Fatah can’t be trusted to destroy Hamas.

Aaron Klein in WND advises Israel urges silence on U.S. weapons to Palestinians. Apparently the IDF is complaining,

“We are being pressured from the (Israeli) political echelon not to interfere with American plans to provide weapons and equipment to Fatah. The concerns are that the weapons and equipment will be shared with elements of Fatah that regularly attack Israeli troops and plan attacks against Israeli civilians.”

But don’t worry, Rice stated,

“It was envisioned that the Palestinian Authority would have security forces. The problem is those security forces broke [up] into essentially personal militias under Arafat. They broke into too many that were often warring with each other.”

Rice announced U.S. military envoys in Israel created

“a plan for security forces that can be part of the solution, not part of the problem. And this plan is not just to equip them and train them, [but] it is also to professionalize them, to unify them, to put them under a single command.”

“This is a train-and-equip program that is going to move over time,” Rice said, “so it is not as if you simply arm the Palestinians on Day One and then have no input or control over what happens from then on. I think as a result you can maintain some control on what is being done.”

Now let me see, it hasn’t worked in the past and there is no indication that these arms will actually be used to fight Hamas. Also Fatah have far more trained fighters than Hamas and has never taken them on.

Similarly, this is what the Us has been attempting to do with Iraqi security forces and after three years they are still not able or willing to fight the Badr Brigades.

You can not trust the Arabs to do your bidding.

  1. Why is Israel going along with this insanity, when just last week fake-moderate Abbas said guns shouldn’t be used against Palestinians, just Israelis: “We have a legitimate right to direct our guns against Israeli occupation. It is forbidden to use these guns against Palestinians…”(JPost, 1/11). Why can’t Israel see who these US-supplied guns and training will be turned against?

  2. “You cannot trust the Arabs to do our bidding.” That statement is well spoken. One definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Right now the governments of the US, Israel, and Western Europe seem to be clinically insane.

Since the Arabs, as they are ruled by Islam, pose a grave and gathering threat to the US, Israel, and Western civilization and we are unable to find reliable proxies to fight the most dangerous groups within the Arab world, someone will eventually be forced to colonize the Middle East. Perhaps it will be Israel or major powers within Europe or maybe even the US or perhaps Western nations working together.

In order to colonize the Middle East, the US and Western Europe will need much larger militaries. In the final analysis a civilizied Western type nation or a group of civilized Western type nations will not colonize the Middle East becuase they want to. They will do it becuase they are forced to do it. In other words, their very survival will depend on it.
