This serves the function of neutralizing the tabloid attacks on Donald that seek to distract attention from the issues, but it doesn’t change what this election is about for Liberal Feminists. When Bill was impeached, there were no hot-button issues at stake. For Liberal Feminists, It’s about Roe v. Wade. Period. They believe that abortion on demand is a human right. They believe gender equality is impossible without it. I think that that was a hidden reason that they crucified (even resorting to classic sexist baiting) Sarah Palin. Her life-story contradicts that. Let’s hope it makes some of these vote for a third party.
I just sent this out to my list and I entitled it, “Hillary’s War on Women” which was the slogan that defeated Romney turned around. Once coined and echoed, slogans have resonance, embodying the emotions they originally invoked regardless of how they are used or who uses them. That’s why anti-semites try to coopt terms like “anti-semite” and “Holocaust”
