Focus on deterrence
Israel’s experiences since the founding of the state indicate that for every Palestinian terrorist effort stopped by Israel, a new path of terrorism has been forged. When they think they have found a particularly murderous new method, one which they believe has no Israeli antidote, they urge their followers to use it to attack as much as possible.
It is up to us to identify our adversaries and to deal with them individually. Those who carry out stabbing and ramming attacks should be killed on the spot. The political echelon must stop the cycle of incitement on Al Jazeera and put an end to the funding that flows from Qatar — which is hiding behind an American military screen — to Hamas, the Palestinian Authority and the Islamic Movement. A fire at home would force Qatar to tend to its own, meaning more Jews living safely in Israel (and more security for Egypt).
Confiscate and imprison
Israeli democracy must get defensive. The Palestinian Authority radio stations that broadcast incitement should be shut down and their staff dispersed. The Islamic Movement, which openly calls for genocide, should be outlawed. Its properties should be confiscated and its leaders imprisoned. No one would criticize these steps, since everyone is fighting Islamic radicalism these days, the streets are surging and “a wet man does not fear the rain.” Imams and sheikhs who deal in incitement should be arrested and imprisoned. We must replace the legal advisors who always say why things cannot be done with those who know how to take action in accordance with the law.
Collective punishment should be minimized, and instead, we must focus on murderers and their families. Since one can never know who will become the next murderer, the previous one must be punished in such a way that creates deterrence, pulling the rug out from under the stories of success surrounding the despicable stabbing terrorism. The homes of murderers must be demolished and their residency nullified; they should be fined and their lives embittered. This will make it stop — and they know why. Believe me, it will work. This hasn’t changed for these murderers in hundreds of years.

Why cant the arab knesset members be given admin detention for incitement? there has been no one more inciteful than them… certainly not the Jews they gave admin detention.
The leftist supreme court has been protecting them and given them a license to incite the stabbing and burnings of Jews.
Lets hope the shin bet does not go astray and use this to put jewish dissenters in detention. the arab inciters should have been long in jail if it was not for the illegitimate supreme court that BB keeps in power by obstructing the shaked bill.
No doubt! MSM is making that clear. As soon as there are too many Palestinian ‘casualties’ they get their head in a knot. Not much reaction when it was Jews being murdered.
This is exactly why we must not be silent – both inside and outside of Israel. Every time they try to put the blame back on Israel we need to call them on it!
The only reason “World Leaders” will work against incitement is that they are concerned for the number of poor palestinians now being shot and killed on the streets of Israel.
We cannot be silent!!
B’nai B’rith Delegation to World Leaders: You Can No Longer Condone Palestinian Incitement
October 13, 2015 — During the opening of the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, a B’nai B’rith International delegation met with numerous visiting presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers and other senior officials. The delegation, led by International President Allan Jacobs and accompanied by B’nai B’rith leaders, professionals and partners, included B’nai Brith Canada CEO Michael Mostyn as the only representative from a Canadian Jewish organization.
“B’nai Brith was proud to be the only Canadian representative to meet with visiting presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers and other senior officials, as part of this delegation,” said Michael Mostyn, CEO, B’nai Brith Canada. “Our meetings with world leaders at the sidelines of the General Assembly exemplifies B’nai Brith’s unwavering commitment to engaging with the international community on behalf of world Jewry.”
The delegation pressed international leaders on the need for increased and intensified vigilance surrounding Iranian nuclear activity and against Iran’s support for terrorism in the Middle East and beyond. B’nai B’rith also urged government officials to condemn Palestinian incitement, which has since exploded into a series of deadly attacks in Jerusalem.
Meetings at the United Nations followed Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas’ disavowment of signed peace agreements with Israel in his speech to the General Assembly on September 30th. Following President Abbas’ speech, the Palestinian flag was raised at the United Nations despite the fact that only hours prior, President Abbas announced the PA’s refusal to be bound by the Oslo Accords.
“The international community has once again failed to address Mahmoud Abbas’ clear departure from peacemaking, coupled with his recent anti-Jewish incitement which has now lead to the deaths of numerous civilians,” added Mostyn. “Mahmoud Abbas, now in the 10th year of his 4 year Presidential term, has shown by his words and actions a contempt for peace. This incitement has further radicalized another generation of Palestinian youth to commit abhorrent acts of random terror, violence and murder.
“We congratulate Canada for voting no and standing up to an international community which supported the raising of the Palestinian flag at the UN headquarters. In raising the Palestinian flag, the United Nations has further incentivized Palestinian refusal to condemn terror and return to the negotiating table. The international community must immediately call to account all Palestinian factions complicit in the incitement and condemn this latest wave of terror.”
