This is from Newsmax: the law cited is not all that “obscure. In fact, it is the law that governs the election of a President.
“Obscure Law Could Be Trump’s Last Bid to Challenge Election Results
donald trump speaks at press briefing
President Donald Trump’s efforts to challenge the election results could come down to him pressing congressional Republicans to step in and help.
Politico noted that Congress has to certify the results of the election after the Electoral College casts the official vote for president on Dec. 14. An 1887 law mandates that Congress must meet on Jan. 6 to take action.
The law says that the House and Senate must meet in joint session that day to certify the results. But if a House member and senator team together, they are able to object to entire slates of presidential electors. And there are multiple opportunities for lengthy delays in the process since each state’s electors must be certified separately, Politico said.
If a slate of electors is challenged, the House and Senate must go back to their chambers and debate the outcome before voting.
And if the Senate upholds a challenge to some presidential electors, it would almost certainly put the chamber at odds with the Democrat-run House victory.
Still, several Republican lawmakers in then House acknowledge they are considering the option to challenge, Politico said.
“Nothing is off the table,” said Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.
And Rep. Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, said potential challenges are seriously being considered by some members and they’re “studying” up on it.
Meanwhile Jenna Ellis, who is part of the Trump campaign’s legal team, cautioned: “Until the Electoral College actually votes on Dec. 14, we don’t have a president-elect.” ”
There is at way that Trump might just be able to overturn the election results. If both houses of Congress vote to reject the Governor-certified slate of electors and instead approve a rival slate, then that rival slate is considered to be elected and added to the electoral vote for the “losing” candidate. If the Congress were to reject four or five “certified” electoral slates on grounds of electoral fraud, and recognizethe rival Republican- Trump slate as the winner, Trump would receive an electoral majority and be reelected President.
The “problem” is that the Democrats retain a small majority in the House of Representatives, making it unlikely that it will vote to overturn Democratic electoral slates. But even here, there is a possible remedy. U.S. law once had a procedure for resolving disputes about the outcome of elections to the House of Representatives. But it was repealed in 1928 and never replaced! This could give local election boards, state courts, and the u.S. Supreme Court considerable leeway in deciding disputed elections to the Hous eof Rpresentative. If there are enough Republican candidates who file disputes to the local and state electoral authorities that have certified the Democrat candidate as the winner, it is possible that these Democratic Representatives could be replaced by Republican ones, giving the Republicans the majority in the House. Tricky, but maybe just doable.

Ken Timmerman is a friend of mine. Give me the title of the article.
I never trashed any of your comments.
Ted, I am still miffed that you have trashed my comment on Kissinger’s comment’s about China-American relations, and impact of Chinese and American history on those relations. My comment was briefly published in the comments section, but then quickly disaapeared without explanation.According to the article I was commenting on (from Epoch Times, I think). Kissinger sid that China’s history gave them reasonable grounds to fear an American attack , bit American history did not give the U.S. any grounds to fear a Chinese invasion or attack.
One of Gyuri Schwartz’s many disinformation tactics, common to “good Marxists”, is to label organizations in superficially humanitarian and noble terms, antithetical to their true intent. The Open Society Foundation (that never opens its books for public scrutiny), the many anti-Zionist organizations (Students for Justice In Palestine) etc. are other examples of this technique, identified almost a century ago by Orwell as “Doublespeak.” Schwartz’ “Integrity” should therefore be interpreted as DECEIT.

Biden won – get used to it. Maybe next time the Republicans won’t select such an a_hole to represent them
I just started nodding off, and had a vision of going down the staircase at a parking garage, checking at every level to see if there were any meaningful news… and never finding any. When I came to, I realized that i had been on a “downward spiral”. Much of the past four years has been like this.
There is a ruling that one should avoid speaking lashon hara at all times in order not to become accustomed to speaking it.
@ sabashimon:
I don’t think “lashon hara” applies to Goyim, and furthermore it I’m pretty sure it means harmful to reputation, damaging comments, although true.. I recall it from Chaider where I attended for about 10-12 years. Lying tales are referred to differently, can’t remember how, but NOT lashan hara . Curses also have a different term, but don’t know what it is. Growing up, we never thought of cursing.
And…you have a pretty filthy tongue yourself. So stand up and take a bow…
I just looked up Beau, and you are correct, he served his country….in the Legal Department of the Army. Didn’t even get shot in the tuchhas like Kerry. His picture in Wikipaedia is not pleasant…They could have done better…one with his mouth closed -for instance.
Right wing anti-Semites are coming out of the closet over the Bibi “congratulatory” statement.
@ Robert Katz:
He was joe biden’s son, that’s enough for me.
@ Laura:
I’m no fan of the Biden clan, in fact farfar from it, but Beau at least served his country….have you ever served anyone or anything other than yourself? You have obviously never heard the term “lashon hara”, but then why would you have?
You have a filthy mouth Lady, and since I am not speaking ill of others, but directly to you, I don’t mind saying that you are one mean and ugly-minded bitch.
@ Laura:
I would like to mention something which obviously you haven’t been taught as a child (better late than never): don’t curse others because your curse may return and fall on your own head (kind of like a boomerang).
I hope hunter overdoses on crack, commits suicide or suffers the same brain cancer his ugly brother had and joins Bo in hell. Has bejing Biden ever considered that the reason 2 of his children have died because God has punished him for being evil? Jill Biden is a filthy whore. The entire Biden family is evil incarnate.
It would be the electoral map, if the United States were not a Socialist Republic. But as Stalin said, “It’s not who votes, but who counts the votes”
