Hamas Played Witkoff Like A Fool, Huckabee Is Revealing the TRUTH

Peloni:  Yishai Fleisher presents an important conversation here with Jake Bennett about the open conflict between Trump’s Middle East Envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Trump’s soon to be confirmed Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee.  Witkoff’s punditry on behalf of both Biden’s Israel policy and Qatar’s lack of radicalism, contrasts with Huckabee’s perspective that Israel’s war with Hamas is one of an existential nature which is being fought on behalf of Western civilization against barbarism.  The distinction between these two voices is neither nuance nor commiserate, but are in fact diametrically opposed visions for Israel and the world.  I look forward to Huckabee being confirmed in his position, but also to Witkoff being fired from his position.  Both of these actions would provide significantly greater moral clarity to the Trump administration.

  1. Unfortunately, with Trump, friends and loyalty are what counts even if the people are terrible for the positions they’re placed into. I could name dozens in this administration right now, but Witkoff is one of the worst. How ignorant of Hamas, Houthis and Hezbollah and Iran must you be to be duped by them!

Witkoff is said to be a friend of 40yrs with Trump, suggesting that he was picked due to their close personal relationship. Trump has also indicated that Witkoff is good at closing deals, something which has yet to be demonstrated to be an advantage, IMO.

He is, however, not just involved in peace talks in the ME, as he has been “tapped for talks with Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Armenia”, giving him an even greater role in Trump’s foreign policy efforts, and thereby, by extension of their influence on/over Witkoff, offering the terror allied Qatar an ever greater influence on the world stage. This is very concerning.
