Scott Adams made a cogent observation: If anyone thinks the Russians, Chinese, etc. have interfered with the election (Of course they have), then how much more are enemies within the US able to interfere with it? By a similar reasoning process, the Europeans are far more likely than the Chinese to have interfered; and it’s likely they’ve been interfering a lot.
These are not very profitable questions to be asking. It’s probably much more worthwhile for us to ask ourselves what the Chinese and Russians will actually DO, once one candidate or the other wins the US Presidency.
1. The Chinese are likely to continue with what they’ve been doing all along — pushing their expansionist schemes as far as we allow them to. Biden will give them a somewhat easier go of it; but the general plan will pretty much continue as before.
2. Russia is flat-out afraid of a major war. cf this Russian propaganda piece:
