket as husband and wife, parents and children are imprisoned with each other 24 hours a day. Is it really worth doing all this damage to the social fabric in an effort to achieve the unattainable goal of the complete elimination of cv-2?

Very well stated! You have nations with limited medical communities such as Egypt, Mexico and India who are employing treatments and dare I mention prophylaxis(at least in the last two) to actually treat this scourge while the medical giants of the world seem fixated on these measures that will defy any support or reason. The further use of these partially effective vaccines while this virus is unconstrained will simply create a more and more refined virus, specifically mutated towards escaping its effective use.
It is time that the government of Israel and all governments begin to show a bit of realism about cv-2. Neither vaccines, nor lockdowns, nor restrictions on travel, nor requiring people to be vaccinated in order to work, go to school, travel , etc. are going to make this illness go away. That has been proven beyond reasonable doubt. The vaccinations reduce the number of serious cases for a time, which is all well and good. But after about six months their effectiveness declines, leading the Israel and other governments to urge people to get “booster shots.”
This suggests a pattern similar to that of influenza, where it is necessary to be revaccinated every year to maintain some degree of protection from infection. Most years they must introduce modifications in the influenza vaccine to deal with new and more contageous strains.
There appears to be a similar revaccination requirement to control cv-2, although the interval between the shots required to maintain the effectiveness of the vaccine in shorter than the flu, and clearly three or four shots to maintain immunity to cv-2 will be required yearly, while only one yearly is recommended for influenza.
As for the lockdowns and restrictions on freedom of movement and group gatherings, they appear to have very little effectiveness in containing the virus. Whatever temporary slowdown in the spread of the virus they may bring about ends almost immediately once these restrictions are relaxed.
This brings me to my point. Up till now the world immunological and epidemiological communities seem to be aiming at a complete elimination of the virus in a short period of time. The measures against it only make sense if this is their objective. But this objective is not attainable. The reality is that cv-2 will be a permanent, long-term reality in human communities throughout the world–just as influenza, AIDS,pneumonia in both its viral and bacterial form and a thousand other diseases are permanent realities that can be controlled to varying degrees, but not eliminated.
Humans have rarely succeeded in completely eliminating any disease once it has spead throughout the world. It took more than three hundred years from the first vaccination campaign against smallpox for the disease to be (so they say, I have my doubts) eradicated. The bubonic plague took approximately 650-700 years to finally “burn itself out.” Vaccinations can (apparently) give one lifetime immunity to some deadly diseases, such as polio. Other diseases require vaccinations every five to ten years, such as tetanus, with an additional booster if a puncture wound increases one’s vulnerability. Vaccinations for some childhood disease such as chicken pox, diphtheria, mumps, whooping cough can confer lifetime immunity–as can also develop even without vaccination in many people, because when contracted when one is young, an immune response lasting a lifetime may be triggered.. However, these diseases have not gone away, and if you are not vaccinated when young and/or do not suffer the disease when young, you can contract when an adult. If that happens, these illnesses can make you very sick or even kill you.
Although some effective treatments for malaria exist, such as HYDRX, but the disease is still very prevalent in large parts of the world.
However, none of these diseases, even the deadliest of them, have led to the kind of shutdowns of normal human society, severe limitations on social interaction, travel, public gatherings, religious worship, spectator sports, schooling, work outside the home, and all the other aspects of lockdown. If society did lock down because of any or all of them, human society and civilization would have ceased to exist years ago, to be replaced by–what?
And this is precisely what will happen to world civilization over the next ten years or so if the lockdown and compulsory vaccination responses to cv-2 continue. Whole economies will be permanently wrecked, and organized religion, universal education social gatherings and recreation, etc. will come to a grinding halt.
We need to stop the madness and learn to live with cv-2 the way we live with thousands of other diseases that can never be completely eradicated. CV-2, like the flu, is now a permanent part of human reality, and we must learn to live with it. Yes, some people will die of covid no matter what measures we take to prevent this, just as some people will die of influenza and AIDS no matter what measures we take to prevent this. Those who do not get sick and those who recover must get on with their lives.
Apologies rain down from politicians and now editors of so-called respected newspapers and media like the gentle rain from heaven. They mean nothing. What, I wonder, would these apologisers and the people who actually believe them do if, let us say, Hitler had apologised for murdering the Jews ( and others) or Stalin had apologised for murdering millions of people in what was the USSR? I seriously doubt that even they would accept the babble of apology at face value.
The editors who now apologise should not get off so lightly. They knowingly condoned the deaths that followed in the wake of the Wuhan virus for both political and monetary gain. They committed crimes against humanity; they cannot apologise.
We know about the political bias. Only now are we learning about the financial bribery of that rag of journalism the New York Times ( all the news that is fitted to print) by the Chinese from the recent article in The Spectator. We now learn that this same outfit is busy scrubbing all articles favouring the Chinese government propaganda. Fortunately, some researchers prudently saved copies of what was said and so we all can see the spectacle of what Aneurin Bevan once called the ‘prostituted press’.
Once again these are crimes against humanity and the people who knowingly were complicit in their commission ( Fauci and his e-mails for example) should be arraigned and tried on this basis. As should the executives of the drug companies who actively campaigned to keep cheap but effective treatments from being used.
Ted is quite correct in what he says. Unfortunately, the politicians were and are as corrupt as any other group and would do nothing to curtail their power. The real tragedy, however, is that, if we believe public opinion polls, the public is quite happy to support any restriction on their freedom if only they can be safe.
Wow, I didn’t see this coming
The problem is that the government today and its institutions are rotten to the core and cannot be reformed . They must be purged. A thorough house cleaning is mandatory.

This is a very great problem that will not easily be reconciled. The loss of an honest dialogue over the past months regarding the virus and the vaccines and the treatments have each etched at public confidence and created a credibility gap that will be difficult to mend. It will have implications with matters relating to public health where there will be no basis for such speculations, but which will now be fed by the lack of candor about recently discovered issues that can not easily evade the public’s detection. The loss of acceptance of governmental policy as being in the public’s interest was a mistake, and a very bad one. Such mistakes should be recognized and immediately reconciled. A frank discussion should be begun by the govts of the world with their public. No one should be dragged to the alter of forced vaccination with experimental vaccines that have unknown safety issues and uncertain longevity. Free access to well established drugs that have been shown to be effective should be allowed to the public as treatment and prophylaxis. Public concerns should be addressed and supported with an honest discussion about what is known and what is not, and the implications of possible safety issues, as much as is known since Pharma destroyed the safety monitoring studies. And the establishment of proper safety guidelines and monitoring boards should immediately be established and implemented with full transparency to the public.
These basic actions(and their are others we could add) would serve to reaffirm public confidence to whatever level as is possible at this late hour and begin to repair the breach of confidence between the govts and their public by simply extending them the respect that they deserve rather than utilizing forced mandates and societal upheaval to which the public as a whole have not consented. Even if these steps should be immediately implemented, which they won’t, the loss of confidence in the govts ability to provide a balanced oversight to the Pharma giants will not be easily mended. Still, I believe this is the best path towards achieving a sense of accountability and generate confidence among the public. This in turn will lend itself towards reestablishing a sense of trust between the public and their govts over time. It seems a reasonable approach, I believe – should leadership prove able and willing to approach their public as being men rather than subjects.
