We have an ethical obligation to help those in need–to the extent that we can afford, of course, and then maybe a tiny bit more. But we have no obligation whatsoever to sponsor the immigration of those who hate us and have sworn to destroy us. There are many needy people in the world that want to be American (and Canadian) citizens; that want to fit in and be happy here; that want to make a contribution to our country — let’s help these needy people first.
Pretty insane – aren’t there any real people left in America?
