Double standard in Seattle

The proposed ads to be carried on Seattle buses as you have heard, are incendiary and untrue. Here’s one example.”Israel War Crimes = your Tax Dollars at Work”.

Ami Isseroff at Israel News has the whole story with telephone number to call to protest and email addresses.

Why is it that lies can be told about Israel and Jews with impunity while the truth can’t be said about Islam. The rationality is given that Muslims would be offended.

Well Jews will be offended by these ads but that seems to be OK.

  1. “Why is it that lies can be told about Israel and Jews with impunity while the truth can’t be said about Islam.”

It’s because, as George W. Bush DIDN’T say, “Islam is Lies”.

  2. I called the Seattle Transit Authority ( phone 206-553-3000) and the reply I received from the guy on the other end of the phone was “Everyone is entitled to have an opinion”. I informed this jack ass that it was not a matter of an opinion, it was a matter of well thought, out anti-semitic propaganda- good old fashion Jew hatred, and not only was it offensive, but dangerous. The guy did not even care.

Linda Thielke, Transit Spokesperson for the King County Metro (phone 206-684-1151) is not answering her phone, but has a voice mail stating that if you are media, leave your name and number, and she’ll get back to you.

The “suggested response” is ok- but not strong enough. Use the same photo ad run quotes from the Q’uran itself:
” Sahih Bukhari Hadith Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176: Narrated by ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar: Allah’s Apostle said, “You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, ‘O ‘Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.'”

………..and other such peals of wisdom

Is anyone actually going to gather the dollars to take action and run it, and others like it? That is the crux of our problem- no one does anything but live in denial until the problem becomes drastic. And, why just Seattle? As I understand it, the same thing is going on in San Francisco and Houston.
