  1. @ lsatenstein:

China completes world’s largest amphibious aircraft: Xinhua

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/china-completes-worlds-largest-amphibious-aircraft-xinhua-123420371–sector.html?ref=gs

OUr consumption and purchases paid for this and paid for china’s ability to wreak havoc in the south china sea. we did that on the advice of those in power from both parties for the last 3 decades. they do not admit their error, only Trump sees the problem there as he does with other problems. None of the political crooks and hacks who have been sucking our blood for decades have any solutions…. they cant even diagnose the problem. If you dont know whats even wrong you cant fix it. thats what you keep missing…. aside from the incredible massive corruption and dangerous espionage of hillary clinton and her MB sidekick.

  2. lsatenstein Said:

I just love Donald. He tells you about all the problems, but not how he is going to fix them.

actually most folks heard him say how he is going to fix them: law and order, banning mulim immigration, build a wall, increased tariffs , lower taxes, no HB! visascam, fair trade deals, no allowance of currency manipulation to circumvent existing trade deals, etc etc etc. I dont agree with them all but he stated his platforms.
    lsatenstein Said:

I can say, crime is on the upswing, terrorism is on the increase. Can I explain how to curtail crime without blowing the budget or making a dictator state, where the government is in your nose? And for terrorism, are you going to stop the internet or put a million or two people to watching what is being sent encrypted? Are you going to trust all those millions of watchers? Who will watch them.

when the mechanic fixes your car does he give you a blow by blow account of which screw he will turn next? The first step to fixing something is to make the correct diagnosis as to what is wrong, what needs fixing, what part needs replacing. Donald is the ONLY mechanic who came to examine the car and made the correct diagnosis. All the others want to overhaul the engine and donald wants to change the spark plugs. If you discuss terror today and you cant say the word muslim then you are unqualified and incompetent to solve the problem. Donald is the only one to make the correct diagnoses and suggest a reasonable approach to each problem that actually has a possibility of working. The rest are not worth considering, will waste time and money playing PC.
At this stage I dont expect any serious competent person, except hillary, to give a detailed plan on fixing the problems. I say except hillary because she has been privy to, and a part of, the inner workings of the gov and the classified info necessary to make relevant decisions. Everyone else must fist come into gov and aquaint themselves with the REAL STORY before making plans and decisions. This is what is expected of any CEO of a major entity being considered for the position. The CEO isnt so presumptious or foolish to submit detailed plans without even having first the relevant info.
You are used to BS politicians who never accomplish anything beyond speeches and votes and who use our money to sell themselves to us with their BS plans and platforms. donald had made the correct prognoses, he has offered reasonable and workable solutions, he has shown us a proven track record of accomplishment in a field where achievement is king, unlike politicians.
Its obvious that you have collected a salary your entire life and been instructed in what to do by folks above you, like Donald, and know little about how to evaluate someone for an executive position.

    lsatenstein Said:

Technology is going to force big changes to lifestyles. Americans may end up migrating to other countries. And for the ones that remain, a 3 day work week will be the norm in a short time.

I agree that tech is the major problem but no one is migrating when the option is to change the system and the gov. Capitalism as it now stands does not have a reasonable system in place for an advanced tech robotic economy to distribute wealth in an economy owned by individuals or corps except through taxation, welfare and dividends. the challenge of the future is how to adopt economic systems to advance technology so that the resources and economy do not end up with a class of elite who own all the robots for production, the robots for policing, the robots for their private militias… and the rest are useless consumers of their largesse living on welfare. However, this major problem is not up in this election and certainly no one running has a clue about that beyond giving more power to the elite or to the gov. Neither of those will work… pure capitalism and pure socialism cannot work satisfactorily for all in a society without need of human labor.
    lsatenstein Said:

We can produce more goods than we can consume and we are doing it with fewer people.

the dream for all is in robotics where ALL share in the benefits of the tech advancement of our civilization. However, the current economic model needs more consumers in order to produce annual growth figures which are always increasing in order to drive up share prices. More bodies means more toilet paper which means more profit and higher share prices. But this is not necessarily good for those who do not own those shares. a society which is able to downsize is better… but the stock market will not allow that.
    lsatenstein Said:

What is Donald going to do? Bring in communism so that everyone works?

in a society that is completely robotic noone works… that is supposed to be a goal… but in our capitalist model those who dont work for those who own the robots and dont need workers must starve. The current capitalist model and solution is the guaranteed income which guarantees increased share to the elite and a poverty level income for the rest. IN the end, those who own the robots will say why are we feeding all these others.. we no longer need them to service our whims, we no longer need them to protect us from them, we no longer need them to produce our needs… lets just get rid of them….. we can begin by lowering their fertilization rates…hmm, how about zika?

  3. @ lsatenstein:Lies, lies and more lies. Let’s see who The American people choose. Yous people have done more to empower Trump than 10 million dollars in television, radio and newspaper commercials. Thank you for being so unfair, so partisan and most of all so willfully obtuse.
By the way Kaine looks like a parrot to me. No wonder she chose him, The Grand Puppet’s Parrot.

  4. I just love Donald. He tells you about all the problems, but not how he is going to fix them.

Donald has been promising nothing, Make America greater is one thing. Can manufacturing return to the USA when the salary in the USA is many many times the salary of other countries, and for example, where robots replaced 60,000 workers in Samsung factories.

Technology is going to force big changes to lifestyles. Americans may end up migrating to other countries. And for the ones that remain, a 3 day work week will be the norm in a short time.

  5. CNN probably regrets polling viewers after Trump’s RNC speech because, well… WOW

For viewers, a whopping 57 percent said they had a “very positive” reaction to the speech, while only 24 percent said the speech had a “negative effect.”

Even more incredible for Trump was that 73 percent of viewers said the policies proposed in the speech would move the country in the “right direction,” with only 24 percent saying otherwise.

The speech left 56 percent of viewers saying they are “more likely” to vote for Trump.
