In retrospect I agree with you completely, that is if I would have not made Aliah. I had a superb job and great prospects in the USA and yet, perhaps not fully understanding what I was getting into, came to Israel.
We did it basing our move on what we remembered of Israel of the 60’s. We arrived to Israel of the early 90’s. Nearly 24 years ago.
There is no connection between the Israel of the 60’s and today’s Israel. And as days go by, I doubt that we can turn it around. I am also nearing 80 and cannot hit the barricades. Nothing else will do.

Just in case I’m changing my email and password again. I took me more than an hour to get to the right people in security at Paypal and at the credit card company I have registered with Paypal.
With all the details of the transaction I convince the security at Paypal that any donation to your tedbelman90@gmail.com should be frozen. I also had all the information on the previous donation from June 3 from this year and told them that the email there is where the money should have gone.
He listened, ask questions and took note of it. I’m sorry, but after all the time and effort I went through I will not be donating this year again. Hadassah is having a million dollar campaign with matching funds. I’ll just increase my donation and next year I’ll see what I can do.
BTW Paypal would not refund my money because they had paid it already but I spoke to the credit card company and they have giving me full credit. I also talk to their security department about the fraud committed on your account. Please get someone better than the guy you have for security. You should recuperate your old website also.

Chamish has made a career of conspiracy theories. he seems to have some good sources but most are not identified and many if not most that he names are already dead.
I credit him with asking and bring to light questions others haven’t asked and or answered to this day. Problem is he draws conclusions that he can’t prove or verify.
He is in the Business of selling Books and the more outlandish his conspiracies the more the weirdo community who buy into that stuff rush to buy his books and he is in demand on their radio and TV shows and his articles are picked up and disseminated all over the net on those sites who by the way are some of the most antisemitic and anti Israel sites out there.
Now for any conspiracy theory to gain traction there must first be some element of truth and plausibility to them. Chamish seems to be able to supply both up to a point and then he loses it and his insanity takes over….
I have used some of his stuff but I tailored what I used from him to what I think was credible information and cut the weird stuff. I always knew though that using him as a source for anything would diminish the credibility of myself and the points I was trying to make at the time.

Several things come to mind. You recently lost your own domain name. As I understand it, this can only be done if somebody is watching your expiration date and then takes action. But now it seems that your private accounts have been penetrated… perhaps for longer than you realize. You’re saying things and posting information that’s considered dangerous to Israel’s Secret Intelligence Services (operating under different names, but in reality a unitary entity controlled by the old Labor Zionist claque). I’ve noticed that most people in the genuine Zionist camp don’t have adequate security. Since there’s no legal mechanism by which we can change the policies and actions of the State of Israel, those who too effectively expose the truth will inevitably find themselves the target of one or several bureaus in the State Security apparatus. David Bedein’s effective exposure of UNRWA made him the target of a variety of groups. They effectively penetrated and rendered ineffective his operation in Sderot. Barry Chamish was driven from the country. In spite of the criticisms of Barry’s work, those who go out of their way to portray him as a nut-case are themselves questionable… in particular those who argue that the CFR is an ineffective ‘debate society’ that has no meaningful impact on events here. Such notions are plainly ridiculous if only because the CFR doesn’t hide its activities and efforts to influence policy. Howard Grief’s work was mostly ignored. The latest is that Paypal has frozen his paypal account and are now trying to transfer the money to me.
I filed a police report today and cancelled my credit card.
I am watching carefully for the next attack. I have changed my passwords and so on.
I don’t believe any one else is compromised even if they donated on the Hackers button.

One thing about this hacking of you and Israpundit. It shows that you have a significant readership, even if a relative handful of them want to do you in electronically. It would be a lot less useful for Israel and the Jewish nation if nobody had ever heard of you.
This incident reminds me of a story that I read back in the early or mid Reagan and Gorbachev era, when Soviet Jews and non-Jews were coming out of the USSR. One dissident writer who came to the USA was interviewed about his life here, and what he thought of the freedoms this country offered.
He told the interviewer that in Russia, ever word he wrote was carefully read and critiqued by some KGB agent, whom he got to know quite well, as one Russian to another.
Then that link was broken by his move to Moscow on the Hudson or wherever he called home on these shores. And here, he related, not only was there no censorship of any kind, but he came to understand that nobody gave a damn whatsoever about what he wrote, what he thought, or even if he was alive and well. Like Jacques Brel, but alive and well and living in New York.
So, with every rose, there inevitably must be a thorn. But I think that works the other way around just as well.

My brother holds a PhD in Computer Science and MSc on math. He resides in Berkeley and I will contact him to see if he is able to help you.
While I do not know his full reach into internet security I know that he was a majer at several of the systems security firms. Most private hacks are traceable.
